Yoshihiro Ueda (上田芳裕) is a Japanese director who works for Toei Animation.


Ueda has been episode director for Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT. He also worked on Dr. Slump movies (Dr. Slump and Arale-chan: Hoyoyo! The Treasure of Nanaba Castle and Dr. Slump and Arale-chan: Hoyoyo! Dream Capital Mecha Police), and he directed Dragon Ball Z: Bojack Unbound, Dragon Ball Z: Bio-Broly, Dragon Ball: Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return!!, Dragon Ball: Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans, and Dragon Ball: Episode of Bardock.

Outside of animation based on Akira Toriyama's works, Ueda worked on Futari wa Pretty Cure, Ginga Tetsudō 999, Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo, Kinnikuman Nisei, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Magic User's Club, One Piece, Ultimate Muscle, YAT Anshin! Uchu Ryokou, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monster GX.
