Little project

Hey Zarbon, feast your eyes on this lil' project I've been working on today.

Ss2 Goku Charge

‎This article contains information about a topic still in development, and may change as more information becomes available. Please feel free to update it as soon as any new material is made available.

What do you think?

Nice template mate. I like the whole "transformation imminent" bit; it works on more than one level. However, I'm curious as to what pages this would apply on, all articles with little information or new articles in general. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 23:48, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

Thanks, so far I have put these templates on the following articles.

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast
Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo
Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans
Dragon Ball Kai
I figured because these articles are about topics still under development or currently being shown, having a template like this would assure the reader than the information is subjective to change.

Great. Since all those articles will be under construction simultaneously as more news flows in, in regards to and prior to their release; it's a good way to tell editors/readers that the page/article is ever-changing with new info. Nice. If there are any upcoming series or games, this would be the best template to add on those as well. Maybe the addition of the Z icon would do well on both sides of the message, like you use for your sig mate. Up to you. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 00:07, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

Glad you like them, I'm trying to think of a better wording for the little message, something Nonoitall mentioned as well, just to help clarify what it's use is etc. I may try and put those Z's in, or something else, I'll monkey around with it a little later.

Great mate! Nonoitall pretty much knows the exact outline in terms of word usage; the wikipedia terminology best suits all the templates in terms of "work-in-progress" templates. Good luck and hope it keeps gettin' better. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 00:54, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
I went ahead and changed the wording around using more of Nonoitall's suggestion, so take a look if you can, and let me know what you think. Of course you can add whatever you feel is needed as well.

It's better mate. The only word that doesn't seem to slide well is "event". I'd alter that word with something else to better incorporate the current release. Maybe the word "release"...? On another note, I am currently trying to archive my talk page but I need the exact id for the page in order to do it as Nonoitall has done. I'm trying to find the correct id code for the archive but I'm having some trouble. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 01:03, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
I was thinking that exact same thing, so I changed it to ..."topic still in development". As for the whole archive thing, I have absolutely no clue how to create an archive for talk pages of any sort. I'd love to help you, but I myself need help too XD. I'm pretty certain Nonoitall knows how, should we ask him?
 talk contr
01:11, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
We definitely need to know it. Honestly, I used to know how but I forgot after doing it so long ago. The only difference is the "oldid" section in the archive menu. If I can know my oldid for my talk page, I can archive it. We should ask nonoitall for sure. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 01:16, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
I finally figures it out! I know how to archive now! I remembered! - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 01:30, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
That's great man, mind telling me how? My talk page could use it too haha. If so, thanks!

It's a bit complicated to explain, but I'll try. Take my archive section, copy it on your talk page (the section where you see the archive template opening and closing). The only section you need to alter on your talk page is the part that says "oldid". In order to obtain your oldid, all you need to do is click on your talk page history... and click on the last edit, not the most recent one but the one before that. On the top of your talk page an oldid will be displayed for your old talk page. You copy that and paste it into the section that says oldid on the template on your talk page. And that should be it. After you've archived, you can wipe your page clean and you'll have access to the past page anytime. Let me know if you need further help, I can do it for you if you can't figure it out. But it should be simple enough. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 01:42, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
I appreciate it bud, I'll monkey around with it a bit later when I log back on. Thanks again for the help man, talk to you a bit later.

Quick note etc.

Hey Zarbon how's it going? I don't know if you noticed, but I did go ahead and add an image to the New Content template (Goku powering up image, nothing big). But the real reason I'm leaving you this little message, is that in the last hour or so I've been creating very minor articles for all of the voice actors we had no articles on. Do you think we should get a note out for something to let users know that these places need help? I'd also LOVE your help if you've got the time... so many articles for just one guy to do, you know? Well let me know what your idea on it is, thanks again bud.

I've been a bit busy lately listing some DBZ auctions on ebay... Personally, I don't think it's necessary to have articles on the voice actors. I think the voice actor info on each page should be enough for each character. Otherwise, the voice actor pages would be exceptionally short and simply list material that can easily be found on and/or or some other anime network. It wouldn't really add anything as an encyclopedic resource... as for the image of Goku on your template, I like it...but I'd recommend that it be made a very little bit smaller (maybe half that current size). Check out this image; you might like it for the template. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 01:34, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

Another project

Hey Zarbon, thought you may want to see the other project I just finished as well

This article is about the
real world.

We can use that template for articles on things like creators, actors, voice actors, musicians etc.

What do you think?
Well...not sure if the "Real World" tag is appropriate. Maybe a more conventional terminology would work better. I'm still not too sure/iffy about the whole "Real World" phrasing. But it's a good idea overall, although I'm not certain that the voice actor articles are needed, as I said earlier. There isn't much information we could add in relation to them. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 03:19, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

An Awesome Quote

Hi, I'm new here and I found an awesome Bardock Quote. You guys came post it on the "Why is Bardock the better Hero." "If I'm able to see the future.. there might be a chance to change it." (Vegeta83 05:06, 9 June 2009 (UTC))

the best thing goku ever said

the line that goku said before destroying hirudegarn."if i dont then who will".please make a page on that.Thexsameerx 10:02, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

That line in and of itself is fine; except it lacks content: "If I don't [don't do what?], then who will?" Sure, I know what Goku's referring to...defeating Hirudegarn with his maneuver. But any person who has not seen Wrath of the Dragon will not know what he's referring to. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 16:20, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

A Hero's Legacy

What happened to goku by the end of dragonball gt when he leaves with shenron? What happened to all of the Z warriors 100 years later during the world martial arts tournament and in the movie: A Hero's Legacy that they don't appear in both instances? Does goku die from old age by the end of the dragonball gt series? I am just asking this question, because when i watched A hero's Legacy it showed pan sitting on goku's grave at the cemetrey, meaning that goku did die of old age. In the beginning of A Hero's Legacy in the cemetrey which Z warriors are buried in those graves? DBZfaner100(talk) 49:3, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

Yes, they all died of old age; Goku's spirit was last seen in the Hero's Legacy flick guiding Goku Jr. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 20:31, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

Hey PrinceZarbon, Correct me if i am wrong, but i heard that goku did not die from old age at the end of dragonball gt, because the old kai gave away his life to goku in the buu saga, which means that he has 10000 years left to live. DBZfaner100(talk) 53:4, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

Elder Kai did give his life to Goku, but so that Goku could live his life. That didn't extend Goku's life to thousands of years though, it merely extended it to the duration of his natural Saiyan life (which is still longer than an average human). - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 22:32, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

Vegeta is possibly much stronger considering he enters the form way later in chronological order. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 14:09, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

Hey PrinceZarbon, I need to ask you a question about the saiyans: Why can't Nappa, Raditz, Turles and Paragus reach Super Saiyan? I am just asking this question, because i am curious to see how would they look like if they were ever to reach Super Saiyan, Super saiyan 2, Super Saiyan 3 or Super Saiyan 4. Do you think that if they lived long enough throughout the Dragonball z series without being killed, would they might have a chance to reach all super saiyan forms, by training and experiencing anger and stress just like how Goku, Vegeta and Broly did, Since they are the only Full blooded Saiyans that can go Super Saiyan. Do you think that it is possible that there would be a Dragonball z game with what if super saiyan forms for Nappa, Raditz, Turles and Paragus? DBZfaner100(talk) 26:11, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

This is all what if. Considering that Nappa and Raditz are pretty much the only Saiyans I even like, I don't want to think of them as Super Saiyans (I hate Super Saiyans). However, to answer your question... they probably would not have progressed to that level because they rely on their brute strength and aren't in sync with their power in "bursts" like Goku and Vegeta are later on. What happens to Nappa is evident. He returns from hell and his power level had barely increased as he's easily killed off by Vegeta as every other villain. Just because they are Saiyans isn't well to assume that they'd become Super Saiyans. An entire planet full of them couldn't accomplish what Goku and Vegeta accomplished as they were faced with circumstances which made them ascend. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 15:59, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

Dragonball Z Burst Limit 2

PrinceZarbon, I need to ask you something: Will there be a Dragonball Z Burst Limit 2 game for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3?

