Xeno Trunks (トランクス :ゼノ Torankusu Zeno)[4] is an incarnation of Future Trunks from a world separate to the main timeline who is a member of the Time Patrol.

Concept and creation

Xeno Trunks was originally going to achieve Super Saiyan 4 during the Dark King Mechikabura Saga, however the developers could not decide on the hair color (purple or black) and so it was scrapped in favor of Super Saiyan God.[7]

Appearance

Trunks dons clothing inspired by various military uniforms from World War I and II. Trunks wears a World War-esque black trench coat with a fur-lined collar and an olive green sweater underneath, olive green pants with lighter-colored bandages around his shins and brown colored laced boots which. Additionally, Trunks also carries a new sword, while wearing these clothes. Trunks: Xeno retains his original lavender hair color. After training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Xeno Trunks' hair grows longer and he keeps it in a ponytail.

Personality

"These are... the Supreme Kai of Time's memories......... Unforgivable...! Absolutely Unforgivable, Dark Empire Army!! Purify the Darkness, Key Sword!!"
— Xeno Trunks' emotional reaction to seeing Chronoa's memories of being brainwashed in "Chapter 14" of Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Dark Demon Realm Mission!

Xeno Trunks' personality is the same as that of his main counterparts.

ChronoaThreatensTrunks

Xeno Trunks nervous and frightened by an angry Chronoa in the manga

In the Dragon Ball Heroes manga, he is shown to be nervous and somewhat frightened of Chronoa's temper, due to her being overworked to the point she hasn't slept. However despite this he cares for her wellbeing as shown during the manga version of the Dark King Mechikabura Saga, upon seeing Chronoa's memories of being subdued and brainwashed by Demon Goddess Towa and Mechikabura after he is hit by Brainwashed Berserker Chronoa's Time Clock, he is brought to tears as he sees Mechikabura brainwashing Chronoa and ordering her to kneel before him, finding it unforgivable and in his rage he turns Super Saiyan 3 before charging towards Chronoa with the Key Sword to purify Chronoa of the Power of Darkness that is controlling her. When the freed Chronoa tries to apologize to him, he dismisses it telling her she doesn't have to apologize for anything.

In World Mission, he is forced to don his own Great Saiyaman Suit to discreetly investigate anomalies within the game world of Super Dragon Ball Heroes as he and other characters that appear in the game are famous celebrities among the SDBH players and locals of Hero Town. However unlike, Gohan who acts as a goofy yet passionate superhero, Xeno Trunks as Great Saiyaman 3 does not engage in silly Fighting Poses and wears a more high-tech version of the Great Saiyaman Suit modeled after Gohan's in coloration though with the addition of a high-tech sword to fit Xeno Trunks' sword based fighting style. Additionally he begins playing SDBH in order to have a better understanding of the game to investigate the anomaly. He refers to the one responsible as the "Menace" due to the threat the anomiles pose to both the real and game worlds. However despite becoming a talented player, the Anomaly grows stronger forcing him to seek out those players he believes can develop special powers. As a result, he forms the Dragon Ball Heroes team to help him investigate the anomalies. His role is similar to his counterpart in the Xenoverse series commanding them from the team's base the Hero Lab where he monitors them and directs them to any anomalies that appear within the game's timeline which is based on recorded history. He also protects Hero Town from any enemies that escape the game world such as Cooler, though the general populous believes them to be really good cosplayers LARPing with Great Saiyaman 3 whom they are unaware is actually the real Xeno Trunks of Time Patrol.

Ironically, Great Saiyaman 3 becomes a popular SDBH player due to his cool costume and playing skills, and the way he carries himself. As a result, they started calling him by the nickname Hero Master, which was shortened to just Master. He also gained the moniker of a "dreamboat" by his female admirers. Eventually he got used to both his nickname and moniker. This shows that unlike the original Great Saiyaman, he lacks Great Saiyaman 1's quirkiness, though even Gohan's alter-ego is popular among some SDBH players and fans who like his quirkiness though even some of them look up to Great Saiyaman 3. Ultimately Great Saiyaman 3 is shown to be a great mentor and leader thanks to his past experience as a member of both the Dragon Team and Time Patrol.

"(This is more awkward than Buu trying to ice skate...)"
Great Saiyaman 3's thoughts while having to pose with Great Saiyaman 4 and the Saiya Squad in World Mission

During the Chapter 3, Sub Chapter 1: "Great Saiyaman 4", it is revealed that Great Saiyaman 3 himself really isn't a fan of the Great Saiyaman 3 suit designed by Leggings and like his younger main timeline counterpart wearing his Great Saiyaman Suit in Dokkan Battle, he only tolerates having to wear it though both he and Leggings' assistant Anne drew the line against Leggings' intentions to have the entire DBH Team wear their own high-tech Saiyaman Suits as she designed the Hero Switches with a built-in feature that materializes the suit however Anne and Great Saiyaman 3 kept her from saying anything about it to the team. However when Beat wishes to have a suit like the Hero Master's, Great Saiyaman 3 allows Leggings to tell him and the team about the suit materialization feature and Beat activates it gaining his own slightly shorter swordless version which Leggings dubs Great Saiyaman 4. Leggings notes when she first "knighted" the Hero Master as Great Saiyaman 3, the epicness of the scene left everyone speechless, though Anne and Great Saiyaman 3's silent reaction to her telling this strongly implies they both dislike the suit and lack Beat and Leggings' tastes as both find the suit to be cool. Additionally, in the Chapter 3, Sub Chapter 1 Super Boss Mission: "I'm a Robber Now?!", after a brief misunderstanding causes Great Saiyaman 2 to assume Great Saiyaman 4 is a thief working for Great Saiyaman 3 whom she believes to be a local crime boss after Great Saiyaman 4 refers to him as master, a battle between the Great Saiyaman 4 and the DBH Team against the first two Saiyamen leads to Great Saiyaman 1 realizing they are not criminals, but local superheroes and he convinces them to join him and Great Saiyaman 2 in a team pose which Xeno Trunks finds more awkward than Buu trying to ice skate thus showing in addition to disliking the suit, Xeno Trunks also dislikes posing but like the suit puts up with it for the sake of Gohan, Videl, and Beat out of respect for them and the Great Saiyaman mantle. Additionally, he does his best to keep his identity a secret when Great Saiyaman 1 who notices his ki signature feels familiar as it likely reminds him of the game world Future Trunks and/or Trunks' ki signature who are Xeno Trunks' alternate game world counterparts. His relationship with his student Note resembles his relationship with Chronoa and his main timeline counterpart's relationship with Pan in the GT timeline as both are quick to point out his failings such as Note admonishing him for being late forcing him to apologize as he preoccupied with being on the lookout for signs of the menace, indicating he can be hyper vigilant at times presumably due to originating from a apocalyptic timeline like his mainstream counterpart Future Trunks. However he does recognize the importance of taking a breather every once and a while given the serious threats he and his students face. He also keeps Beat and Note focused as they tend to get starstruck at times while investigating in-game, though he understands as being SDBH players it is only natural for them to get excited when meeting various characters like Goku and Vegeta, or visiting important locations such as Gizard Wasteland.

At times he can be surprised by unexpected developments in-game due to the anomaly as unlike alterations to history, anomiles in the game world's timeline would be unlikely if not impossible in the real world such as Vegeta achieving Super Saiyan 3 around the time of the Attack of the Saiyans conflict. At one point, he even utters the superhero-esqe phase "Pivoting Power Poles!" after both Raditz and Nappa achieve Super Saiyan 3 as well during the same period. This is likely due to him being familiar with the original history to the point he is easily shocked by situations that should be impossible. However, he is quick to adapt to changing situations and even willing to join his students if they get in way over their heads though only when absolutely necessary showing he has a lot of faith in their playing skills and potential.

However, he hides his true identity from his students until the arrival of his fellow Time Patrollers Xeno Goku and his father Xeno Vegeta to deal with the threat once Sealas is revealed to be the menace behind the anomiles. Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta even suggest he enjoys his role as Great Saiyaman 3 so much that he neglected to tell Beat and Note his true identity, though he presumably didn't want it to distract them from their mission as unlike characters in the game world, he is the real world Xeno Trunks. Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta however insist he reveal his true identity as both recognize that the pair have earned it and by that point they were used to interacting with characters from the game and their real world counterparts. After this he discards his Great Saiyaman 3 identity while working with the team. However it is revealed that Beat looks up to Xeno Trunks' alter-ego so much that when he and Note use their Hero Switches to grant them the power to fight villains in the real world, that it caused Beat to manifest his own Great Saiyaman Suit leading him to dub himself Great Saiyaman 4 after his mentor, showing that he looks up to Great Saiyaman 3 much like how Xeno Trunks looks up to Future Gohan and his counterpart, Xeno Gohan. However Note simply manifests the form of her Hero Avatar showing that she is not as fond of his alter-ego though after learning his true identity is pleased to know her Master is the real Xeno Trunks, though she is quick to admonish him for not telling them sooner.

Like Xeno Goku, Xeno Trunks is surprised by Beat's ability to go Super Saiyan without the use of a Saiyan avatar when he transforms as a result of his rage towards Legendary Super Saiyan Broly after the boy thought Broly had killed Note with a Ki Blast (in reality she was simply knocked out cold). He is also amazed by the power Beat posseses in his natural Super Saiyan form after seeing him overpower Legendary Super Saiyan 3 Broly.

Trunks joins time patrol

Future Trunks is made a Time Patroller

In the manga, shortly after his death at the conclusion of the Cell Games, Future Trunks was revived by the Dragon Balls and headed back to his future, where he restored peace by destroying the evil Future Androids, and then Future Cell three years later. However, soon after, Future Trunks found himself in the Time Nest. Startled, he soon received another surprise as Chronoa appeared and attacked him, he managed to evade her and she explained that his usage of a Time Machine was against the law. After explaining that Towa and Mira were causing trouble, the Supreme Kai of Time decides that Future Trunks can serve as a member of the Time Patrol, and gifts him with his "Xeno Trunks" clothes.

Chronoa and Xeno Trunks head to confront Towa and Mira in their hideout, but Mira quickly attacks with an energy blast, terrifying the Kai. Xeno Trunks manages to deflect it with his sword, however Mira sends the Masked Saiyan to combat him, finding himself overwhelmed in his base form by the Masked Saiyan, Xeno Trunks ascends to Super Saiyan and is able to fight on even grounds with him, eventually managing to land a blow that cracks his mask.

Trunks Bardock vs Mira

Xeno Trunks and Bardock face Mira

Mira is enraged by this and transforms into Super Mira, however before Mira can overwhelm Xeno Trunks, he is hit with an energy wave from behind by the Masked Saiyan, whose mask crumbles - revealing his identity as Bardock. Xeno Trunks teams up with Bardock to fight Super Mira, and are able to fight on even grounds with him and eventually overwhelm him. However Towa teleports herself and Mira away before the battle can conclude. After a brief conversation with Bardock, Xeno Trunks heads back to the Time Nest. Chronoa explains the Demon Realm to Xeno Trunks, when Demigra unexpectedly appears.

