Yoshifumi Yuki (由木 義文; born in 1944) is a Buddhist scholar, screenwriter, and a priest of the Jodo sect of Kazo from the Saitama Prefecture, Japan.
Biography[]
Yoshifumi Yuki studied at the Keio University, and obtained an Indian philosophy Ph.D. at University of Tokyo. Besides teaching at Keio University as a lecturer of religious studies, Yoshifumi Yuki has been the chief priest of the Ryuzo temple for many years.
He wrote Dragon Ball script for Toei Animation. He also wrote the screenplay for Dr. Slump and Arale-chan: Hoyoyo! The Treasure of Nanaba Castle, came with the original concept of Dr. Slump and Arale-chan: Hoyoyo! Dream Capital Mecha Police, Dragon Ball: Curse of the Blood Rubies, Dragon Ball: Sleeping Princess in Devil's Castle, and wrote the screenplay of Dragon Ball: Mystical Adventure.
In 2004, he was appointed to the Public Safety Commission of the Saitama Prefecture, and he was the committee chairman until 2008.