You'd have to contact the company. I don't work for XBox 360 or Ps3 (I don't work for atari or the Dbz distribution companies either) to be able to predict what games are going to be released and when. Atari and/or the Burst Limit forum should be the place to find out information about upcoming video game releases. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 22:45, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

My current projects

How's it going my friend? Any way I thought I'd let you know that I'm currently creating separate pages for each of the dates in the Dragon Ball universe, and then plan to create a scroll box template so that readers can scroll and select any date they wish. So, what do you think of that? I noticed that most wiki's use that method, so why not us right? I also used "Age" instead of A.D., which is self explanatory. Also used B.C.A. (Before Common Age), instead of B.C. or B.C.E. for more obvious reasons. So just thought I'd get your input on this little project. Also made the template below, could definitely help.

I love the construction tag (nice touch showing Krillin working). I'm not sure if Age and BCA are better terminologies than AD and BC, since most sites are using AD and BC (regardless of the fact that Jesus Christ may not appear in the DBZ universe... the world goes by the AD and BC standard; I think we should maintain the AD and BC standard and work under those terms but still do the separate pages for each of the dates, but under AD and BC. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 01:40, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
Well truthfully, guides such as The Super Exciting Guide and the various Daizenshuus use "Age" not A.D. They also use "Before Age", which is easily abbreviated into B.C.A. or B.A. I suppose we could use more opinions on the matter, but in terms of why they are used on fan sites, is probably because someone originally changed them over to A.D. and B.C., and from there many other fan sites simply copied and pasted.
 talk contr
01:54, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
If the Daizenshuu truly uses Age then it's proper that we follow that standard. I assumed that all those sites would be accurate as it's overwhelming how many have AD and BC as opposed to what the Daizenshuu says. I'd imagine that they should have changed the format if official information says that the proper naming goes by Age and Before Age. But technically, isn't Before Age the same as BC? What's the difference between the paraphrasing... is Before Age supposed to be when dinosaurs roamed the planet and what not... or is it still a different verbalization of before christ...? I just want to be sure we use the correct terminologies and if the Daizenshuu uses those terms, then yes, we should precisely do the same. Thanks for pointing that out. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 02:14, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
Well instead of A.D. it uses Age, and instead of B.C. it uses Before Age, which is basically the same thing as A.D. and B.C. to a point. Before Age is anything before 1 Age etc. So for example 5 Million B.C.A. is when Buu was created, and 774 Age is when he was killed. But yeah, like I said the fan sites probably converted them and then stuck with it.

Kai Aspect Ratio

Hi sorry I'm new to wiki's. I really wanted to show this side-by-side though. I commented on the official page, and uploaded the image. Sorry it's huge but I wanted to get the full grasp of what is going on here. They cut the top and bottoms yet somehow there is extra image that was not there before. I'm wondering if they still had all of their old backdrops and re-used them? JUMP claims little to no cropping? That's absolute non-sense as this equates to Pan&Scan 2.0 ... Please feel free to shrink this or, use it as is, so people can clearly see the difference. Virtue777 23:42, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

This is noteworthy. It's worth maintaining the aspect ratio on the Kai article itself. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 21:08, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

One quick question. In timeline four how could future Trunks and krillin kill Cell if there was not a Cell in that timeline to tell his story. This is proven when future Trunks in timeline 3 is killed by Cell ,showing Trunks was off guard for Cell. I belive Cell in timeline four would stay there unharm for the next 20 years.

I have close to absolutely no idea what you just said. There's only two timelines, present and future. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 22:51, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

I can't answer his question but that is incorrect I believe. In Dragon Ball they basically made it so when they time traveled and changed something, it didn't just change the future, it caused an alternate reality to branch off, separate to one another. Some writers go the other way, as in "Back to the Future" where anything they changed in the past had a permanent affect on the future. Remember how "Future" Trunks goes back to his reality/time-line to avenge Gohan and get rid of the Evil Machines, after becoming strong enough to do so? Virtue777 23:42, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

That is true to an extent. This question has come up rather often. The fact is as follows: Krillin says to Trunks while they are on board the ship in the episode Unwelcome Discovery that anything that happens in the present timeline WILL NOT affect the future timeline and vice versa. That's pretty much the consensus in terms of timelines, so anything that happens in either will not affect the other. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 23:52, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

So in essence he answered his own question... There are possible Dragon Ball "Realities" that were left un-touched and we can only guess as an audience what exactly happened. Untied strings happen^^ I would guess this issue comes up because that was filler in the anime to begin with? Virtue777 23:54, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

Gohan and Videl

Hey PrinceZarbon, I need to ask you a question: What happened to Gohan and Videl 100 years later at the very end of the last episode of dragonball gt during the world martial arts tournament? Do gohan and videl appear in the movie: A Hero's Legacy?

If memory serves me correctly... That movie is about their Grandchild? And it does touch a little bit on what happened, but it's light hearted, and they do not make an appearance as they died already. Grandma Pan is watching over Gokuu Jr. Virtue777 00:27, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

Everyone from the past is deceased in that movie aside from Pan (who is a grandmother there). - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 00:50, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

I just watched this last episode again, and I get the feeling they left a lot open either so the audience can imagine for themselves, or to maybe one day go back and make more shows. For example: Who is Vejita Jr's father? No one knows! Have fun imagining yourself! Virtue777 02:17, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

I think all of that is up to speculation; it's highly inconsequential and unimportant. Vegeta JR and Goku JR barely even do anything themselves so it doesn't matter who surrounds them, etc. They just portray them in that 5 minute radius just to show that Goku and Vegeta's saiyan legacies will continue even if they are deceased. I wouldn't even go as far as to care about that though (I personally dislike all saiyans aside from Nappa and Raditz, but that's highly besides the point). - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 02:23, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

Hey PrinceZarbon, I need to ask you some questions that have to do with the last episode of dragonball gt and the movie: A Hero's Legacy: Were did Goku and Shenron leave to after goku destroyed omega shenron with the univerisal spirit bomb? What happened to all the Z warriors 100 years later during the opening scene of the world martial arts tournament taking place? Why didn't they show a scene or made a few more episodes of dragonball gt showing all the z warriors dying of old age and being buried in the cemetrey? In the begining of A Hero's Legacy, why is pan sitting in the park while goku jr is trying to catch some butterflies?