After a brief conversation, Xeno Trunks prepares to fight after Demigra notices Tokitoki. Demigra then abruptly leaves. Xeno Trunks wants to pursue him, but Chronoa says that it would be too much for him, and summons the strongest warrior from Xeno Trunks' memories - Xeno Goku - to aid him for a limited time.

Because of this Chronoa decides to split up, Xeno Goku and Chronoa will go together while Xeno Trunks teams up with a new recruit, Xeno Vegeta. They then head off to the altered history, turning out to be taking place in the Cell Games, with most of the Dragon Team defeated with a newly emerged Xeno Cell fused with a Dark Dragon Ball. Xeno Vegeta soon springs into action, defeating Xeno Cell and blowing most of his body off with a Final Flash. However, before he finishes him off, Demon God Gravy arrives and knocks Xeno Vegeta out. Xeno Trunks tries to battle Gravy but is sent back as well. Having no other option, Xeno Trunks fuses with the unconscious Xeno Vegeta into Xeno Vegeks.

However, this fusion was unsuccessful against Gravy, Putine and later Cell-X and ultimately defused. But before Gravy could deal the final blow, Chronoa teleports them to her location in order to help against Xeno Majin Buu and the Dark Empire Forces.

During the fight between Demon God Xeno Majin Buu and Xeno Vegito, a mysterious individual suddenly arrives and interferes with the fight, saving Xeno Majin Buu. Before any of the Time Patrol could react, Demon God Xeno Majin Buu used this time to escape. Back at the Sacred World of the Kai, the individual appears once more. Xeno Trunks attempts to attack the demon but is stopped by Chronoa, to question him. The demon says that he means no harm, and warns them that Hell is becoming more and more agitated.

Though disagreeing at first, the Time Patrol agree to help Chamel by sending Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta. Chronoa then transfers all of their injuries onto herself and rests, with Xeno Trunks guarding her while Chamel, Xeno Goku, and Xeno Vegeta, leave to travel to Hell. Xeno Trunks and Xeno Gohan travel to another change in history, meeting Towa, Salsa, and a Dark Dragon Ball merged Xeno Lord Slug. Towa forcefully evolves Xeno Lord Slug into his Dark Evolution, a Super Giant-Form. Immediately being overwhelmed by Xeno Lord Slug's might, Xeno Gohan and Xeno Trunks use the fusion dance to fuse into Xeno Gohanks. However, in their fused form they are unable to do any damage to Xeno Lord Slug due to his overwhelming size.

Xeno Trunks appears with the rest of the Time Patrol in the Demon Realm just as Mechikabura is summoning Dark Shenron in order to regain his youth. Mechikabura's subordinates, Gravy, Putine, Towa, Salsa, Mira, Xeno Dabura show up in order to hold off the Time Patrol to buy time for the Dragon to restore their masters power. As the battles between the Time Breakers and Time Patrol unfolds, Xeno Trunks heads off along with Chronoa as back up and transforms into a Super Saiyan 3 to dispose of the enemy forces. However, he is struck by Dark Shenron's tail and soon after they are all transported back to the Time Nest except for Chronoa.

Dark King Mechikabura Saga

Main article: Dark King Mechikabura Saga Xeno Goku and the other members of the Time Patrol are thanked for their work in preserving the timelines by Old Kai when Xeno Trunks notices another disturbance. The Time Patrol head to Age 790 where they witness Gogeta fighting against Omega Shenron. Soon after arriving, their present timeline counterparts, friends and family under a form of mind control attack them. Xeno Trunks ends up fighting against his counterpart self until he notices Towa along with her brother Dabura nearby and demands to know how they got free and whether Chronoa is alright of which he is assured that she is. When Demigra, Chamel and Robelu show up, Xeno Trunks asks Chamel if he is really sided with Demigra and he is told to just draw his own conclusions from observation. Xeno Trunks wonders what Demigra's motives are and if he plans to to unseat Chronoa's position, though Demigra simply expresses that it is convenient to make use of them. Eventually everyone is frozen in place and Xeno Trunks recalls such an ability just as he see's a mind controlled Chronoa hovering above them. In the end, he along with everyone else is teleported away to Demigra's lair by Robelu's magic.

The Time Patrol are told by Chamel of the six Hell Gates and that behind each one lies a Demon God who is maintaining a barrier to Mechikabura's Palace and they must all be defeated. Robelu uses her magic to transform Trunks' sword into a Key Sword and instructs him to stay behind to use the key to cut off the barriers power as well as slightly weakening the Demon Gods inside each gate.

After everyone succeeds in their mission and returns to the hideout, Xeno Trunks soon notices when everyone freezes in place and turns to see Chronoa floating above. Chronoa realizes that Xeno Trunks was not frozen due to him wielding the Key Sword and vows to release more of her power. Entering into her Time Power Unleashed form, Chronoa uses the Time Clock technique, sending a barrage of dark arrows that impale Xeno Trunks. Xeno Trunks while holding the Key views segments of Chronoa's memories as she is defeated by Towa and brainwashed by Mechikabura. Furious, he transforms into a Super Saiyan 3 and charges at Chronoa. Striking her with the Key Sword, he purifies the darkness within her and returns her to normal along with unfreezing the rest in the hideout. Chronoa apologizes for everything that she has done though Xeno Trunks tells her that she has nothing to be sorry about.

Just then a mass of dark energy comes crashing down upon everyone as Mechikabura emerges a top a nearby tower. Xeno Trunks is the only one left standing which he believes is down to wielding the Key Sword. Xeno Trunks charges in and attacks Mechikabura with his Key Sword only for him to stop it with his fingertip with ease. Xeno Trunks is easily beaten and the sword is taken from him and promptly thrown away. After Mechikabura summons the other Demon Gods and absorbs them to enter into his Time Unleashed, he heads off to the Time Nest. Chronoa asks Xeno Trunks to go after him but before he heads off, the defeated Saiyans give their remaining energy to him which unexpectedly transforms him into a Super Saiyan God. Xeno Trunks and Chronoa appear at the Time Nest where he attacks Mechikabura with his own sword. Mechikabura is impressed by Xeno Trunks' new found power, however before the battle can truly begin Fin - now in his Ultimate Evolution form - arrives to battle Xeno Trunks along with Towa who watches from nearby.

Urgent to find a way out, they suddenly find several chains latch on to them before being yanked out of the dark void thanks to Demigra. Demigra asks where the Key Sword is but Chronoa explains that Mechikabura had obtained it and threw it away. Nevertheless, Xeno Trunks charges in with his own sword with Demigra backing him up and slashes Mechikabura across the chest. However now capable of instant regeneration, Mechikabura heals his wound. Just then the other members of the Time Patrol and Demigra Army arrive through a rift with Xeno Goku in possession of the Key Sword.

Demigra yanks Mechikabura forward with his chains and Xeno Trunks lands another strike. However this time a large seal baring Chronoa's crest appears across Mechickabura's chest. Xeno Trunks and the others have combined all four of the power of the gods, the power of darkness, the power of light, and the power of time in order to seal Mechickabura away. Xeno Trunks strikes at him one more time, sealing him away in an "Eternal Labyrinth" while Mechikabura screams out, vowing that he will find a way to escape. Some time later, Xeno Trunks and the rest of their group unexpectedly fall into Hell through a time distortion. There they meet up once again with Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta as well as the hostile Janemba. Xeno Trunks, having transformed into Super Saiyan 3, joins the other Saiyans in attacking Janemba with a unison energy blast though Janemba withstands it unscathed. Xeno Trunks then recognizes Putine and Salsa when they arrive and confront Janemba. Xeno Trunks explains to Goku that the two are beings from the demon realm who they defeated once before. When Janemba returns to the battlefield Xeno Trunks proceeds to transform into Super Saiyan God which shocks both Goku and Vegeta. However even with this increase in power, Janemba proves to be too powerful. With little other choice, Xeno Trunks, Xeno Pan, Goku and Vegeta pool their Saiyan Power into Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta allowing them to enter into the Super Full Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker state where they go on to finish off Janemba. Then he and the others are teleported to the Crack of Time thanks to Putines magic.

Xeno Trunks & Chronoa reacting to the appearance of "the menace" within the Time Nest in World Mission

During the animated opening of World Mission, A mysterious figure with a Galactic Patrol symbol on his chest leaves the Crack of Time via a Wormhole and appears inside the Time Nest. Chronoa recognizing the figure orders Xeno Trunks to attack him to defend the Time Vault. Xeno Trunks goes Super Saiyan and attacks the intruder with his sword but the intruder effortlessly stops it using his staff before effortlessly using it to deal a counter attack Xeno Trunks that knocks him to the ground and causing him to revert to base. However fortunately the intruder retreats through the wormhole. While tending to Xeno Trunks, Chronoa notes the figure is dangerous and is apparently planning something.

The Hero Master Great Saiyaman 3

Xeno Trunks is assigned to investigate to uncover what this new menace is planning and his investigation leads him to Hero Town where he and other Dragon Ball characters are famous due to the popularity of the Super Dragon Ball Heroes card bases video game. In order to investigate without drawing too much attention, Xeno Trunks decides to follow Gohan's example and dons a high-tech Great Saiyaman Suit to disguise himself as a Super Dragon Ball Heroes player named Great Saiyaman 3. Ironically, Great Saiyaman 3 becomes a local celebrity due to his skills and cool costume, though it does not get in the way of his mission to investigate anomiles within the game world which he discovers are likely caused by the mysterious figure who invaded to Time Nest. However the game itself requires him as Great Saiyaman 3 to seek out gifted players to investigate these anomiles, so he forms the Dragon Ball Heroes team to assist in his investigation to protect Hero Town from being invaded by characters from the game world due to said anomiles. His first player he manages to recruit was Chamel, though the Dark Demon God Hero user preferred to work alone.

SDBH World Mission Ch1, Sub Ch1 - My Thrilling First Battle! Great Saiyaman 3 introduction to Beat (Dialogue Cutscene)

Great Saiyaman 3 introducing himself to Beat in World Mission

He later manages to recruit an experienced local female player named Note who like most of the locals calls him Master which is short for Hero Master a nickname given to him by the townspeople due to Great Saiyaman 3 being too long to say in casual conversation, which was shortened further to just Master. One day he notices a boy named Beat who just moved to Hero Town. He sensing something is different about him, Great Saiyaman 3 observes him as he decides to start playing Super Dragon Ball Heroes by entering an exhibition match for new players at the Hero Stadium. Despite being a novice, Beat shows great potential to the point Great Saiyaman 3 decides to challenge him to a fight even offering to give him some pointers so they can fight fairly due to Beat's relative inexperience. Beat is a quick learner and his skill improves to the point he could easily be mistaken for a pro. However before they can continue fighting, there is some commotion outside and Great Saiyaman 3 notices a powerful Ki signature and rushes off to investigate, with Beat following after him. Outside Cooler appears wondering where he is as bystanders mistakenly assume he is just a really good Cooler cosplayer.

