"Vs. the Warrior in Black" (ＶＳ黒衣の戦士 Bāsasu Kokui no Senshi) is the eighth chapter of the Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultra God Mission!!!! manga.
Summary[]
Goku turns Super Saiyan 3
Having taken over the fight against the Warrior in Black from Jiren, Goku matches his opponent by also transforming into a Super Saiyan 3. However, after charging into battle, he is immediately aware of the wide gap in their powers despite using the same form. After the Warrior in Black suggests that Goku come at him with all that he's got, Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan Blue before attacking once more.
Still, Goku finds himself outmatched and after being engulfed in a large explosion resulting from the Warrior in Black's attack, Goku emerges in his Ultra Instinct Sign state, dodging a subsequently barrage of energy and then physical attack.
After a brief hand to hand skirmish, Goku leaps back and powers up a Kamehameha and the Warrior in Black responds with a Final Spirit Cannon attack. The resulting clash of energy beams creates an enormous sphere of destruction and as Goku begins to prevail, the Warrior in Black recalls a past memory of himself with Aeos and when he agreed to join her cause. Collapsing to the ground, he tells "Kakarot" to live with the Saiyan wondering how he knows his name.
Just then the Mysterious Guide appears, announcing the end of round two of the Tournament after Gohan and Piccolo had successfully retrieved the Time Fairy from the Namekian in Black. As the guide attempts to announce the winning team, Goku grabs a hold of him and asks that he take him to see Aeos.
Meanwhile in the Time Nest, Chronoa approaches Aeos and asks that she return the Time Scrolls to her.

- Exclusively in the manga is wherein Goku assumed Perfected Ultra Instinct briefly.