The answer to all those questions is the same: I don't know. All those things are left to speculation and aren't important nor are they integral to anything in the plot. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 20:53, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

Dragonball Raging Blast

PrinceZarbon, I need to ask you some questions about a dragonball z video game: How many playable characters will there be in dragonball raging blast? Are they going to add alot more new characters in this game like they did on dragonball z budikai tenkaichi 3? Also, are they going to add what if sagas and what if character forms to this game? DBZfaner100(talk) 06:10, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

Have you tried looking at the Raging Blast article? If so, then you would have seen that there's approximately 70 characters in-game. It's much less than the amount in Budokai Tenkaichi series, but this is the first installment so it's highly likely they will only put select people, it was expected that they would do this so they can insert more characters in upcoming installments. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 03:07, 14 June 2009 (UTC)

So, since dragonball raging blast is going to have approximately 73 playable characters does that mean that they will make more upcoming installments and add alot more new characters like they did with dragonball z budokai tenkaichi 3? DBZfaner100(talk) 06:10, 14 June 2009 (UTC)

Yes. It's highly likely that is exactly what will happen. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 16:41, 14 June 2009 (UTC)

The Z Fighters

What happened to all the Z warriors by the end of the last episode of dragonball gt that they don't appear at the opening scene of the world martial arts tournament 100 years later? How come the Z warriors are not shown at all expect for pan in the begining of A Hero's Legacy? SSJVegeta100(talk) 37:5, 14 June 2009 (UTC)

I've been asked this same question so many times. :] All the Z warriors are deceased in that ending scene. They are also deceased/dead in the hero's legacy movie. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 23:32, 14 June 2009 (UTC)

PrinceZarbon, Can you please name all the z warriors that died of old age by the end of the last episode of dragonball gt 100 years later. I am just asking you for this favor, because there are some people that don't understand and are not sure if all the z warriors died by the end of dragonball gt 100 years later during the ending scene where at the begining of the world martial arts tournament was taking place. Also did it show the Z warriors dying of old age or at least did they show a episode or a scene of all of the z warrios being buried when they died? Again, i am only asking these questions because, i heard some people say that they never shown all the z warriors die of old age during the end of the last episode of dragonball gt when goku was departing with shenron after shenron made a loud roar and the screen turned white after that, meaning that for some reason that scene of the z warriors dying of old age was blocked and skiped. DBZfaner100(talk) 05:9, 15 June 2009 (UTC)

As an answer to the question above. No, they never showed the natural deaths of any of the Z Fighters or supporters after Goku left with Shenron. The only time anything is seen in the DBGT special, A Hero's Legacy. In this special, the only surviving member officially shown is Pan, who was now over 100 years old. All others of the original Z Warriors had died of natural causes. It could be assumed that characters like Dende, Korin, Turtle, and possibly Master Roshi were still alive, but had not communicated with Pan for many years. Hope that helps a bit.

This question has been popping up very often. People assume that we'd know why these certain characters don't appear in the final movie, but the fact is that they are all deceased by then (most of them, aside from the ones you mentioned mate). - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 01:48, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

PrinceZarbon, Can you please give me a list of all the Z warriors that died of old age by the end of the last episode of dragonball gt and A Hero's Legacy 100 years? I am just asking you for this favor, because i want more specific information since i was always asking the same question so many times. I am very sorry that i asked the same question so many times and i got you annoyed princezarbon, please for give me. All i wanted was a list of the names of all the z fighters that died from old age 100 years later by the end of the last episode of dragonball gt and the movie A Hero's Legacy. DBZfaner100(talk) 21:5, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

I'm sorry, but why do you need a list? It's pretty much EVERY character in the series that doesn't appear in the movie. The only characters who do appear are Goku Jr. and Pan. It's safe to assume everyone else is dead. What part of EVERYONE ELSE do you not understand... ? If you want a list, just go to the list of characters page. And look under Z Fighters. Every character listed there is deceased in A Hero's Legacy. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 21:49, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

PrinceZarbon, How come they never showed the z warriors dying of old age at the end of the last episode of dragonball gt after goku left with shenron to the otherworld? When all the z warroirs died of old age did they go to heaven or hell after their deaths? DBZfaner100(talk) 21:11, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

I assume because it wasn't an important or integral thing to show. There's presumably more impact in leaving their deaths offscreen, considering they all pretty much died of natural causes. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 15:28, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

So, since they didn't show all the z warriors dying of old age by the end of the last episode of dragonball gt 100 years later, did they aleast show all the z warriors buried in a cemetrey or in graveyard by the end of the last episode of dragonball gt? DBZfaner100(talk) 20:12, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

You know that they didn't. I assume because it wasn't necessary to show their deceased corpses and/or tombstones at a graveyard. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 16:48, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

Actually, they did show the z warriors buried in a graveyard. If you watched the movie A Hero's Legacy you will notice at the beinging of the movie that it shows pan in the graveyard sitting on one of the z fighters graves praying while goku jr. was trying to catch some butterflies and he then went to pray for that deceased z warrior as well. Good eye. It's perceptive of you to notice all these details. If you already know the answer to your question though, then why ask it? I'm not a fan of any of the heroes though, so I didn't pay it much mind whether or not their tombstones appeared. I'm a fan of the villains (primarily the ones listed on my userpage) - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 21:55, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

Uncut curse of the blood rubies

Hi, I'm new to this wiki, and I'm building my home page. I thought it would be cool to post a series of videos that feature the uncut spanish version of DB movie 1 (this movie is hard to find uncut and i couldn't find japanese). And so far it has been going okay, but i posted the second part first and it is listed as the first video in a video gallery. Do you know how to move a video in a video gallery? I'm still getting used to the new format? Thanks--Jeffman13 16:04, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

Hi and welcome. I'm sorry to inform you that we don't allow videos on any of the articles or pages. I go through a weekly cleanup to remove all videos that were added, which I normally do at the end of the week since some members tend to add videos at random. It takes me a while to get to the videos, but I locate them through special search in order to remove them. Sorry. Is there any other way I can help, considering videos are out of the question (whether it be googlevideo, youtube, etc.) - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 16:11, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
No. Not at the moment, though I may need your help for something in the future. I apologize for the videos and I have deleted them. Thanks--Jeffman13 16:55, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

New dragonball series

Hey PrinceZarbon, I need to ask you this question: Since dragonball gt was the last chapter of the dragonball series, do you think there will be a new dragonball series made with new episodes to continue it? DBZfaner100(talk) 09:6, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

No, since it was the last chapter, there probably won't be. There will be less known spinoffs like Neko Majin and Cross Epoch though. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 22:14, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

I'm assuming you just need to edit your userpage as anyone else would. You'd click on the edit sections and edit the page accordingly. If you need help with adding something to your userpage specifically, let me know. The common breakdown for the userpages has already been mapped out for users, you'd just have to change the bold titles as you like, etc. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 14:48, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Broly's Attempted Execution

Well in the Broly movie Paragus says it happened on the same day.

King Vegeta had tried countless times to be rid of Broly. It is possible that his final attempt to rid himself of Broly was prior to his extermination, but shouldn't be limited to that one instance. It's better to leave it at a general phrasing, noting that King Vegeta tried to destroy him in order to protect his own reign prior to his execution at the hands of Frieza. Also take note that since Broly is a non-canon character (much of the movies do not fall under canon), it is also impossible that all those events took place on one day, hence Broly's very creation has much error and inconsistency in and of itself. Another error is in the dub itself. The Japanese version is probably the most accurate in terms of what is being said. We can look at it as a reference to how non-canon the Broly material is. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 19:15, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Gohan's hair strand

What happened to the strand of hair that hangs on gohan's forehead that is not present at the end of dragonball z and thoughout dragonball gt? Do you think that his hair strand was cut off or he geled it back with the rest of his hair. DBZfaner100(talk) 33:3, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Gee, maybe we'd have to ask him why he decided to change his hairstyle.
Reporter: Mr. Gohan, ahem... why did you decide to change your hairstyle during the end of the Z arc?
Gohan: Hmmm... I dunno. Why, you didn't like my hairstyle? It's bad enough people didn't like my Great Saiyaman outfit... Piccolo and Trunks got their say on the matter... but my hair now? I mean, come on. I thought it was alright to change my hairstyle.
Vegeta: You're being foolish. You know Saiyan hair never changes from the day he's born!
Gohan: Oh... really? Well, I guess that only applies for full Saiyans like you and dad. I'm a half Saiyan, see? Heh heh.
Vegeta: Just do me a favor. Shut up.
Reporter: Now would be a good time to leave, these Saiyans are looking a bit angry. Thanks for your time, Mr. Gohan... and uh... Mr. Vegeta.