Great Saiyaman 3 however knows it is not a cosplayer but Cooler who has come to Hero Town from the game world due to an anomaly threatening the townspeople. He asks Cooler what he is doing in Hero Town and thinks to himself it must be related to the menace that invaded to Time Nest. Cooler recognizes Great Saiyaman 3 is no mere fly like the other townspeople due to his power level and decides to fight him as he notes he has some time to kill. He demands Great Saiyaman 3 fight him at full power, stating that by some miracle he might live. However Great Saiyaman 3 is caught off guard by Cooler's power and realizes he means business. Unfortunately, Beat followed him and like the other bystanders assumes its a cosplayer before noticing something is off and wonders if it could be the real Cooler as Great Saiyaman 3 yells at him to get away. Cooler hears Best refer to him by name and notes it seems even he has heard of his name. Cooler decides to show off his power by firing a Ki Blast at Beat as Great Saiyaman 3 notes he'll wipe the floor with the kid. However the boy guards before the blast hits and survives the blast. Great Saiyaman 3 wonders if Beat had managed to cancel the attack with his ki. Before Cooler can attack Beat any further, Great Saiyaman 3 unsheathes his sword using it to block Cooler's attempt to punch Beat and like with Mecha Frieza, kills Cooler with his Burning Slash technique. Save for Beat, most of the bystanders assume it was just a show put on by Great Saiyaman 3 and a Cooler cosplayer. Great Saiyaman 3 checks on Beat who says he's fine before asking if it wasn't a show. Great Saiyaman 3 says it is not and is glad Beat understands the seriousness of the situation. Beat asks what the appearance of Cooler was all about and Great Saiyaman 3 decides to tell him the truth but asks to speak with him somewhere out of earshot as he doesn't want to cause a panic. After finding a quiet place, Great Saiyaman 3 reveals that the Cooler they just fought was real, albeit from the game world but real none the less. Beat asks if enemies from the game are appearing in the real world and Great Saiyaman 3 notes that is one way of looking at it. Beat starts to feel light-headed due to this revelation and wherever power he used to survive the fight with Cooler. Great Saiyaman 3 says that even he can't explain how Beat was able to use ki to block an enemy attack outside of the game which is something only trained fighters like himself and characters from the game world can do normally. Sensing there is something special about Beat to be able to subconsciously use his ki to defend himself in the real world, he requests Beat's help. Beat agrees but Great Saiyaman 3 tells him he will explain everything at the Hero Lab and gives him a map showing its location.

Mentor of the Dragon Ball Heroes

After Beat reaches the Hero Lab which is secretly located inside the Hero Tower and meets Great Saiyaman 3's other recruit Note who explains the history of his nickname to clear up his confusion when she calls Great Saiyaman 3, Master. Eventually Great Saiyaman 3 appears with Beat referring to him as Great Saiyaman 3 causing Note to remind him to call him Master and Great Saiyaman 3 says its okay to call him Master as he is used to it by now. Note points out he is late causing him to apologize to both of them as he reveals he was simply on the lookout for signs of the "menace" which is what he calls the mysterious figure behind the anomiles. Great Saiyaman 3 formally introduces Beat and Note to each other. Note asks Beat how long he's been playing and is shocked when he reveals he just started playing that day. Note asks her Master if he's sure about recruiting a total rookie. Great Saiyaman 3 tells her that while he is a total beginner, he's an incredibly fast learner and he'll be able to keep up. He also goes on to say that he can feel there's something special about Beat, before revealing he was able to block an enemy attack in the real world. Note in shocked disbelief asks if they are serious and Best confirms it's true though is not sure exactly how he did it. Note says he better figure it out, before noting her Master said "enemy". Great Saiyaman 3 confirms that he did and reveals that it seems his worst fears were correct and enemies from the game are appearing in the real world and that Beat saw it with his own eyes. Beat says he still can't believe it but it was definitely the real Cooler. Great Saiyaman 3 says it definitely came from the game world. He then explains to Beat what he had previously explained to Note, that something anomalous is happening in-game and that Cooler was the result of that anomaly. Beat soon realizes that the if the anomaly continues more enemies will appear. Great Saiyaman 3 reveals that eventually the game world would collapse and more deadly enemies would appear which would spell doom for the real world. Beat and Note wonder what could be responsible, causing Great Saiyaman 3 to reveal a certain someone who wants tons of power is behind the anomaly which they willingly caused in-game in order to study its data to get it. Note calls says the person doing it is a colossal pain in the butt and Beat agrees saying they can't let them abuse the game like that. Great Saiyaman 3 agrees and says they can't let the menace abuse their world, let alone the game, which is why he has assembled a team of his own, the Dragon Ball Heroes. He explains he recruited them due to their talent as it soon became clear to him that being a SDBH player by himself wasn't enough as he needs special powers, but the fight was too dangerous to involve anyone else and that he studied SDBH even harder to combat the anomaly and as a result he got very good at it leading to his "dreamboat" moniker by some of his female admirers. Unfortunately that had its limits too and the anomaly grew stronger, to the point he couldn't fight it alone. Beat wonders how he and Note can help if even someone as skilled and powerful as Great Saiyaman 3 can't stop it. He reminds them he needs special powers and that they will also have to see if Beat and Note can handle the Hero Switch.

Great Saiyaman 3 explains that the Hero Switch is a device that let's the wearer enter the game world something that even Note was unaware of. Great Saiyaman 3 says he heard about it from someone who managed to enter the game once and that he retraced their steps and figured out how to do so himself. He also notes that the Hero Lab was built based on the data from that journey. He then hands them their Hero Switches which are bracelet-like devices they wear on their wrist. Just as Great Saiyaman 3 predicted, Beat and Note are compatible, otherwise they wouldn't be able to use it. Beat asks if he can meet the real Goku if he uses it to enter the game world which Great Saiyaman 3 confirms though points out it would be the Goku of the game world. Note gets pumped by the prospect of meeting characters in-game before Great Saiyaman 3 warns them not to get too excited as doing so will be dangerous due to the anomaly and the fact they will be physically entering the game world. Beat notes that while he really wants to meet Goku, he also wants to stop the menace from messing up the game as everyone deserves to play it and have fun, which Note agrees with calling it unforgivable and that she'll kick their butts. Great Saiyaman 3 then dubs their team the "Dragon Ball Heroes" which Beat thinks sounds cool while Note says it's not bad. Beat calling him Hero Master, says they won't let him down. Great Saiyaman 3 however says there is no need to be so serious though with that said he promises not to let them down either as their mentor and leader. Beat however tries to point out he's their leader, but Great Saiyaman 3 points that while he is their master, titles don't matter as he's their ally now. Great Saiyaman 3 then tells Beat he had something for him, pointing out Note's yellow jacket which he explains is the Dragon Ball Heroes team uniform. Beat says he was just thinking about how cool it looks. Great Saiyaman 3 hands him a red version of the Team Uniform and tells him to try it on. Beat does so before asking how it looks with Note saying it's not to shabby while Great Saiyaman 3 says it fits like a glove and looks good to boot. Great Saiyaman 3 says that takes care of all the "housekeeping" they can turn their attention to dealing with the anomaly. He says he hates to throw them into the deep end, but they have to start addressing the menace right away. Note says they will, but says she and Beat have a score to settle first but Beat doesn't know what she's talking about. Note explains she wants to take him on in a SDBH battle. Great Saiyaman 3 asks her if it can wait, but she says it can't and that its now or never as they have to face each other so they know their strengths and weaknesses. Beat agrees to her challenge before apologizing to Great Saiyaman 3 saying he can't turn down her challenge. Note says she knew he see it her way. However Great Saiyaman 3 says that if they're so intent on fighting then why not do so in-game as it will give them a chance to learn how to use the Hero Switch effectively killing two birds with one stone as it will allow them to fight and learn how to use the Hero Switch. Great Saiyaman 3 decides to take the fight to a period in-game that's not in imminent danger, specifically the period after Raditz's defeat when everyone was training to prepare for the arrival of Vegeta and Nappa, pointing out no one should bother them there. He tells them to prepare their Hero Switches as they are off on their first adventure within the game world. Before they leave, Note suggests Beat go learn some basics from the robot Lulu. After Beat is ready, he and Note enter the game with Great Saiyaman 3 staying behind at the lab to monitor them and to be on hand protect Hero Town should another character escape into the real world.

The World of Super Dragon Ball Heroes

Great Saiyaman 3 has Note and Beat transported to Gizard Wasteland before it became the battlefield where Goku fought Vegeta for the first time. Beat and Note find themselves transformed into their chosen Hero Avatars (Beat's previously chosen by the player though the default selection is the Hero Type Male Saiyan) with Note's being revealed to be a Hero Type Female Saiyan.

As the two admire their surroundings, Great Saiyaman 3 contacts them asking if they can hear him. Beat says they can hear him loud and clear before wondering where he is. He explains he won't be entering the game world this time and will keep in touch over the transmitter. Note then asks what is going on with their new looks. Great Saiyaman 3 reveals that it is the work of the Hero Switch as it alters their appearance in the game world allowing them to take on the form and race of their Hero Avatar. Beat notes that it is cool and Great Saiyaman 3 asks Note if she likes it too, and she agrees saying she feels totally different. The Hero Master says he's glad to here it before asking what they think of the game world. Beat says it looks exactly like the real world and Note agrees adding she can smell the dirt and feel the breeze. Great Saiyaman 3 however is surprised by this noting it's not supposed to be THAT realistic before noting that if they have time to think about stuff like that, he guess it means they're handling the Hero Switch a lot better than he thought they'd be. He then suggests they start their battle, as the menace could show up at any moment. Beat is ready to get to fighting and asks Note if she's okay. She reveals she's glad they came to Gizard Wasteland first. Beat asks if it's her favorite spot or something, and Note points out that this is where it all started for Goku and the gang. Beat says that it's true as they did go to Namek and beyond after the conflict with the Saiyans. Note then boldly declares her journey to become the strongest SDBH player will start there as well. Beat however counters that it will be him as the two Dragon Ball Heroes prepare to battle each other for the first time.

Beat VS Note

From the Hero Lab, Great Saiyaman 3 watches as Beat and Note square off for the first time in Gizard Wasteland during the period the Dragon Team was training to confront the Saiyan invasion by Vegeta and Nappa after the death of Raditz.

Beat manages to defeat Note's deck (which ironically features a Xeno Trunks card as she is unaware of the Hero Master is the real Xeno Trunks ) but she rallies and attacks him physically. Great Saiyaman 3 comments on it saying that it is so like her to rally like that after losing. With their first fight acting as a warm up, Note ups her game to complete with Beat's skill level. However Beat once again pulls off a victory and Great Saiyaman 3 declares him the winner. Note concedes defeat having enjoyed their match and agrees to fight him again sometime, though sighs to herself for having to do so before declaring next time will be different but Beat says he'll win next time too. Note dismisses it as just more big talk and says that at least they now know where each other's true powers lie they can focus on their mission to correct the anomaly and fight the menace threatening both the real and game worlds.

