"Gotenks makes the scene!!"
— Xeno Gotenks' arrival to save his father in "Time of the Dark Demon Realm's Resurrection".

Xeno Gotenks (ゴテンクス:ゼノ Gotenkusu:Zeno) is an incarnation of Gotenks from a world separate from the main timeline. He is Xeno Goten and Xeno Trunks' resulting fusion when they perform the Fusion Dance and a member of the Time Patrol.

Appearance[]

Xeno Gotenks' physical appearance is nearly identical to his main counterpart, though his hair leans slightly to his right. Though unlike the main timeline's Gotenks, his Metamoran vest is black instead of blue. Additionally, he wears a dark green skintight shirt, black pants, a blue waist cloak, the same brown gloves worn by Xeno Trunks, and the same light olive green leg wraps and brown lace-up shoes worn by both fusees. He also gains Xeno Trunks' Sword.

Personality[]

Despite being composed of a more serious version of Trunks, Xeno Gotenks' personality is cocky and confident, much like his younger counterpart Gotenks. He can be impatient to attack, such as rushing ahead of Chronoa and Xeno Gogeta during his Fusion Warriors from Beyond Unit attack.

Biography[]

Dragon Ball Heroes[]

Dark Demon Realm Saga[]

In the game, Xeno Gotenks is the result of Xeno Goten who already knew about the fusion dance and Xeno Trunks, who either also knew about it through his Time Patrolling during the Majin Buu arc or learned the technique from Goten at some point prior to their meeting on the battlefield. Xeno Gotenks is created as an attempt to defeat Baby Hatchiyack, the ultimate warrior of the Tuffle race.

Dark Empire Saga[]

In Hell, Xeno Vegeta continues his battle against the Demon God, Shroom. As Shroom goes in to finish off the worn out Vegeta, he is suddenly attacked by Xeno Gotenks who appears through a dark portal followed by Chronoa, Chamel and Xeno Gohan. Outnumbered, Shroom retreats through the same portal back to the Demon Realm. Chronoa uses her magic abilities to temporarily rewind Xeno Vegeta's injuries and meanwhile notices that the dark portal is beginning to close and asks Chamel to use his magic to open it back up so they can enter through it.

Mechikabura's subordinates, Gravy, Putine, Towa, Salsa, Mira, and Xeno Dabura show up in order to hold off the Time Patrol to buy time for the Dragon to restore their master’s power. However, Chronoa attempts to bypass them and head straight to Mechikabura herself. Xeno Dabura goes in to attack her but he is held off by Xeno Gotenks though they defuse immediately afterward.

Power[]

Manga

Xeno Gotenks is powerful enough to blast Shroom away, and easily beat down the Demon Realm's soldiers with his Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack technique.

Game

Xeno Gotenks is likely quite powerful, as he seems confident in taking on Baby Hatchiyack with just his base form.

Trivia[]

  • Gotenks' appearance in this iteration, much like his GT counterpart, contradicts the mechanics of the Fusion Dance in regard to his clothing. Certain articles of Xeno Gotenks outfit are taken from the fusees (such as his boots), despite Metamoran Fusion replacing any trace of the fusees' outfits with traditional Metamoran clothing.