My absence

Hey, how are things. I apologize about being gone for about a week without any notice, my basement (more of a fully finished den, where my room and computer is etc.) flooded on Friday night, so I've had no computer access. You'll be happy to know that I'm back for the time being, but in the near future may take another leave when the new floors will be put in. Heya my dear comrade. I've had very similar situations happen to me when all my stuff was in the basement and it got flooded (my collectibles were in boxes) and it happened on two occasions to me. Very annoying indeed. That's why I preferred a laptop ever since then, since desktops never had the luxury of moving around, etc. In any case, I understand that situation and how annoying it is. No need to apologize, I understand it. Therefore, it's always alright with me if you take a short leave because of emergencies of that caliber come up due to the fact that I am well aware of their problematic nature. I too, hate it when stuff like that happens mate. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 23:00, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

DBZ video games

PrinceZarbon, What kind of dragonball z games do you have that you own and what video game system consoles do you have that you play? DBZfaner100(talk) 27:12, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

I have all the DBZ games up to this point except for Burst Limit (because it didn't have any of my favorite characters in it except for Recoome). I have Ps2, Ps1, Xbox, and PC games. My oldest system is probably Genesis and Snes. I normally play Xbox360 and Ps3 on rare occasions, but there aren't many games I like for either of the systems as of yet. Ps2 is probably my favorite due to all the games I like are available for it. My most favorite type of games are FPS (First Person shooter) games. Then, I probably like platform and fighting second. But not as much as FPS. But I like FPS games without multiplayer, I don't like online multiplayer. I only like single player missions. My alltime favorites include Wolfenstein 3D (my most favorite game of all time and history), Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Doom, Duke Nukem, Quake, Blake Stone, Half-Life, Darkwatch, Timesplitters, Red Faction, Brothers in Arms, Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, Black, Area 51, Unreal, XIII, Cold Winter, Urban Chaos, Killzone, Rainbox Six, Warhammer 40,000, Mace Griffin, Turok, Judge Dredd, Goldeneye, Delta Force, History Channel, Pariah, Classified, Jedi Knight Dark Forces II, and every and any other game in relation to that genre. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 18:45, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

Lots of users have idiotic and moronic material such as that as their user pages. They can choose to do as they wish as long as it doesn't cross over to the articles. And of course it's not technically harmful as long as there's no graphic images on this person's user page. Comments like that are harmless. Thanks for bringing it up though. No. The first strayed so far from the plot that I'm not interested in the movie-verse. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 17:12, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

well if its not going to be a reboot (i think it is but not sure) the will probably have raditz and vegeta in the movie but i have concerns 1. how long will the movie be. and can it fit all that into one movie 2.will they so princess snake, snake way, king kai's training will raditz be different besides the hair because james wong changed goku: isnt his confident self and has doubt, hair, clothes, kamehameha is performed differently,no tail, came to earth on meotorite bulma:has a strip of blue hair, dragon radar look different yamcha:black with blonde hair.doesnt know martial arts muten roshi:not bald,no facial hair,no cain or turtle shell king piccolo:antenas are stuck on face, whole body is covered up

not very compelling. There's an actual DB Evolution section where you can post this, it's the DB Evolution talk page. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 17:12, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

Gohan's Tail

Do you know why it grows back?? i never quite understood it.--CombustionMan 10:36, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

I'm not into fanfics, only official material released by Bird Studio and Shueisha by Toriyama. But if he were ever to continue the series, it'd be nice, though highly unlikely as he's stated that it's over. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 15:16, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

Thnx for answering back but the reason why i wanted to create a new series is because GT was missing alot of things and plus they broke up the old z figthers ( i understand them loosing krillen but the rest they like gohan and goten, could of still be part of this. I know that they said it's over but a new adventure could of began I'm sure that toriyamia would of created something else but remember he didnt create GT there wasn't even supposed to be.Toriyama finished dragon ball with the end of dbz the Toe animation studio continued this and messed it up thats why i feel that there should be a another series . for my series i based my idea's from z rather than gt (well, all the action and comedy any way).you know that at the end of gt goku leaves with shenron right and the dragon ball were takn away until they learned to live without them , but a great evil (fimilar evil)comes to attack the city goku comes back after a year of disappearance and his family r notified that they have to create a new dragon in order to create the dragon balls so they have to travel to new namek in order to save the city almost every one goes (chi chi, bulma, bulla,marron,18,videl and possibly krillen) they get sucked in to the adventure because once again pan press the button before they get off the ship so chi chi gets to be with her family at last ( mostly because she's sick of loosing goku)tell me what u think so far ill tell u more on the seasons of the series cause there r about 9 seasons give me ur honest opinoinGohan fan101 19:57, 6 July 2009 (UTC)Gohan fan 101

I already gave my honest opinion when I said I'm not interested in fanfiction. Also, I'm not very interested in side storylines for the heroes either. The only reason I even like DBZ is because of the villains in the series; I'm strictly a villain fan, and not a fan of Saiyans either. I personally strongly dislike all Saiyans except for Nappa and Raditz as they were the only actual Saiyan villains in the entire series who didn't end up traitors or heroes. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 21:57, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

SSJ4 Vegeta

Can Vegeta go ssj4 whenever he has a tail or does he have to use the blutz wave generator?

He does it only using the blutz wave, he may be capable of doing it through more training, but it is probable that it would have taken him longer. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 00:11, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Actually, I think once you have acheived Super Saiyan 4, you can transform into it at will. But you have to become a Golden Great Ape to become a Super Saiyan 4 in the first place, and because Vegeta didn't have a tail, he had to use Bulma's Blutz Wave Generator. - FPSSJ Storm

Movie Trivia/Continuity Question

It seems that in most trivia section of the films, the users, or perhaps moderators, I'm not sure, say why the movies don't fit the continuity by addressing plot holes. But wouldn't all the films be better described as alternate time lines where certain events were askew slightly?

I've tried to edit some move trivia sections several times, citing that the movies continuity would make more sense if they were "What If" scenarios based upon alternate time lines. Like this for example.

In Tree of Might, it happens between the Vegeta Saga and what we'd call the Frieza saga. As Goku has King Kai training, though Piccolo, Yamcha, Tien and Chiaotzu are alive. So the most likely explanations are either in this time line, they, Piccolo, Yamcha, Tien and Chiaotzu, survived the encounter with Vegeta/Nappa. Or they did die, and the trip to Namek was still necessary, because the Earth Dragon Balls no longer exists. Though for the latter explanation to work, in this time line Freiza was not encountered during the journey to Namek.

I find the alternate time line approach more valid then simply chucking off the movies as unaffiliated Toei filler. Any thoughts on the matter?

DBfanboy85 04:27, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

The movie realm is a completely alternate reality in terms of continuity errors, etc. There's absolutely no reason to forcibly try to speculate or create a what if scenario where there is none. The movies were created without consensus in mind in terms of continuity and therefore are filler, whether people want to accept it or not. If my fellow administrators feel likewise on the matter, it's because the feeling's mutual in terms of maintaining a manga>anime>movies canon. There's a reason why the movies were created; the technicality of the scenario is that they were meant for entertainment and they're fine as a stand-alone project but there's no reason to implement them into the story arc, that's just impossible. We can't assume that Chiaotzu, Tien, and Yamcha lived, for example, because we know they perished, and the entire purpose of the journey to Namek was to bring them back to life. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 04:45, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

I'm not trying to rewrite canon or anything. I'm simply saying the movies are "What If" scenarios that are explainable if they're looked at as alternate time lines. Dragon Ball has shown that alternate time lines can and do exists independently of the main time line. As demonstrated with Future Trunks and his crummy time line, which had a slew of alternate continuity. Though if the movies are looked at as alternate time lines, there has to be an explanation as to why they occur, that's what I was trying to do with the Tree of Might example. I just think explaining how the movies could have happened is a more efficient way of affiliating them with the Dragon Ball universe, rather than pointing out how their events are simply flat out impossible.