However Note starts to feel pain from the fight as she is not used to fighting physically in-game and says she didn't know they could get hurt in-game. Beat apologizes and asks if she's okay. She says she's fine and that its the result of her challenging him. She says he's looking pretty "beat" up too. Beat agrees and guesses he was too amped up on adrenaline to notice. However he is in better shape compared to Note presumably due to his innate ability to use ki as Note is just a skilled SDBH unaccustomed to actually physical battles. Great Saiyaman 3 congratulates them on their good work noting they've bonded more as a team and it seems they've also learned how to use the Hero Switch, thus they are ready to face the menace as a team. He tells them to come back to the lab.

An Anomaly?! The Saiyans Strike!!

The Dragon Ball Heroes team begins its investigation by checking areas for any signs of the anomaly starting with Gizard Wasteland. Great Saiyaman 3 says the area looks clean and is about to direct them to another location. Note asks if they can hang around a bit longer and Beat agrees saying they'll never know who they might run into, causing Great Saiyaman 3 to remind them of their mission. He explains he understands how they feel but the mission takes priority. Note realizes he's right and that they should stay on track. Beat apologizes for forgetting their mission, though Great Saiyaman 3 understands as being SDBH players inside the game world it is only natural for them to be excited. He also says this fight of theirs is no cakewalk so letting off steam from time to time is important. As he asks them to use the Hero Switch to exit the game world, suddenly dark clouds appear in the sky which Beat and Note take notice of. Great Saiyaman 3 demands a report of what they are seeing and Beat describes the appearance of the clouds which Great Saiyaman 3 realizes means Shenron has been summoned to revive Goku earlier than expected. Suddenly Vegeta and Nappa appear which Great Saiyaman 3 notes is not good and Beat agrees saying it is way too early for them to show up and that it must be the anomiles at work like their master was talking about. Great Saiyaman 3 confirms this is the case and explains that there's been a string of impossible events occuring throughout the game world such as Nappa and Vegeta's early arrival noting its almost as if history is being rewritten. He says he expected some curve balls, but not this early and is about to say things couldn't get any worse, before he is interrupted by Beat who says it gets worse as he and Note see that Raditz is still alive and teamed up with fellow Saiyan survivor Turles who join Nappa and Vegeta's invasion of Earth. All four Saiyans are unimpressed by Beat and Note mocking them as mere children. Great Saiyaman 3 is surprised by their appearance noting they aren't even supposed to come to this location ever. Note points out that aside from Turles, Raditz should be six feet under as the time period is after he was killed by the Full Nelson Special Beam Cannon. Raditz scoffs at the idea of being killed, though admits that the Namekian (referring to Piccolo) snuck in a lucky shot but that it wasn't enough to take him out revealing he survived in the anomaly altered game timeline. Vegeta calls Raditz a fool and says his orders where to bring Kakarot into the fold, pointing out not only did he fail but that he was completely thrashed and sent running with his tail between his legs, asking how he can call himself a Saiyan after such a display. Nappa calling Raditz a weakling says he wasn't up to the task, causing Raditz to growl at him. Turles however calms everyone down noting it's not often they have a Saiyan reunion and to try and keep things light.

Meanwhile, as they prepare to fight Beat says though it might not be the right time, he can't help but be starstruck at getting the chance to meet the real Vegeta in person. Note however is quick to remind him that the punch they pack is real at least in the context of the game world. Beat is pumped up as he's been wanting to meet them forever and Note agrees even asking if he thinks they'll sign her shirt. Great Saiyaman 3 however is quick to remind both of them this is no time for a fan frenzy and that they have an anomaly to fix, ordering them to get to socking the four Saiyans as Goku and company haven't arrived yet. Beat and Note agree and prepare to face the four Saiyans in battle.

Vegeta is surprised that the two who he calls "milksops" would choose to fight in Kakarot's place. Nappa agrees retorting that being in grade school's not gonna stop them from stomping them. Raditz says he will make no mistakes this time and that they'll see how strong he is. Turles tells them to prepare to witness Saiyan might, noting that unfortunately for them, this demonstration will be lethal, that is unless they wish to join them in their invasion of Earth (presumably due Beat's default Avatar and Note's Avatar being Saiyans). Beat says thanks but no thanks, as their there to beat them. Vegeta notes there will be a beating though they won't be the recipients while Nappa simply notes what is wrong with kids these days. Vegeta says he was thinking about annihilating them one by one, but decides to expedite things by doing their worst to the pair all at once.

Great Saiyaman 3 tells them they should have a pretty good idea of each other's strengths from the last fight and to apply that knowledge now, using teamwork.

During the battle that follows, either Beat or Note can be selected with Beat's deck and Avatar being customizable while Note's deck is preset and balanced. Regardless of who is selected, they manage to defeat Nappa, Raditz, and Turles. Great Saiyaman 3 complements their teamwork and says they should focus on defeating the last remaining Saiyan Vegeta. Vegeta notes he obviously have his fellow Saiyans who he calls twits too much credit noting how pathetic they were to be bested by mere juveniles. Beat notices Vegeta still seems to think he's still going to win. Note points out he's far fr unscathed and that they should keep piling on the pressure. Vegeta asks them if they honestly think that this is his best. Beat however thinks it is causing Vegeta to reveal he has been intentionally holding back noting they are nothing but playthings to stave off boredom until Kakarot arrives. However he laments it seems Kakarot is a no show which means he has no further use for them.

Great Saiyaman 3 notes the two are going to get flash-fried if he doesn't step in and I'd about to enter the game himself, but suddenly hears a familiar voice telling Vegeta to stop right there.

Suddenly, Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu appear to join the two Dragon Ball Heroes in confronting the Saiyan Prince. Goku asks if he missed much as Vegeta turns his attention to Goku and the Dragon Team. Great Saiyaman 3 is relieved by the appearance of Goku and notes he had brought the cavalry with him referring to the rest of the Dragon Team which he notes was certainly another unexpected twist. He concludes it is a side effect of the anomaly though at least this time it works in their favor.

Beat and Note are star struck to finally meet Goku and the Z Warriors (which is what Beat calls the Dragon Team in the English localization), while Note says she can hardly believe what she is seeing. Goku guesses that the pair held down the fort for them which Beat confirms. Goku also points out that they defeated Raditz whom he reveals had escaped from him and Piccolo, though Note says it wasn't easy. Goku says they owe them one and Piccolo says not bad for a couple of kids, while Yamcha says they weren't expecting help but are sure happy to have it. Goku tells everyone to fall in so they can make up for lost time and asks if Vegeta is ready to fight. Vegeta sees Goku had assembled his ragtag group but notes that against an elite Saiyan Warrior, he'll regret not bringing an entire army. Goku says they'll see about that and to try taking them on. Krillin joins in saying they've been training to rearrange his ugly mug and that their stronger than he thinks. Vegeta however laughs and says strength and confidence are not always the same thing and to see if they can flap their guns after witnessing his transformation. Note wonders if this is where he transforms into a Great Ape and Beat confirms it should be and that he really does not want to fight that thing. Vegeta says they should consider themselves lucky for they are about to see the Saiyan Prince's true form.

However instead of creating a Power Ball, Vegeta powers up and transforms from base all the way to Super Saiyan 3. Beat points out he went Super Saiyan with Note adding he went all the way up to 3. Great Saiyaman 3 says it doesn't make sense as he shouldn't even be able to achieve Super Saiyan 1 let alone Super Saiyan 3. He says this Vegeta looks to have powered up far beyond his normal state to have achieved that level of power. Goku unaccustomed to any of the Super Saiyan forms due to the time period notes Vegeta is really strong. Vegeta points out their surprise and that they should be as he has transcended Saiyan kind and declares he is a Super Saiyan. Goku is confused as he never heard of a Super Saiyan, and Vegeta says he's technically transcended even Super Saiyan indicating he is aware there are lesser forms, but says that dead men like Kakarot and his friends don't need to concern themselves with particulars.

Goku admits he's right as he had no idea Vegeta would be that strong. Vegeta asks if he now understands the folly of his arrogance for challenging Vegeta, the supreme wielder of Super Saiyan strength as Vegeta dubs himself due to having transcended to his current level, before declaring it is now time for Kakarot to die. Great Saiyaman 3 points out Vegeta is bent on rampaging and notes that's Vegeta for you. He apologizes and says he will need more time to reach them, though luckily they have each other and the Dragon Team to rely on, telling them that if they work together he knows they'll win and that he is counting on them to defeat Super Saiyan 3 Prince Vegeta and correct the anomaly.

Like Great Saiyaman 3 predicted, Beat and Note managed to defeat Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta who is forced to retreat. Beat is quick to celebrate their defeat of Vegeta and Note calls their teamwork slick. Goku notes though they may be pint-sized, their power sure isn't and thanks them for their help.

After the battle, the Dragon Team thank Beat and Note for their help. Beat says the pleasure is all theirs and always wanted to fight alongside then while Note says it was an real honor. Goku says Beat showed some next level moves out there and asks to spar some time which Beat eagerly agrees to. Great Saiyaman 3 tells the team it was a nice hustle and that the anomaly that caused it has been resolved. He says he hates to pull them away from their idols, but he needs them back topside in the real world. Beat and Note bid the Dragon Team farwell and Goku says he'll see them around, as Gohan thanks them for their help.

Back at the Hero Lab, Great Saiyaman 3 congratulates them on a job well done and is glad they made it back in one piece considering they survived a battle with an evil Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta. Beat agrees saying there were times he thought they wouldn't, though Note points out they did and that's what counts. Great Saiyaman 3 says they did more than that, as they adapted to some tough changes and came out on top and notes he knew he saw something special in the two. Beat says he's too kind and points out it was Goku and friends that saved the day. Note says she's not proud to admit it but Beat is right as they'd have been goners if it wasn't for them. Great Saiyaman 3 says be as it may, a victory is still a victory and is sure they will flush out the menace behind everything soon enough.

"Pivoting Power Poles! Raditz went Super Saiyan!"
— Great Saiyaman 3's reaction to the Anomalous Super Saiyan 3 Raditz in World Mission
SDBH World Mission Ch2, Sub Ch1 - An Anomaly?! The Saiyans Strike! (Extra Dimensional Space - Age 762) Great Saiyaman 3's reaction to Anomalous Super Saiyan 3 Raditz (2-Star Normal Battle - Up Against the Limit! Super Saiyan!)

The Hero Master's reaction to Raditz's Anomalous Super Saiyan 3 form in World Mission

Afterwards Beat and Note can investigate the extra dimensional space that leads further into the anomaly, allowing them and the Dragon Team to finish the fight with Vegeta, as well as Nappa and Raditz who survive due to the anomaly and like Vegeta acquire Super Saiyan 3. Eventually they defeat Super Saiyan 3 Nappa and weaken Raditz and Vegeta to the point they revert back to base. However Vegeta creates a Power Ball allowing Raditz to transform into a Great Ape and Vegeta transforms into his Great Ape form in battle if it doesn't end at the first round. Ultimately they manage to defeat Great Ape Raditz, Great Ape Vegeta, and their army or Saibamen completely resolving the anomaly in Gizard Wasteland.

