  • Super Battle Collection
  • Release date: 1998

Originally released in 1998, this series has seen numerous variants for specific pieces and has 42 models in the entire set. Uub appears as volume 36 in this set. The piece is a unique mold for Uub and is likely one of the first pieces to feature the character at this height. Majuub appears in his white pants here, which is a depiction of the character from the GT sagas as opposed to his younger appearance in DBZ. The box mockup backflap portrays Uub as he maintains a serious expression. Also portrayed on the boxart backside is the SBC Uub figure from different angles. On the box front, there’s an image of Uub as well as a bubble allowing for the figure inside to be observed. All initial SBC pieces were released with a similar packaging, having a square box design with flaps, allowing for the figure to be removed from the packaging and easily placed back into it without damaging the box itself. The character is credited as "Oob" on the packaging. As a GT addition, the character has a yellow and black box mockup for the coloring scheme.

The Uub figure in this set seems to have a bit of a matte touch-up rather than a glossy finish as seen in the previous "Legendary Battles" set. The packaging front flap reads “Unlikely Alliances" and details the included figures as "Uub" and "Goku." The packaging backboard and front flap portrays images of Uub and Goku in a black and white gray-scale format as a nice alternate design scheme.

In the large assortment of “Anime Heroes” series offered by Plex, Uub has made an appearance in volume 4 released in December 2008. The miniature figurine comes with an orange base to stand on. The head is of course sized larger than the rest of the body to better initiate a chibi style. Uub’s facial reaction here displays an angered expression as he fights Goku in the World Martial Arts Tournament, stomping his feet on the ground and maintaining his hands in a gripped posture.

As a miniature collectible, Uub is seen with both arms directly dangling beside him. He maintains his original clothing as he appears in the beginning of DBGT. Even for a miniature figurine, it has a great deal of detail, making it a very nice collectible at this scale.

Dragon Ball GT Volume 36 Uub figure

  • Dragon Ball GT series
  • Release date: 2000

Mattel's Dragon Ball GT series has included reissues of the previously released Super Battle Collection figures. Coincidentally, these same figures were also re-released by Irwin Toy. Mattel's version doesn't differ from either of these reissues aside from the fact that it offers a new packaging for the figure in this 2000 lineup. The cardboard is a light and dark green along with having a basic figure bubble in front as well as an insert photo of the included character, which in this case is volume 36 Uub. The figurine is notated as "Oob" on the packaging as an alternate naming for this release.

Mexican Manufacturer[]

MexicanManu-UUB

Mexican manufacturer produced Majuub figure

  • Dragon Ball Z GT Series
  • Release date: Unknown

This hard-to-find model was sculpted by a Mexican Manufacturer. The actual mold is quite unique and unlike other models, as many and most of the bases are just a redone instrumentation of other figures and/or just plain bootlegs of other sculpts. This one, however, is a new model in and of itself and was sculpted and sold as is. The paint job isn’t particularly brilliant but it is unique and isn’t on the poor side as is the case with most bootlegs or copied imports. Standing at 7 inches tall, this specific model is rather well-crafted and stands out amongst numerous others imported from these Mexican Manufacturers. Majuub here is seen in angered posture, maintaining one hand in a gripped posture and the other in an open-palm position, preparing for a blast. All his clothing, hair and accessories are kept intact for a unique piece.