By the way, we can assume Piccolo, Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu survived the Nappa/Vegeta encounter, if we just assume in that alternate time line the trip to Namek never occurred.DBfanboy85 05:30, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

We can't assume that. I'm sorry. We can only be encyclopedic, we can't assume alternate timelines because we feel like it. We can only work with what we've got, meaning assertion of factual material. We can say that the movies are separate storylines in and of themselves and work on that assertion but we can't say that Chiaotzu, etc. lived. That would also destroy the purpose of the Cooler movies, as he seeked vengeance for what happened on Namek. We cannot create scenarios, we can only put facts down. Do you understand... it is our duty as editors to portray what we see only, not to illustrate what-ifs and scenarios that could have been. Material like that is only kept to talk pages because it doesn't correspond to the material we seek. I've been removing ALL what-if scenarios from all pages that I can find, and I can assure you that if I stumble upon a what-if scenario or someone's explanation without proper reference, it's gone from the article. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 16:05, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Goku's Cousin?_Ceryu

it has been stated by many fans and headlines that goku and turles are truly relatives, cousins or not, for example, know one in the world, not even in Vegeta can be equal and not be relatives, come on they have equal voices in the movie, and there open theorys that can prove it like if Turles is not gokus twin brother, maybe bardock had one, being he the true father of turles

Like I said, it doesn't matter what they said, as fans don't appropriate what enters an article. Only encyclopedic sourced material and actual events in relation to background. All what-if and speculation is removed from articles. Only ACTUAL canonical material is allowed. They aren't related. Turles was created to resemble Goku, but be evil. He isn't related to Goku in any way. We can't insert assumptions and fan-made speculation just because we feel the need to. Sorry. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 17:02, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Glad to help!

(Stemmed from the M. Hashimoto topic)

Well, I have to admit, the "Cell Games movie" was one of my favorite parts of the series for just how corny it was.

Though, it shows a list of the names appearing after they label the actors behind Mr. Satan/Hercule and Cell (so I was curious if I should add them), as it's possible they are the names of the actors that played Goku and company (in order of appearance), but due to the world not knowing their names perhaps they simply may have not titled them for lack of knowing?

Anyways, I just wanted to run that by you so I didn't litter any hypothetical statements around here without having some fact to back it up...since Dragonball Kai is going to bring a lot of new fans to this site.

goku vs freiza

when goku battled with freiza and was knocked into lava, then when shenron was summond and everyone was wished back to life was goku alive or did dbz make a mistake and goku was revived twice by shenron ???

Goku never died there and funimation didn't make a mistake. He was knocked by the lava, not into it directly. He managed to fly out of the crevice after a few minutes of intermission. But he wasn't killed. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 00:40, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

Quotes for techniques

SSJ2AJB Hey, PrinceZarbon, its SSJ2AJB again. This time, I want to ask you about something. Well, since we've already have quotes for characters, transformations and other stuff, how about have quotes for techniques? I mean there might be some things that can be said about the techniques that different characters use. Like the other day when I was one the Spirit Bomb, I saw that there was a quote that said, "And if the Sun happens to be up when you form the Spirit Bomb, you will be harnessing and trying to control a power of indescribable magnitude that could easily destroy the earth if even the slightest miscalculation is made in using it!", and it was from King Kai.

So how about it? Will it be okay if we put up some quotes for the techniques?

Probably not. Most of the quotations are selected based on actual meaning, not necessarily descriptive for attacks or techniques as those wouldn't essentially be quotations but descriptions of attacks. I am solely responsible for selection of quotations as that's entirely my idea, so if you do have any suggestions, they'd go on the talk page for the featured quote archive. Any recommendations would go there. However, I can't guarantee they'd be used as I already have over 1,500 upcoming quotations lined up (all of which emphasize character mannerism, attitude, and persona, and none of which are basic descriptions of attacks.) - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 23:37, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

Evil Containment Wave

Hi. I was wondering.. Even though they don't directly come out and say either way, wouldn't Master Roshi and Mutaito not actually be caught in King Piccolo's dark void? Regardless of their motives the fact still stands that the attack was suicidal and therefor would not make them actual victims of Piccolo like Krillin or Chiaotzu. Tell me what you think because this has been bugging me on whether or not they'd be trapped in the void. SuperTron500 02:53, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

I'm not sure what your exact question is. However, Roshi and Mutaito died in the battles against King Piccolo, therefore meaning that facing King Piccolo was a direct result of their demise. King Piccolo didn't necessarily have to "pull the trigger" in order to be their killer. It's the same concept as murder. Technically, if we think about this logically, and look at it through criminal law, we'd find that there's a few things that constitute murder; in the first degree, second degree, manslaughter, etc. However, for the sake of keeping things simple and basic, it's best to assert that King Piccolo was in fact, directly responsible for their deaths... the same way Nappa was directly responsible for the deaths of Tien and Chiaotzu. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 03:14, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
I was just asking if you think they ended up in limbo, because i thought maybe if would be worth noting if Mutaito ended up in limbo. What i'm saying is they committed suicide motivated to defeat of Piccolo, King Piccolo didn't actually kill them, so wouldn't they have ended up in Other World? SuperTron500 09:12, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
It doesn't matter how they were executed. It was their intention that sent them to their demise. It's the same case with Guru. He died of a broken heart. But, remember that when they wished for all the people killed by Frieza to come back, Guru came back on the note that his death was a cause of Frieza's actions. So, it's more than logical to assume that both Mutaito and Roshi were killed by King Piccolo. The rest would be speculation. Whether they were sent to "limbo" or "Other World" is complete speculation and it's better not to include information in regards to that due to the fact that it wouldn't be precise but based on a what-if scenario. Anything we can't conclude as definite, we should leave out. This is the case when it comes to where the characters are sent when they die. The only ones we can note are the ones we visibly see in the series, such as all the villains escaping from hell, we can note that they were in hell due to the fact that they escape from it and are seen there on occasion. In the case of Roshi and Mutaito, we can't note that due to the fact that it is never illustrated in the series. Do you grasp what's being said here? - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 13:26, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
You're being too uptight, i was just asking your opinion, but this is a little much. And i thought at first maybe you'd know if there was anything official on them being counted. Don't worry, i won't make this mistake with you anymore. Thanks. SuperTron500 00:06, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
Uptight? That wasn't my intention at all. I was just inferring to whether or not you understood what I was saying. I have no intention of sounding mean, sorry if you got that impression mate. In regards to my personal opinion, without initiating the overall consensus that people are either sent to heaven or hell when they die, I assume I believe that both Mutaito and Roshi were indirectly killed by King Piccolo. I guess that would be my opinion as well in that regard. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 00:20, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

Forum:Who is the best hero?