After Goku and Krillin leave, Great Saiyaman 3 tells Beat and Note they aren't dreaming as the Saiyan Prince had been truly ousted. He admits that he honestly didn't think they'd make it out and thanks them for subverting his expectations. He says they are much more talented than he thought and he can't wait to see what other surprises they have in store. Note says there will be more and just to wait. Meanwhile Great Saiyaman 3 notes something about the extra anomaly is bugging him, as when the sky went black the Saiyans got back up. He had a hunch that the game world itself is being altered and if he's right then the anomaly that needs there attention most lies elsewhere.

Secret Battle Tournament
"Hey there, Beat! You've done great to make it this far! Well, facing off against a powerful opponent makes for good research, so I made something of an arrangement with Moden."
— Great Saiyaman 3 reveals his arrangement with Moden to Beat in World Mission

At the Hero Stadium, Beat can partake in SDBH Tournaments and according to rumor he overhears from Moden those that win the S Rank Tournament can partake in special battles. After Beat wins the S Rank Tournament for the first time, it unlocks Secret Battle option. During Secret Battle, Beat finds himself up against none other than the Hero Master who says he did great to make it this far. Beat asks him what he he is doing there and the Hero Master explains that facing off against powerful SDBH opponents makes for good research so he made arrangements with Moden resulting in the Secret Battle option where S Rank Tournament Champions can face off against the Hero Master in a one-on-one SDBH Match.

"You got it! Things got kind of cut short last time, so let's make this a real fight!"
— The Hero Master ready to fight Beat in a proper SDBH battle in World Mission

Beat asks if he's fighting the Hero Master and Great Saiyaman 3 confirms it saying things got cut short last time so they should make this battle proper fight. Beat tells the Hero Master to brace himself as Beat won't be holding back.

During Secret Battle, Beat will face off against the Hero Master's Great Saiyaman 3 Avatar and his deck. With the exception of the Great Saiyaman 3 Avatar, all of the Hero Master's other cards are random each time. Defeating Great Saiyaman 3 for the first time rewards Beat with a Tera Rarity Tournament of Power Module for his Super Hero Robo, 3 Gacha Ticket (Rare), and 100,000 Zeni.

"Well done, Beat! I'll have to do better next time!"
— The Hero Master congratulates Beat on his win in World Mission

After defeating Great Saiyaman 3, he will congratulate Beat for defeating him and admits he'll have to do better next time. After defeating the Hero Master, Beat can take him on again for the chance to win 200,000 Zeni, one 3x EXP Item Capsule, and 3 Gacha Ticket (Rare), as well as a chance to win another Tournament of Power Module. However Great Saiyaman 3's deck changes each time (save for his Great Saiyaman 3 Avatar). Additionally after beating the Hero Master, Moden will reveal to Beat that she secretly has an outfit like the Hero Master's hanging up in her house indicating she is a huge fan of his).

Xeno Trunks in Xenoverse

Xeno Trunks is a major character in the story of Xenoverse, he works for Chronoa, the Supreme Kai of Time, as her assistant and the head of the Time Patrol, he and the Time Patrol are based in Toki Toki City (in Age 850) which houses the Time Storage Vault. Due the events that happened during the Android Saga, Trunks had to atone for his sin of changing time, thus joining the Time Patrol. Due to the main timeline's history being distorted, Trunks wished for a strong warrior to help him in fixing the timeline, resulting in the Future Warrior being summoned to Toki Toki City. His character comes from Dragon Ball Online, while working for Chronoa as her assistant and field leader of the Time Patroller.

In Xenoverse, it is revealed that he became Chronoa's assistant after she confronted him about his crime of using his mother's Time Machine to change history, though Chronoa reveals to the Future Warrior that it wasn't a crime at that point as Trunks' use of the Time Machine was the first time distortion in the history of Universe 7 and that she really needed an assistant so she tricked Trunks into working for her by claiming it was to atone for his sin of using the Time Machine, but she didn't realize that Trunks would take her words so seriously and as a result tells the Warrior to keep it a secret from Trunks as he has proven himself to be a hard worker. Though she tricked Trunks into working for her, Chronoa understands Trunks' reasons for altering history were noble and allowed his alternations to history and the alternate timelines created by them to remain as history turned out for the better because of it, though forbids Trunks from physically taking part in correcting the past of timelines such as his own or ones where his time traveling past self is present do to the potential dangers involved, except in certain cases (such as his past self not being present).

As a result, Trunks acts as the Future Warrior mission controller, communicating with them from the Time Nest though occasionally joins them in the field such as during the fight with Mira in a wasteland during the Cell Games, as Mira and Towa originate from a different timeline and as a result fighting them will not effect history. However, as a result of his interference, Towa attempts to erase Trunks from history by empowering the Future Androids to kill his past self in both Age 783 and Age 785, causing Trunks' existence to become ephemeral putting Trunks in danger of being erased completely (which would also potentially threaten the Warrior's existence as his wish resulted in the Warrior being summoned and recruited in the first place). However, the Warrior manages to save Future Trunks from Future #17 and Future #18, but Towa arrives to reveal the second change and to mock them at being unable to save Future Trunks in time. Fortunately, a mysterious man appears and offers to assist the warrior in traveling to the change who accepts as it is the only way to save Trunks and his past self.

In Age 785 of Trunks' timeline, the Warrior finds Future Trunks being confronted by Future Cell who had attained his perfect form thanks to Towa granting him power with Dark Magic. However, the Future Warrior arrives to assist Future Trunks in defeating and killing the evil Bio-Android resulting in the deaths of Future 17 and Future 18 as well, bringing peace to Trunks' timeline. Future Trunks thanks the Warrior for saving them again and asks who they are, but the Warrior gives him a cryptic answer that he will know someday before returning to the Time Nest. Trunks thanks the Warrior for rescuing his past self. Trunks and the Warrior later learn that the Demon God Demigra was the mysterious stranger who aided the Warrior back then, and Demigra attempts to kill Trunks, the Warrior, and Chronoa with his Majin Emblem, which fails thanks to Chronoa's quick intervention. Chronoa later reveals that 75 Million years ago, Demigra tried to steal the divine bird Tokitoki and take over the Time Nest but she defeated and sealed him away in the Crack of Time. Trunks tries to attack Demigra but he is revealed to be a mirage created by Demigra which reveals to Chronoa that Demigra is still imprisoned within the Crack of Time, though the seal is breaking due to Towa and Mira's alterations to history. After the Warrior manages to defeat Kid Buu, Trunks assumes that Demigra has given up, only for his mirage to appear and angrily declare he has not spent 75 million years waiting just to give up, then travels to Age 778 using its Time Scroll, which Chronoa is horrified by as she knows it is the year that the God of Destruction Beerus went to Earth. Unaware of who Beerus is, Trunks asks her if that is a bad thing and Chronoa angrily refers to Beerus as the "freaking God of Destruction" to express the danger of the situation and that they stop Demigra or history could be destroyed.

Trunks observes his father Vegeta's desperate attempts to keep Beerus happy, but Demigra foils his efforts from afar and attempts to gain control over Beerus. The Warrior fights alongside Majin Buu against Beerus. Trunks watches as Bulma is knocked back by the fight causing his father to become stronger through his Super Saiyan 2 (Enraged) and even cheers on his father. He eventually witnesses Goku become a Super Saiyan God. However it soon appears as if Demigra manages to take control of Beerus and appears to gloat before Goku and the Future Warrior, only to be attacked by Beerus with his Sphere of Destruction, revealing that Beerus was only pretending to lure Demigra out to destroy him for daring to try to control a God. After Beerus and the Future Warrior manage to defeat Demigra's Mirage, Trunks is surprised to see Whis and Beerus had followed the Warrior back to the Time Nest as Beerus wishes to inquire about Demigra's whereabouts so he can destroy him. Chronoa attempts to dissuade him due to the potential destruction he could cause. Beerus decides to give the Time Patrol a chance if Trunks and the Future Warrior manage to defeat Beerus and Whis in a sparring match. They agree and manage to defeat Whis and Beerus (though it is strongly implied that neither Beerus or Whis was fighting with their full power), so Beerus decides to leave Demigra's defeat up to the Time Patrol. Soon Demigra comes up with a new plan and uses the Dragon Balls to revive Frieza, Cell, and Kid Buu whom he places under his control and sends them to attack West City in Age 778. The Future Warrior heads out to stop them, while Trunks stays behind to protect Tokitoki and monitor the situation from the Time Nest, as Chronoa uses Toki Toki City's set of Dragon Balls to inform Goku of the situation. Together with Goku's assistance, the Future Warrior manages to defeat the villains, though they are soon confronted by a possessed Vegeta, Gohan, and Gotenks, though they manage to free them.

However while the Future Warrior is away, Demigra escapes the Crack of Time and attacks Toki Toki City and absorbs Tokitoki granting him power over time and space. Demigra uses his power to possess Trunks whom he commands to attack the Future Warrior when they return to Age 850. However Trunks resists Demigra's control mentally and tells the Warrior to keep on hitting him as it is the only way to free his body from Demigra's Control. Eventually the Warrior defeats Trunks Trunks, but Demigra decides to take control of the Warrior instead, but Trunks distracts the Demon God by attacking with what is left of his strength, giving Chronoa time to dispel Demigra's Dark Magic before the Warrior is taken over completely. Goku soon arrives using Instant Transmission and confronts Demigra alongside the Future Warrior. Demigra is unable to control Goku due to him having previously obtained the Super Saiyan God form and is defeated. However Demigra refuses to admit defeat and flees. Goku tells everyone to grab on to him as he uses Instant Transmission to transport them to where Demigra fled to and find themselves inside the Time Vault. Trunks collapses from his injuries, leaving it up to Goku and the Future Warrior to stop Demigra, who planned to destroy the Time Vault and ride out the destruction of the Universe within the Crack of Time. Ultimately Demigra is defeated and Tokitoki is saved, while Chronoa uses her healing powers to heal Trunks' injuries. After Demigra's defeat, Trunks and his partner the Future Warrior continue to defend history as members of the Time Patrol and deal with new threats to history caused by Demigra's Wormholes which he created before his death in the Crack of Time. During the Legendary Super Saiyan Saga, Trunks aids the Warrior by searching through the Time Scrolls to find out where the Wormholes have been appearing and manages to track down the time displaced Bardock and Broly on Dying Namek in Age 762.

