The Valencian dub of the Dragon Ball anime started airing in Valencia.
After the success of Dragon Ball in the rest of Spain, Canal 9 decided to buy the rights to broadcast the series. Bola de Drac was broadcasted since March 2, 1991. Episodes were purchased from Catalan TV3, which they got from AB Distribution. All episodes were broadcasts.
Since 1997, Canal 9 began broadcasting Dragon Ball again. However, due to complaints from various protests about the Dragon Ball series in other parts of Spain, the broadcast ended on episode 10.
Dragon Ball Z
Bola de Drac Z was aired on Canal 9 from November 20, 1991. The channel continued to purchase episodes from TV3. Up to 104 episode the French version was used. In episodes 105-146, the Japanese version was used. Later, television alternately used the French and Japanese versions.
The years 1992–1994 were the golden age of Dragon Ball in Valencia. In 1994, 213 episode was broadcast. Television bought further episodes up to 232 but due to complaints from various protests about the Dragon Ball series in other parts of Spain, Canal 9 decided not to broadcast further episodes and ended at 213.
From 1994 to 1995 Dragon Ball Z was broadcast again on Canal 9.

Dragon Ball GT was never aired and dubbed in Valencian.
Dragon Ball Z Kai
Dragon Ball Z Kai were never aired and dubbed in Valencian.
In 1993, Canal 9 broadcast the second movie in the Dragon Ball series as the first in Spain. Several other films were also broadcast.