You're probably right about the strategy part but i'm still not convinced when it comes to goku's instincts and my reasons for this are due to the number of times he's been capable of seeing things that others can't, for example when he understood the flaws of the Super Saiyan transformation but mastered it instead of trying to access higher levels of power by force unlike Vegeta, and how he knew that Gohan was fully capable of beating cell when everyone else doubted him. Unless when you said some of the greatest warriors you were referring to Vegeta as well as a number of other characters, then in that case sorry to bother you.--SalmanH 20:43, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

In the case of the forum specifics, yes, when I say some of the greatest warriors, Vegeta is obviously included in that bunch. There's no reason to specifically name him as many others were surpassed by Goku. I've been maintaining the same format for the "Who is the best villain" section as well. People keep comparing a character with another character, saying that this is proper reasoning for the certain character to be better. But those are not actual reasons but merely specifics and/or trivia. I have to remove any trivia/what-if scenarios and fuse all the same rationale under the same sections. I hope you comprehend what I'm conveying here, repetition of the same idea (Goku is the strongest/Goku is the fastest) can't be repeated more than once. But, actual developments of the character, such as King Kai's training or Roshi's training, are actual reasons and each separate from one and the other. I assume you understand the logic behind fusing the same reasons mate. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 20:52, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

Just dropping by to say hello. I am a huge Dragon Ball fan that was once a member here, but stopped coming here because of all the fan boy crap that keeps getting added to these pages. I'm sorry if I offended you in any way by saying that. I'm a huge fan of the manga series, and have little tolerance for speculation and original research. I was just editing the Super Saiyan page. -- 16:51, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

I get what you mean. I've also done major contributions to Wikipedia's DB pages, and the biggest issue there was name spellings and what was considered "encyclopedic" material. The problem is that the dub is so much different from the original, it's hard to sort out what's what, and what terms should be used. I totally forget what my username is here so I'll probably re-register under a new name. I don't know how often I'll be here though, but I'll do my best to help you out. -- 07:15, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Hello again SalmanH here, I was wondering if I could ask you something out of curiosity? Well do you know someone by the name of Andrew Norris? Now I fully realize that this could be really risky to ask you something that may be personal and I am fully aware about what is permitted on these wikis and I don't have any right to ask anything of you that is unrelated to DragonBall, since this would probably result in a number of repercussions in the near future and I promise you that this will never happen again.

What you need to do is go to user preferences and CHECK the box that says custom signature. From their just copy and paste User:PrinceZarbon/sig into the selection, just make sure it is in this form Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3.

It then will apply. You may want to create a second signature page under User:PrinceZarbon/sig2. When you do this just make it's contents Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3, and just go into your preferences again and paste it in. You can then freely edit your signature at any time.

I myself am not to sure about doing the letters, User:Nonoitall gave me a really great explanation on how the whole signature process works a few weeks ago, If you want to read it, it is on my talk page. I could probably try and figure it out but I haven't had much occasion to test around with it, something I'll probably figure out when I feel more like it. Hope that helps

Not a problem. As for your response to my suggestion on adding new features. Yeah I understand completely what you mean, managing those might be kind of tricky. Dynamic Signature

Just wondering... I notice you and Nonoitall appear to have retroactive signatures; signatures which retroactively change in old posts with your signature in them whenever you alter your signature page. Is that, like, a higher-up feature? Or do I just have the wrong kind of code written in my signature thing? (Currently "{{SUBST:User:Doc Lithius/signature}}".)

Thanks! ~ Doc Lithius [U|T|C] 02:14, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

I actually don't think I have a retroactive one currently. I altered it last back on April 24 and kept it as such. If you check my posts prior to the 24th of April you will see that my old sig is still visible and remains unaltered. If nonoitall is using a retroactive one though, it is highly possible, but I am not aware of how to alter it furthermore. I initially contacted SSJGoku93 in order for help regarding the sigs. He helped me a great deal. I myself don't know much more about it than any other member; it's possible that nonoitall understands a whole lot more in regards to toying with the sigs, etc. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 03:14, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
Well, I say this because if you look at YOUR signature in posts and you look at MY signature in posts, YOUR signature is always a simple template whereas MY signature is the whole she-bang of coding despite the fact I tell the signature to call the page as a template, not copy-and-paste its contents... I'm not sure what I could be doing wrong. I just want my signature to act like yours instead of adding 300-some characters of useless content to the page. D: ~ Doc Lithius [U|T|C] 13:29, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
Makes sense. I believe what I did back then (or SSJGoku93 did for me) was create a separate template and establish it as the sig. Then, he made another template for which he copied and pasted the initial construct there, calling it the same thing but with sig2 attached in the end. He told me to take the overall template afterward and placed it in the custom sig bar under preferences, for which it altered the sig, limiting the amount of material pasted, etc. If you follow the exact same instructions I did (under SSJGoku93's guidance), you should be able to pull it off. If you scroll up on my talk page (which I should be archiving sometime soon), near the point where the title says "Re: SIG", you will find how SSJGoku93 helped me have a substantially shorter sig, etc. It's the same instructions I followed. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 15:36, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

My edits

I've been going on an editing spree for the past few days on the articles Goku, Goku Jr, and Vegeta Jr. I was the IP that left a message on you're talk page when I was editing the Super Saiyan page last week. My issue is that my edits keep getting reverted by that SSJ2 guy (SSJAJB I think his name is). The old versions of the articles are filled with unencyclopedic material and original research, which is a huge no no according to Wikipedia's policies about it. I've been trying to clean up the articles because many of them are WAY too long (Goku for example). I just wanted to get your opinion about it. --MistressGojira 18:02, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

There isn't much to say in regards to characters like Vegeta JR and Goku JR as they are highly limited in appearance. Anything that should be mentioned, should be limited due to their extremely brief time on screen. Also, I had to remove a slew of images from their articles due to the fact that they accomplished nothing. One image of each of their forms seems to be enough for the most part. If an image accomplishes nothing new, it shouldn't be on the article, especially on articles like Vegeta JR and Goku JR, which are short and limited. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 05:14, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
I know, I've been doing my best to cut down the speculation in the Goku jr and Vegeta Jr articles, but my edits keep getting reverted. I've been editing for the past few days, and my edits keep getting reverted because people are adding the stuff that's in the FUNI dub, and I don't know if you know, but there is plenty of stuff in the FUNI dub that is ass backwards from what it says in the original Japanese. For example, you being a DBZ fan should know my reference to this, but Son Goku's power level in the Saiyan Arc wasn't "over 9,000", it was only 8,500. There's plenty others that I can make reference to, but I won't for time's sake. --MistressGojira 02:13, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Hey PrinceZarbon,

I've been replacing alot of the old "Cartoon Network" & bad quality images on a few of the articles with new sceencaps from the DR eps/movies and it seems SSJAJB is going back and reverting alot of the images. Any reason for this?, considering the new ones are a great improvement over the old. 05:04, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

There may be a few reasons. First and foremost, new additions are preferable to replacements. Second, for the most part, standard-size screenshots are preferable to widescreen format ones you've been adding. I've been forced to revert many images you changed due to prior images being particularly in standard format as opposed to the widescreen ones (even though they may be slightly better quality). And third, it's possible and plausible that other members don't like altered images, due to their usage of the images on numerous articles. That's why it's also better not to alter existing images and just to upload new ones, in order to avoid trouble with previous uploads which are currently being used. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 05:38, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi princezarbon

Just, wondering, why have you started to get rid of the quotes for characters?--Lloydssj4 15:45, 3 August 2009 (UTC)lloydssj4

The sections are non-constructive. I had removed them prior as they do not conform to establish anything. I had not checked the hero articles in quite a while so I was unaware that so many useless sections had been added to the articles. The quotes do not belong on sections for character articles. They will however be used in seasonal breakdowns of the series, where they can be accessed at any time. In either case, they do not belong on character articles. One quote per page is the limit in order to avoid unnecessary clutter. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 15:49, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

New template

Thought you may want to take a look at this little template I cooked up. I personally think this would help readers to differentiate between original and non-canon, what do you think?

DBGT Logo This article contains information of a non-canon subject or character and isn't officially part of the original manga.
Perceptive. Great idea. Though I'd remove the word "anime" at the end in order to avoid confusion as much of the non canon material itself belongs to the anime. I'd leave the word manga in there as it is indeed the original. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 01:19, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Why is it when I change something on a page and have citations to prove it, it reverts back to the old thing after a while?