After the Future Warrior, Great Ape Bardock, and Vegeta manage to defeat Broly on Earth after being transported there by Dende's wish to Porunga, Trunks arrives and knocks out Vegeta with a Pressure Point Attack to keep his father from asking too many questions. He tells the Warrior he will deal with returning Bardock and Broly to their proper timelines. During the conflict in the GT Timeline, Trunks witnesses his counterpart being infected by Baby's Tuffle parasites and is disgusted by his infected counterpart's attempts to trick Pan and the Warrior. However he later comes to respect his counterpart when he confronts the Nappa and the Neo Ginyu Force in place of his father and even shows concern for him when he is blasted away by Hell Fighter 17. Prologue

It is revealed that Trunks and his partner the Toki Toki City Hero have been busy searching for the whereabouts of Towa and Mira who have returned following their defeat during the Demigra Incident and gone back to altering history, recruiting various villains such as Turles, Lord Slug, and Cooler to aid them in altering history.

The Saiyan Threat Saga

During the Attack of the Saiyans on Earth in Age 762, as Goku and the Future Warrior struggle against Turles, they are contacted by Trunks who reveals his partner is en route to their location to provide back-up. Trunks contacts him to inform he is on his way to his location, determined not to let Slug escape like Turles did previously. Chronoa tells him to hurry as this all seems wrong. Trunks arrives forcing Lord Slug to flee with Trunks in hot pursuit.

The Ginyu Force Strikes Saga

Later during the battle with the Ginyu Force, Trunks decides to follow Ginyu while the 2nd Future Warrior focuses on fighting the Dark Magic enhanced Ginyu Force and interference from Turles. However, Ginyu was actually bait to lure Trunks into trap and has his body stolen by Ginyu, unintentionally altering history, forcing Trunks in Ginyu's body to fight alongside Goku and the warrior to regain his original body, which leads to Turles aiding Ginyu in stealing Goku's body though the timeline is eventually restored. Chronoa admonishes Trunks for falling for such a trap as it almost ruined history and he promises to be careful in the future.

The Galactic Emperor Saga

Later when Towa and Mira appear while the Future Warrior is fighting with Turles and Lord Slug, Trunks arrives to aid the current him and tells his partner, the Toki Toki City Hero to go after Mira. Turles and Lord Slug try to kill the two with a combined energy wave, but Trunks counters with a Burning Attack while the Future Warrior counters with an energy wave which merge into a combined energy wave that overpowers Turles and Slug's combined energy wave, seemingly destroying them. After the battle, Trunks decides to go after Mira while the Future Warrior aids Gohan and the others in combating Frieza.

After the Future Warrior defeats Frieza and his brother Cooler, he goes to aid Trunks in fighting Mira. However, they find Trunks exhausted and injured. While the Future Warrior tends to the injured, Trunks tells his partner, the Toki Toki City Hero, to continue to chase after Mira after he flees.

Android Warfare Saga

Later, Trunks and Elder Kai observe an altered history of Age 767 where Imperfect Cell manages to absorb Android 17 and 18 together, causing him to transform into his perfect form and bypass his Semi-Perfect form. Trunks explains to a confused Elder Kai that this could potentially result in the Cell Games never occurring. Chronoa suggests that Trunks guide the Future Warrior for this mission as he is very familiar with that period of history.

He watches as the Future Warrior confronts Dark Android 17 alongside Piccolo, indicating that there were further changes to the timeline than they were aware of and warns that Cell would become even more powerful if he were to absorb Dark 17, ordering them to dispel the enchantment before Cell arrives. However, they manage to hold off Android 17 long enough for Imperfect Cell to appear and defeat Piccolo, forcing Android 16 to join the fight. However, Trunks notices that Cell is stronger than 16 due to Towa empowering him with Dark Magic. Eventually, the timeline is restored when Cell absorbs Android 17 as he had in the original timeline.

Later Trunks discovers that Mira is planning to join the Cell Games and decides to join the Future Warrior in confronting him. They manage to stop Mira from interfering with Goku and Cell's fight at the Cell Games. However, Towa soon appears and it is revealed that Mira was just stalling for time to allow Towa to enact her plan, before leaving with Mira. Trunks tells the Future Warrior that they will have to continue on alone due to the presence of his past self at the Cell Games. When Towa reveals that she created a Wormhole connecting Earth to New Namek, causing Metal Coolers to appear, Trunks heads to New Namek ahead of the Future Warrior and infiltrates the Big Gete Star and programs a self-destruct sequence into the central computer.

Trunks arrives to aid the Future Warrior in confronting the remaining Metal Coolers. When Metal Cooler mocks him for jumping into the fight, Trunks reveals that he did not just dive in headfirst without a plan and reveals how he reprogrammed the central computer to the bewilderment of Metal Cooler. The Big Gete Star self-destructs, killing Cooler in the process, causing the remaining Metal Coolers to break down and self-destruct. Trunks then destroys the Wormhole to prevent any further problems and tells the Future Warrior to return to the Age 767 of the main timeline to check on Gohan and the others.

A Desperate Future Saga

Later, Trunks is shown viewing the Time Scroll for Age 780 of his timeline where he witnesses Future Gohan's final battle with Future Androids 17 and 18, as well as his teenage self's first Super Saiyan transformation after finding Future Gohan's dead body. Elder Kai notes that he does not approve of the construction of Time Machines in reference which Trunks agrees with fully aware of the ramifications of his crime despite his good intentions. Suddenly a history change occurs in the scroll for Age 780 and Chronoa asks Trunks if he understands the danger of a history change in his past forces him to remain in the Time Nest and he confirms he understands after having experienced his own existence become ephemeral after Towa's previous two pronged attack on his timeline. He hands the scroll to the Future Warrior entrusting them with preventing his past from being altered as he had done with his partner during Towa's previous attempts to alter his past.

The Future Warrior arrives in Age 780 to find Future Gohan being confronted by Future Android 16 whom Trunks notes should not even exist in the first place, he instructs them that they must protect his mentor Future Gohan, despite painfully knowing that Future Gohan is fated to die during his battle with Future 17 and 18 which is the event Future 16 has been sent to alter by killing Future Gohan before it happens. Not wishing to see his mentor and fellow Time Patroller die, Trunks travels to Age 780 in defiance of Chronoa. Super Saiyan Trunks fires a Burning Attack to announce his presence to Mira and says that he will not have his way. Future Gohan is surprised to see Trunks but realises that he is not the same Trunks he knows. Chronoa pleads to Trunks that he cannot do this as it could potentially alter his own history. Trunks however states he cannot abandon Future Gohan in a situation like this, causing Chronoa to admonish himfor his stubbornness. Together with Future Gohan and the Future Warrior, Trunks manages to overpower Mira who is surprised by his inability to defeat them, declaring himself the strongest, causing Trunks to declare that he will not let him kill Future Gohan, before Mira retreats.

After the battle, Future Gohan concludes that Trunks came from the future using his mother's Time Machine then turns his attention to the remaining Future Androids 17 and 18. Trunks is conflicted by emotions as a result of his reunion with Future Gohan and offers to join Future Gohan in fighting the Androids, despite knowing that doing so would change the course of history. Chronoa is quick to remind Trunks of the ramifications. Trunks is reluctant to leave Future Gohan to his fate torn between his desire to save his master and his Time Patrol duties, forcing her to order the Warrior to stop him. However, Future Gohan realizes his fate from Trunks reaction and also concludes by the grown up Future Trunks' presence means that the future is safe and that his fight against the androids in Age 780 has a real purpose, which is good enough for him. Future Gohan states it was nice seeing him and prepares to leave to face the Androids, Trunks tries to stop him, only for the Future Warrior to intervene as Chronoa had instructed. Bidding farewell to Trunks, Future Gohan flies off to heroically confront his destiny. Trunks and the Future Warrior return to Age 852 and Chronoa thanks the warrior for stopping Trunks and he apologizes for being careless. Chronoa and Elder Kai decide to give Trunks time to recover from his emotional and heartbreaking reunion with Future Gohan and handle things on their own for a little while.

Later, Trunks apologizes to Chronoa and the Future Warrior for the position he put them in and thanks them for stopping him from altering history. Elder Kai and Chronoa comment on allowing Trunks reunion with Future Gohan remain a part of Future Trunks' timeline as Future Gohan willingly chose to accept his fate and heroically died fighting the Androids as he had in the original history.

Decisive Battle with Majin Buu Saga

During the battle with Majin Buu in Age 774, Trunks witnesses his father's relapse into villainy as Majin Vegeta. Trunks is taken aback by how far his father was willing to go in order to settle his rivalry with Goku. After Vegeta sacrifices himself in an attempt to stop Buu and the Future Warrior returns to the Time Nest, Elder Kai states it must have been hard seeing his father like that, though Trunks being aware of his father's villainous past and prideful personality is not too surprised ando admits he is fine and proud that he is Vegeta's son.

Trunks next task is fixing the altered history with Janemba and goes to Hell where he is confronted by Dark Super Janemba and a mysterious Masked Saiyan but their power is too much for him. The Future Warrior arrives to find Trunks severely injured and returns to the Time Nest to recover from the battle where Chornoa says that he is in stable condition though she decides it is best to let him rest and recuperate. After the Future Warrior fixes history and are celebrating their success, Chronoa informs them that Trunks has fully recovered and is awake. Trunks informs everyone about the Masked Saiyan he encountered in Hell.

God of Destruction's Anger Saga

In Age 778 when the Masked Saiyan appears during the fight between the Future Warrior, Goku and Beerus, Trunks recognises him as none other than Goku's father Bardock. Trunk is tasked with disposing of the pudding Chronoa made for Beerus much to his displeasure as he only recently managed to convince Chronoa that he prefers convenience store take-out over home cooked meals to get out of having to suffer through another of her horrible meals.

The Emperor's Return Saga

Eventually Chronoa and Elder Kai discover their has been a history change in Age 779 during Frieza's revenge. When Trunks questions just how strong Frieza could be due to being unaware of how strong Frieza had become after his resurrection, Elder Kai admonishes him for his ignorance stating that after his training, Frieza would not be killed so easily with a sword this time. Trunks notices strange interference with the Time Nest's communications system which he attributes to Golden Frieza's immense power which he himself is astonished by.

Before Earth was destroyed, Trunks manages to arrive in the nick of time to save the Future Warrior by bringing them back to Age 852. Trunks reveals the interference in communications was caused by Towa hacking the Time Nest's communications system and altering her voice to make herself sound like Chronoa in order to deceive Beerus and Whis in leaving Age 779 preventing them from assisting Goku and the others as in the original history.

The Masked Saiyan Saga

Hoping to get ahead of them for once, Trunks remembers Bardock and concludes that Towa and Mira must be manipulating him. Trunks decides to investigate the Genocide of the Saiyans in Age 737 in the hopes it may lead them to discover what happened to Bardock. In Age 737, Frieza attacks Planet Vegeta and Bardock with his Supernova. However, they observe Towa create a wormhole that saves Bardock from death. Trunks and the Future Warrior follow Towa and Mira's past selves to a ruined planet in an unknown timeline in Age ???. Trunks recognizes the planet as Earth before wondering which timeline they are in. However, before they can ponder this further Towa appears. Trunks attacks her only for his punch to be blocked by the Masked Saiyan. Trunks realize this Towa as the one who has been altering history and not her past self whom they had been chasing. Mira appears and joins the Masked Saiyan to confront the two Time Patrollers.