TheORdinary 02:15, 4 August 2009 (UTC)TheOrdinary

It's likely that an administrator or member reverts the edit due to a few things. It's possible that the information is unnecessary or isn't noteworthy. Another reason is that the edit is non-constructive. Oftentimes, many edits are reverted due to being false, or grammatically incorrect. I'd assume that if the latter isn't the reason, then it is plausible that a member may revert the edit based on the assumption that it's completely unnecessary. If this is the case, it needs further attention. What exactly is one of the edits you are referring to, it's likely for a reason if anything. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 02:42, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

The edit I was referring to is the one about Gohan's hidden power. It originaly states that Mystic gohan is stronger than SSJ3 Goku becuase he had no problem dealing with super Buu but through extra research I found that Goku says that he could have beaten Kid buu who is the strongest version of buu to my knowledge but he decided to drag on the fight so that Vegeta and the other fighters can have a chance.

Also thanks alot for replying so fast!!!

TheORdinary 04:06, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Right mate. What you mentioned is speculation. It falls under the category of "If this guy 1 is stronger than this guy 2, then it's logical to assume that guy 1 is stronger than guy 3." It's what we call speculation and a what-if scenario. If there are no confirmed power levels, we try our best to assume nothing and we remove all information to that regard. Anything that is speculation or what-if scenario, doesn't belong on any of the articles. The only place those scenarios can be discussed is on the talk pages. Hope that helps to clarify as to why power comparison scenarios are non-constructive and should be avoided, and as to why they are reverted and removed. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 04:12, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
TheORdinary is right though. Chou Gohan being stronger than SSj3 Goku was confirmed in the story Daizenshuu. I'll see if I can find it on Kanzentai, a website that has Daiz scans and translations. Otherwise I might have to get that from Wikipedia if the reference is still there. --MistressGojira 16:48, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
It's possible to obtain these comparisons from the Daizenshuu itself, but it serves no purpose other than being noted in the trivia sections. If you can find the scan itself and link to it as reference, then it can be allowed in the trivia section, as that's what it is. However, to that end, it can't go in any other sections but the trivia for any article. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 17:30, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

But wouldn't the statement thats already there be speculation also since I haven't seen it stated anywhere that he is stronger then SSJ3 Goku.

TheORdinary 21:13, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Yes, it would. Anytime there's any power comparisons, it becomes speculation. The only time it isn't speculation is when the fight occurs, and you see the victor, and can conclude who's stronger. If for some reason a fight is cut short, there's no way to conclude one way or the other, no matter how much of an advantage one character has over another. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 23:45, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

If it is speculation why is it kept there while mine is deleted since you said that "If there are no confirmed power levels, we try our best to assume nothing and we remove all information to that regard. Anything that is speculation or what-if scenario, doesn't belong on any of the articles. The only place those scenarios can be discussed is on the talk pages."

Also I hope i'm not that much of a bother, I only hope to help this wikia because the Dragonball series is my favourite anime/manga ever!!!

TheORdinary 00:29, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

The reason for that is probably because I am either not aware of that, or it was added by some other member. I myself am responsible for keeping track of the villain pages primarily (as that's my primary interest). My comrade SSJGoku93 is responsible for keeping track of the hero pages and therefore would know of taking out such reasoning from those articles. If for some reason I do stumble upon a certain inference however, I will be sure to remove it. And you aren't a bother mate, we all want to make the best encyclopedic resource here and we couldn't do it without the aid of all these great members. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 02:47, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

The Ginyu Force, Fusion Reborn, Possible quote of the day request

Kieskivar 01:50, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

Yay, PrinceZarbon! I love those minor characters like Zarbon, the Ginyu Force, and King Cold! Poor King Cold. He came to the wrong place and the wrong time to show his power. The Ginyu Force is awesome! Hmm, I'm sure they might quite like the Fusion Dance. XD Blimey, Jeice is totally the most awesome member of the Ginyu Force, mate! I like his Australlian accent in the FUNimation (<--stupid name for a company) dub. ^_^ I was reading Jeice's info page here, and I saw that he made an appearance in Fusion Reborn. I didn't want to read more on Fusion Reborn because I don't like spoilers, but I assumed that the main threat in Fusion Reborn would be the escaped villans. I eagerly watched it but soon found out that Jeice's so-called "appearance" in the movie was about two screens of him screaming and running away when Gohan bogusly defeated Freiza in one blow. (Was that supposed to be heroic or something?) I wish Freiza and the others has been more of a threat in Fusion Reborn. Hm, well I went back and read the next line on the villian appearances in Fusion Reborn mentioned here, and saw that it said they were just breif (very breif) cameo appearances. By the way, if there's any way to make a request on what the quote of the day is, I would like to make a suggestion: "Don't stress out. It'll make you lose your hair"~Master Roshi (as Jackie Chun). Unless that's already been used. =P

I don't consider any of them minor characters as they all appear as major characters in the sagas they are in. The only way they can be considered minor is when taking the entire series as one. Otherwise, if someone looks at each saga separately, they'd find that all my favorites, coincidentally, are major characters in each pertaining saga. And yes, they all make cameo appearances later on. About qotd suggestions, I currently have over 1,500 of them lined up, but I'd be glad to hold onto some suggestions for the future. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 05:27, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
Oh, yeah, they are major characters in particular sagas. ^_^ That's nice, although I sure wish some of them could come back and stay back for a while in other sagas. It would be kind of cool if the villans could get stronger in the other world, like how Goku does. I just hope I wasn't insulting them by calling them minor characters. =/ And, yeah, I guess it must not be too hard to get a quote of the day...the hardest part must be choosing one, lol. ^_^ Kieskivar 17:04, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
Indeed they don't stay long when they come back. But none of them become outrageously more powerful after their death. Even if they did become a bit stronger, it wouldn't aid them in defeating the heroes as their power seems endless at that point. Their return is cut short due to the fact that the heroes all became way too powerful at that point. Still, they are all my favorite characters due to their affiliation, design, mannerism, storyline, and intricate detail. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 18:22, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Hey mate. You might want to check out the Manual of Style for editing help or any help in general. Among a few areas of interest, a nice encyclopedic resource for a few members and for a standard association and listing of characters would be the list of characters article. Hows it going Zarbon? At this link you'll find a new Poll template. I figured its about time we make a poll and so I went ahead and created it etc. However, despite numerous attempts I can't seem to get it to fit on the main page properly. Its a very wide template, and it causes the main page to get all messed up wherever I seem to try and place it. I did numerous tests and attempts but to simply no avail, it just does not want to fit. The obvious place would be underneath the Forum Area and Administrator Area, but even despite the fact you'd think it would fit nicely underneath those sections, it does not, and causes all of the boxes and borders to change. I'm not sure if you know much about the coding for the main page (I only know basics) but thought I'd ask for some help anyway. Thanks and lets hope we can figure this out.

Hey mate. That's very confusing. I wouldn't know how to calibrate the template in order to fit it properly. I have another suggestion though. What you can do is link to the poll. It doesn't necessarily have to be on the main page. But you can link to the poll through the main page and have the poll be a stand-alone for people interested in voting, etc. It would also help to avoid clutter. The main page seems well-formulated and constructive, we don't want to add too much stuff to it's initial construct. So I assume that because we can't maneuver the poll properly on the main page, the best we can do is link to it and have members vote like that. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 01:38, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
I was pondering that myself, where would you suggest we put the poll? I suppose on the main page we could simply make a small section under the Forum Area saying something like "Weekly Poll" and "Click the link below to cast your vote in this weeks poll!".
 talk contr
01:43, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
I assume the best place would be in the section entitled "Wiki news and updates". You can have a link there in that template for the poll under those dates you've added in that template for recent news, that would seem the best place to insert the link. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 03:29, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Reasons why ____ is the best hero

You deleted 2 of my reasons before for Master Roshi and Gohan, and I'm fine with that. But I don't see why they should be deleted while Krillin has He has been killed by Tambourine, Frieza, Buu, and Super 17. Which is pretty much the exact opposite reason as to why he is the best hero.