Towa creates a wormhole to a inescapable Time Rift which she attempts to use to dispose of Trunks and the Future Warrior. However they are knocked out of the wormhole by a ki blast from the now freed Bardock. Bardock tells Mira never to underestimate a Saiyan's Power before pulling himself and Mira into the wormhole Towa created. Towa is devastated and angered by the loss of Mira and reveals her ace in the hole, the Masked Future Warrior, Trunks brainwashed partner. This revelation causes Trunks to realize that she used knowledge obtained from his captured and brainwashed partner to hack into the Time Nest's communications in Age 852 as well as explaining why they hadn't been able to contact his partner. However despite enchanting the Masked Future Warrior with the Supervillain power-up Towa and the Masked Future Warrior are defeated and Trunks old partner is freed.

Warrior from the Demon World Saga

Trunks and the Future Warrior both have trouble remembering what happened and Chronoa tells them to think things clearly though both she and Elder Kai are revealed to have no memory of the original Future Warrior save for a lingering suspicion something is wrong. Trunks looks at the mask they brought back and it helps restore the memory of his partner allowing him to realize the source of the change is in the scroll for Age 850 where they see Towa kill Xeno Shenron before Trunks past self can make the wish that summons the Future Warrior to Toki Toki City and join the Time Patrol preventing them from playing their critical role in saving history during the Demigra Incident which resulted in massive history changes.

Trunks hands the scroll to the Future Warrior ordering them to stop Towa while he and the two Supreme Kais handle the situation in Age 852. The Future Warrior returns to the future in Age 852, as Trunks prepares to make his wish, noting that the Time Patrol needs power like theirs. Back in Age 852, history is revealed to have successfully been corrected.

Suddenly, Chronoa is attacked from behind by Towa who having managed to steal Tokitoki's egg, reveals it has enough power to break the seal on Demon Realm and cretaes a wormhole to free Mira from the Time Rift. Mira blast Trunks knocking him into the Future Warrior. Just as Mira is about to finish off the Future Warrior, the Toki Toki City Hero appears and shields the Future Warrior from Mira's blast. The hero encourage the Future Warrior to follow afar Mira and Towa as they flee with the egg through another wormhole, before collapsing from their injuries. The warrior ends up back in Age ???, where they are connected by Trunks who reveals that the Earth in this unknown timeline is under Towa and Mira's complete control thus the Time Patrol is unable to send any help, meaning they must confront Towa and Mira on their own.

Trunks watches helplessly as Towa is absorbed along with Tokitoki's Egg causing Mira to transform into his Final Form. Eventually Mira's power falters, allowing Goku to remove Tokitoki's Egg using his Dragon Fist before telling the Future Warrior to finish him off. Mira is killed resulting in both his and Towa's deaths in Age ??? while Goku and the Future Warrior triumphantly return to Age 852 with Tokitoki's Egg. Trunkss greet the Future Warrior to congratulate them on defeating Mira and putting an end to Towa's schemes. To celebrate the return of Tokitoki's Egg and the defeat of the Time Breakers, Chronoa decides to hold a feast. Trunks and everyone enjoy themselves at the feast provided by Shenron.

Epilogue

After the feast, Goku wonders who is stronger, and Trunks asserts that he is stronger than the two Future Warriors as he has been a Time Patroller longer than either of them. However, Elder Kai refutes his claims using Goku surpassing his elder brother Raditz as an example that being more experienced or older doesn't make one stronger. Eventually everyone decides a fight can settle the matter but Beerus tells Goku to wait his turn and let to two warriors fight first, causing Trunks to admonish Goku when he childishly complains, causing everyone to laugh.

Unknown History Saga

While investigating the five large Rifts in Time contained inside Time Miniatures in Conton City, the Future Warrior discovers a Distorted Time Egg in each rift. After collecting the eggs, Chronoa and Elder Kai summon Trunks and the Future Warrior to the Time Vault to talk to them about what happened between Bardock and Mira inside the time rift. Inside the rift they see Bardock as he confronts Mira to make him pay for brainwashing him and modifying his body against his will. After the battle, Bardock is no where to be seen as the defeated Mira regains consciousness and admits to himself that he lost.

Back in the Time Vault, Trunks is amazed that Bardock managed to defeat Mira but wonders what will happen to Bardock now as when Mira regained consciousness Bardock was no longer there. Trunks notes that the battle was fought with such sheer intensity that if the rift did rupture it wouldn't actually be a surprise and he could have been sucked into a whole other dimension. However he also says that he's heard that turning Super Saiyan 3 so suddenly could have obliterated him. She thanks Trunks for his help in investigating the matter with Bardock and that he did really great.

Battle With Universe Six Saga

Trunks and the two Future Warriors are summoned to deal with a history change in Age 779 of the main timeline during the Battle With Universe Six Saga. Trunks and his partner successfully locate Goku training at King Kai's place and the original Future Warrior informs him of the tournament transporting him there just as the current Future Warrior has passed their exam.

Whilst watching his father fight Cabba, Trunks is horrified by his father's brutality but then realizes his father was actually helping Cabba acquire Super Saiyan as an act. Later Elder Kai confirms Trunks suspicions that Monaka is a weakling explaining Beerus' ploy to trick Goku and Vegeta. After the Tournament ends Trunk points out the fighters sudden power-up after Goku showed up and hopes it is just his imagination but wonders if someone planned it.

Warrior of Hope Saga

In Age 852, Chronoa decides to send Trunks on another mission again closely linked to himself. The original Future Warrior saves the past Trunks from Goku Black which allows time to progress as normal. The two Future Warriors are sent to assist Goku, Vegeta and Future Trunks in Age 796 of the future timeline After some time, the Supervillain empowered Future Zamasu shows up forcing Goku, Vegeta, and Future Trunks to flee due to injuries. The 2nd Future Warrior stays behind to assist Trunks, who transformed to his Super Saiyan Rage form as he battles the powered up Goku Black and Zamasu.

After Goku and Vegeta fuse into Vegito, he fights and almost destroys Zamasu, however like in the original timeline he defuses prematurely, and Grotesque almost kills Goku and Vegeta. Future Trunks steps in wielding his Light Sword and begins to absorb the energy from the Spirit Bomb formed of the remaining Earthlings, however, it is still not enough because Zamasu is still under the Supervillain power up. Future Trunks claims that he is alive because of everyone who helped him and helping each other is what means to be human before noticing the energy coming from the Earthlings, calling for more power when he realizes it is not enough. Suddenly, the time rift previously opened by Black begins to overflow with energy from various timelines. Future Trunks wonders where the energy is coming from, it turned out to be from Gohan and Piccolo in the main timeline; Trunks, Goku, and Pan in the GT timeline; Future Gohan and a bewildered Teen Future Trunks in an undetermined future timeline, and Trunks in the Time Nest is Age 852. Future Trunks channels it into his sword to create the Sword of Hope which allows him to destroy Grotesque Zamasu with his Final Hope Slash like in the original timeline.

Future Trunks realizes the energy came from the rift in time Black had created which disappears and wonders how he can ever repay everyone who helped him. Trunks enters and explains he noticed they were correcting history earlier and correctly surmises it was connected to his "crime" of altering history. However, Chronoa explains while his crime was indeed a grave one, it is far outweighed by all the good his actions have done and notes were it not for his work as a Time Patroller the Time Nest would have been destroyed a long time ago. Despite giving Trunks a chance to leave the Time Patrol, he explains while he is thankful for her concern he actually enjoys his work and has made good friends as well as growing found of life in the Time Nest and Conton City. Chronoa and Elder Kai are relieved as Chronoa states they'd be lost without him, though Elder Kai is dismayed by her frankness. Chronoa even admits she had a feeling he'd agree to stay and states he can no longer take it back as it is now recorded in the official history, though Trunks simply laughs and says he just can't say no to her. Chronoa welcomes him back aboard now that he has official decided to stay of his own free will.

Hero Colosseum Saga

Bulma from the main timeline visits Conton City in Age 852. Using data collected during her trip their she develops the Hero Colosseum and Hero Figures for the Time Patrol as a fun game. She attempts to promote the Hero Colosseum through ads over the Time Patrol's PA system and handing out Hero Figures. Trunks receives some figures from her during one of her promotions. Chronoa mentions seeing "Little" Trunks and Goten playing with them earlier, so Trunks and the warrior decide to go ask them about the figures.

At the Hero Colosseum they walk in as Kid Trunks beats Goten in a figure battle. Trunks greets his counterpart who asks him and the warrior if they are their to figure battle, though Trunks is confused. Kid Trunks explains the game and they have a game themselves but Trunk is beaten by his younger counterpart.

They later return to the Hero Colosseum and are greeted by Goten and Kid Trunks. However before they can start fighting, Bulma appears and both incarnations of Trunks greet their mother. Trunks asks how they should go about promoting the Hero Colosseum but she states that is their job.

When Vegeta appears and derides the game as childish, Kid Trunks however begs father as he wants to see him fight and Trunks joins in to convince him to figure battle in an effort to make Bulma happy. Vegeta relents but loses not before seeing the buzz Vegeta's figure battle has generated among the Saiyan Time Patrollers. As a result, Trunks and the Future Warrior are left with the task of promoting the Hero Colosseum. In order to drum up interest among the Majin Time Patrollers, Trunks tries to get Good Buu interested in figure battles, however he misunderstands Trunks explanation and turns him into a Ball with his Transfiguration Beam. The Future Warrior convinces Buu to figure battle and defeats him but Buu decides it is more fun than the Ball and turns Trunks back to normal much to his relief.

Trunks decides they should start by getting Earthlings interested by having the Warrior fight the most famous Earthling there is who just so happens to walk by as their talking, the world champion Mr. Satan. Trunks notes their luck and tells Mr. Satan that he is perfect to appear in a commercial to promote the Hero Colosseum. Trunks says his mother will contact Mr. Satan about the commercial though Mr. Satan sarcastically suggests he might be too busy having lost a battle against the Future Warrior.

Power

Manga

In the Dark Demon Realm Mission manga, during the Dark Demon Realm Saga Super Saiyan Future Trunks is shown to be around as strong as he was when he destroyed Future Imperfect Cell, and by working alongside the Masked Saiyan is able to overwhelm Super Mira, though it is said that he would stand no chance against Demon God Demigra. He soon after trains for half a year with Xeno Goku, and upon encountering Mira again in the Dark Empire Saga, base Xeno Trunks is able to wipe out base Mira with a Kamehameha. As a Super Saiyan, he is able to hold his own against Demon God Xeno Majin Buu.

In the Dark King Mechikabura Saga, as a Super Saiyan 3 Xeno Trunks is able to quickly defeat the corrupt Time Power Unleashed Chronoa, freeing her from her brainwashing.

After transforming into a Super Saiyan God, Xeno Trunks notes that he has a power unlike any he has felt before, he is able to match and overpower Fin in his Ultimate Evolution form but is unable to defeat Mechikabura thanks to his immortality. However upon taking up the recharged Key Sword with all four of the power of the gods, Xeno Trunks is able to able to defeat Mechikabura by sealing him away for good.

Even as a Super Saiyan God, Xeno Trunks' power pales in comparison to Beerus' and it takes everything Trunks has just to shift the trajectory of a finger beam from Beerus even after Tokitoki had sealed his God of Destruction power.

Video Games

In Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission, Xeno Trunks as Great Saiyaman 3 was able to make short work of Cooler (Final Form), beating him with the same attack he used against Mecha Frieza. However in the animated opening cutscene, Super Saiyan Xeno Trunks defeated by Sealas when he briefly appears in the Time Nest indicating the former Time Patroller Sealas is stronger than Xeno Trunks' Super Saiyan form.

During the game world Dabura's first invasion of Hero Town, with the aid of his SDBH deck Great Saiyaman 3 is initially able to hold his own against Villainous Mode empowered Dabura, Spopovich, and Yamu. Beat and Note unable to fight in the real world are impressed by the Hero Master, believing he has the upper hand against the King of Demon Realm. However Dabura starts fighting seriously and manages to break Great Saiyaman 3's guard with a powerful punch and it weakens the Hero Master to the point he is barely able to avoid being turned to stone by Dabura's Stone Spit. Additionally he falls prey to Spopovich and Yamu's Majin Buu Resurrection team attack and like Gohan he has his energy drained by Yamu's Energy-Suction Device. Unfortunately the Hero Master is sidelined as a result, though fortunately Dabura elects to return the stolen energy to his master and the villains return to the game world via the tear in space. The energy drain forces the Hero Master to rely on Beat and Note while his body recovers naturally.

In the Dark King Mechikabura Saga, Super Saiyan God Xeno Trunks is able to fight off Ultimate Evolution Fin as well as Towa, Dabura, Gravy and Putine in their second Demon God forms all at once. He then goes on to fight Mechikabura in his perfect state.

In this state, his muscle mass becomes somewhat reduced while gaining a fiery aura and red hair and eyes. His long smooth hair also becomes slightly unruly, standing up at the ends.

In the manga version of the saga, Xeno Vegeta, Xeno Goku, Xeno Gohan, Xeno Goten, and Xeno Pan unintentionally perform the Super Saiyan God ritual on Xeno Trunks while giving him energy as they were unaware of the ritual's existence due to never experiencing the events of the God of Destruction Beerus Saga in the Xeno World timeline and Chronoa does not reveal its existence to them.

Great Saiyaman 3

In Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission, Xeno Trunks and Beat acquire their own versions of the Great Saiyaman Suit which are depicted as high-tech suits of armor. While wearing their suits, Xeno Trunks takes on the alter-ego of Great Saiyaman 3, while Beat takes on the alter-ego of Great Saiyaman 4. Xeno Trunks' Great Saiyaman 3 Suit resembles Gohan's suit in coloration and helmet design though it comes equipped with a high-tech sword. Beat' Great Saiyaman 4 Suit resembles Xeno Trunks' though lacks a sword and features the traditional red and yellow color scheme of Beat's clothing. Due to their armored design the suits are apparently more durable and their visors emit a yellow glow.

Like Gohan's Alter-Ego Great Saiyaman, Xeno Trunks wears his Great Saiyaman 3 Suit to conceal his identity as he like Xeno Vegeta and Xeno Goku is super famous in Hero Town due to the popularity of Super Dragon Ball Heroes, so his Alter-Ego allows him to investigate the anomiles within the game more discreetly. Ironically, Great Saiyaman 3 becomes hugely popular SDBH player among the inhabitants of Hero Town, who is nicknamed Hero Master which is often shortened to Master as Note explains that Great Saiyaman 3 is too long to say in casual conversation hence his nickname and the shortened version of it. As Great Saiyaman 3, he acts as both the leader and mentor of the Dragon Ball Heroes team as he recruits both Note and Beat.

Leggings was the one who "knighted" Xeno Trunks as Great Saiyaman 3, indicating she was involved in its design and development. This makes sense as she also co-created the Hero Switch that allows Beat to manifest his Great Saiyaman 4 Suit due to idolizing the Hero Master.

Xeno Gotenks

In Dragon Ball Heroes, when Xeno Trunks performs the Fusion Dance with Xeno Goten they form Xeno Gotenks - who is identical in appearance to adult Gotenks, although he retains some clothes from the fusees, like the black pants and Xeno Trunks's gloves. He also possesses Future Trunks' sword, giving him a different style in combat from his counterpart.

Xeno Vegeks

In the first mission of Super Dragon Ball Heroes, in order to combat Demon God Towa, Xeno Trunks uses Chronoa's Potara earrings to fuse with Xeno Vegeta, resulting in the creation of Xeno Vegeks. His battle armor resembles Vegeta's, and his hair becomes a combination of Trunks' and Vegeta's, with black and purple coloring.

In World Mission, when Xeno Vegeta (Super Saiyan 3) refuses to perform Potara fusion with Xeno Goku (Super Saiyan 3) to combat Xeno Janemba, he requests to fuse with Xeno Trunks (Base) as he considers fusing with his son to be more dignified that fusing with Xeno Goku. Xeno Trunks agrees though Xeno Vegeta states it will be the first and final time they do so. The two fuse into Xeno Vegeks (Super Saiyan) who easily annihilates Xeno Janemba. However due to Xeno Trunks still recovering (and presumably due to Xeno Vegeta being in his Super Saiyan 3 form) Xeno Vegeks fusion time was shorten significantly.

Xeno Gohanks

In Super Dragon Ball Heroes, Xeno Trunks can fuse with Xeno Gohan through the Fusion Dance, creating Xeno Gohanks. He looks similar to Future Gohanks, though with longer bangs due to Xeno Trunks having long hair at the time, as well as slightly different clothes. Xeno Gohanks was introduced in SDBH6.

Deck

In World Mission, in his alter-ego as Great Saiyaman 3, he becomes a Super Dragon Ball Heroes player in order to combat the SDBH game world anomalies, becoming a local legend among the SDBH player community in Hero Town known as the Hero Master. During the Two-Star Normal Mission "The Cause of the Commotion" in Chapter 2, Sub Chapter 2: "Hero Town in Danger!", Great Saiyaman 3 fights using a Cell Games themed deck consisting of Great Saiyaman 3, Super Saiyan Goku, Super Saiyan 2 Gohan (Teen), Piccolo, Super Saiyan Vegeta, Android 16, and Tien Shinhan. As an enemy in Secret Battle, Great Saiyaman 3's Deck is selected at random. One of his decks is Time Patrol themed which features Great Saiyaman 3, Time Power Unleashed Chronoa, Base Vegeta (Xeno), Base Goku (Xeno), Base/Super Saiyan 3 Bardock (Xeno), Base Gohan (Xeno), and Base Goten (Xeno). Another Deck features Great Saiyaman 3, Super Saiyan/Super Saiyan 3 Gohan (Future), Bulma (Teen), Super Saiyan/Super Saiyan God SS Evolved Vegeta, Tarble, Super Saiyan/Ultra Instinct Goku, and EX Gohanks. Another of his decks is GT themed which features Great Saiyaman 3, Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta (GT), Super Saiyan/Golden Great Ape Goku (GT), Super Saiyan Gohan (GT), Super Saiyan Goten (GT), Super Saiyan 4 Bardock, and Super Saiyan 4 Broly. Equipment & Vehicles
  • Time Machine - Before becoming a member of the Time Patrol, Xeno Trunks used his mother's Time Machine to travel into the past to deliver the Heart Medicine to Xeno Goku and warn the Dragon Team of the coming Android conflict creating the Xeno World main timeline in the process. Chronoa would later confront him over his "crime" of altering history, before offering him the job as a Time Patroller and her assistant as a form of atonement. After joining the Time Patrol, Xeno Trunks' Time Machine was modified with Chronoa's input to make it temporally safe. Xeno Trunks is seen using the Time Patrol sanctioned Time Machine in trailers for Dragon Ball Heroes.
DBH God Mission 1 (GDM1) Xeno Trunks' Capsule Corp Scouter (GDM1 Trailer - Resurrection F)

  • Scouter - In the God Mission 1 (GDM1) trailer, Xeno Trunks is seen using a Capsule Corporation green lens Scouter model which features the CC logo and can read power levels within at least a 10-digit range. However after a brief encounter with the Masked Saiyan, Xeno Trunks gives the Scouter to Beat to use on his and Note's mission to an alternate version of Frieza's Resurrection & Revenge where the pair joins Goku, Vegeta, and Jaco in confronting Sorbet and Tagoma as they attempt to resurrect Frieza with the Dragon Balls.
  • Potara - Xeno Trunks has been given a pair of Chronoa more than once in order to fuse with Xeno Vegeta and Xeno Gohan.
  • Future Trunks' sword - Xeno Trunks' primary weapon. It is the future timeline's Brave Sword according to some sources.

Super Saiyan God Xeno Trunks' Key Sword

  • Key Sword - A sword created by the gods to fight demons that is given to Trunks by Demigra. After the Key Sword is fully powered by Chronoa, Tokitoki and Demigra, the Key Sword becomes a glowing blue weapon chained to Xeno Trunks' arm. In the manga, Xeno Trunks' sword is transformed into a Key Sword by Robelu.

  • Hero Switch - A high-tech bracelet that allows the user to enter the game world of SDBH and has a feature that taps into the user's latent power allowing them to utilize game world abilities in the real world, as well as a built-in feature that allows the user to materialize a high-tech armored suit modelled after Great Saiyaman, effectively allowing the Hero Switch to serve the same function as the Great Saiyaman Watch.
    • Great Saiyaman Suit - A high-tech superhero suit modelled after Great Saiyaman 1 in coloration and developed by Leggings who "knighted" Xeno Trunks as Great Saiyaman 3. The suit comes equipped with a high-tech sword which Great Saiyaman 3 utilizes in place of the sword he normally wields as Xeno Trunks. Though he wears it as a disguise, Xeno Trunks isn't really a fan of the design and initially prohibited Leggings from revealing the Hero Switches' built-in feature to materialize the suit as she had intended for the entire DBH Team to wear them but was stopped by Xeno Trunks and Anne, though after Beat asks if he can have his own version of the suit, the Hero Master permits Leggings to tell the team though only Beat decides to actually use the feature.
      • Great Saiyaman 3's Sword - A high-tech sword designed by Leggings to be wielded by Xeno Trunks in his guise as Great Saiyaman 3. The sword can fire a powerful Sword Blast called Justice Slash and the blade can emit a Energy Shield around itself strong enough to withstand a punch from Final Form Cooler. Like Future Trunks' sword, it is sharp enough to cut through Frieza Race Bio Suits.