I believe the concise reasoning for that is due to the amount of times Krillin has been killed, moreso than any other main character. The reference to the others who killed him is trivial, it's the amount of times he has died trying to defend righteousness which is primarily being conveyed. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 21:49, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Super Buu

Hey man I'm the one who keeps editing that page. Listen, I'm saying Kid Buu is stronger but I'm saying that according to the ENGLISH manga, Super Buu is stronger. If you watch the video on youtube by Venom, you will understand why Super Buu is stronger in the English. In Japanese, Kid is stronger.

I know what you're saying but you don't seem to grasp what is being said in the versions themselves. When they say "most powerful", they are referring to the most powerful at that time in the storyline. They aren't saying most powerful of all time. Also, it is important to note that they say "Majin Buu", and not Super Buu, as they are referring to Majin Buu as one entity, not his separate forms. Therefore, in both instances, when someone says Majin Buu is the strongest, they aren't inadvertently saying that his Super Buu form is strongest. They are saying that he's the strongest in any form. That's why it's best NOT to include this reference in either article. We avoid these power comparative conclusions in order to avoid confusion altogether. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 02:48, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

I know that they mean the most powerful at that point in the storyline. Of course the characters don't know the difference between Super Buu and Kid Buu, but we, the readers, do. That's why I'm saying Super Buu is stronger according to the English manga. Maybe its right we shouldn't put it in an article, but if anybody does it should say it is implied or something like that. So for instance, can I put something like this in the article? "According to the English manga produced by Viz Media, it is implied that Super Buu w/ Gohan, Goten, Kid Trunks, and Piccolo Absorbed is stronger than Kid Buu"?

That's exactly what we're trying to avoid. Why are you comparing to Kid Buu? That is speculation. We don't allow speculation of any kind. Did you officially see an episode where Kid Buu fights Super Buu? No. It's like saying Omega Shenron is the strongest villain and can beat Oolong with ease. But then, we can't just insert that on a whim as it's speculation. We'd actually have to see the action take place in order for us to insert it in an article. So, of course you can't insert that as it's not only inconclusive, but also false to the extent that we never see Super Buu defeat Kid Buu to know who's stronger. We can't add assumptions. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 14:02, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

But dude, there is evidence in the ENGLISH manga supporting Super Buu as stronger than Kid Buu. I'm comparing to him because obviously they are the 2 strongest villains in Z, canon-wise. And of course, Omega Shenron is the strongest villain in the whole series, that's fact.

You don't seem to understand how inconsequential that is. We can't assume anything and we can't incorporate that into the trivia section as it isn't trivia, it's a power comparison. I've had this same problem most evidently with people who kept randomly adding power comparisons between Broly and Cell. Then people will have a debate on the Kid Buu article and add more confusion. There is neither a need for power comparisons nor a use for them. It is irrelevant who is stronger than who. Information like that belongs on talk pages, as much of it is non-constructive and useless. Even if the Viz translation inaccurately states what you say it states, it's still not noteworthy to have in consideration to the fact that Kid Buu is officially stronger (since Kid Buu is Majin Buu's oldest and most insane form, whilst his original untapped power had been sealed away until he assumed his Kid Buu form, which was described as "pure evil".) So, what you basically want to add is an error in translation in one version of the manga, which, I have repeatedly said, is inconsequential since most fans know that Kid Buu is indeed the strongest and original form. Many inconsistencies and errors exist in the translation, it isn't worthwhile to note all of them, especially the ones that are limited in the timeframe they are being said at. In this specific case, the reference is not specifically to Super Buu. It is for Majin Buu, not the form of Super Buu. He was merely at the Super Buu level when the statement was made in the manga translation you are referring to. It's logical, and normal to assume that Kid Buu is the strongest, but we shouldn't note either because we want to avoid confusion as best we can. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 19:58, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
I have an idea! Why not make a Power Comparison page in Kame House? In case our IP friend doesn't know, Kame House is within the forum section of Dragon Ball Wiki. On a page like that, I think it would be alright to bring up things like this that many people feel are important, but may not belong on a character's information page. -- Kamehameha 10X Kamehameha 20:10, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
Ay, my dear comrade. I've been encouraging people to have these power comparison discussions in the Forum area, as that seems like the proper place for them. Members have, oftentimes, added the same power comparisons back to the articles even after I've removed them, not once, not twice, but countless times. Power comparisons do not belong on the articles. And yes, the forum area was designed for discussions in that regard, as are talk pages, so I encourage a small section for members interested in that, in order to avoid these instances on the articles themselves mate. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 20:15, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
Decide who's the best here! -- Kamehameha 10X Kamehameha 20:17, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

I agree with you that Kid Buu is the strongest form of Majin Buu as a whole, but what I'm saying is that there is evidence supporting the Super Buu form of the whole Majin Buu entity as stronger than Majin Buu's original Kid Buu form only in the Viz manga. I agree, comparing it to Kid Buu in the trivia is unnecessary, but that was not what I was trying to do. I was saying that the English manga supports Buuhan as the strongest villain in Z, I didn't say he was stronger than Kid Buu (though the previous statement already for the most part implies that). Is this what you are trying to avoid? If so, I will start a power comparison page then, as I am in full cooperation with that too

There's already a power comparison page. It's linked in the forum for you. You can discuss there who you feel is stronger, but none of that belongs in the articles themselves. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 14:27, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Category: Deities

Hey, PrinceZarbon, another user and I are working on the Samurai Jack wiki, and I need some help when creating this page (title of this message) will it automatically add characters to it if I add them to the category.

The reason I'm asking is because I need to add text when creating a new page so for that reason I think that there's another way or am I wrong. Thank you very much in advance for the help or if you even attempt to help, I know it's very strange for a person to hear that but I suppose I felt the need to do so.--SalmanH 20:20, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Yes, most, if not all, category templates are automatic. Meaning, if you added them to the character, then they should all appear in the category itself automatically. It depends on what type of category you are using. For the "deities" you describe, I assume you'd need an auto-tagging system, of which I'm not sure is available to your Sam Jack wiki (nice show, btw), but if it is, should be present at the bottom of each edit under auto-tagging. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 20:30, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

I don't use the coding version or the text stylized format for editing. I use the basic editing that is present in wikipedia format as it's the type I've been accustomed to using. Opinions on different things.(Dragon Ball Evolution being one of them)

Hiya PrinceZarbon. I am an extremely large fan of Dragon Ball/Z/GT(Broly being my favorite character as you can probably tell from my username) and I was hoping to get a good Live-Action Dragon Ball movie. I haven't seen Dragon Ball Evolution yet and I'm doubting that I will ever want to. From what I hear and have seen, many characters have been taken out of the story, which I understand in a way since there is a need to shorten the large story of Dragon Ball, but still. Other knowledge that I have received is of who created the Dragon Balls in the movie storyline and what Saiyans are. Apparently, human monks from Earth created the Dragon Balls. Now, this would be completely understandable if it wasn't for the fact that without Namekians having created the Dragon Balls, when the time comes, what will be the storyline instead of the travel to Namek for the Dragon Balls? and for that mater, how will Frieza be introduced if he will be?

I am not completely sure on what I know of about the Saiyans in the movie storyline, but apparently King Piccolo uses Goku in his evil scheme to take over the world by Goku being controlled by the Oozaru which in the movie storyline isn't a Saiyan transformation but one single being? I understand that they have to change somethings, but isn't that going a little overboard?--BrolyTheGod 21:39, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Firstly, I suppose tell me if what I know is true, and if it is, please tell me of your thoughts and opinions of them. And of course, if you have seen the movie, what is your opinion on it, and do you think there were any other flaws in your view of it?

I feel there are far too many flaws to the Evolution movie. I've expressed a few of them, if not all, in the Dragon Ball Evolution Forum chat. Please refer to that discussion for more chat, and to cast your vote. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 21:39, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for telling me. With that known, I suppose there is no longer any need for this conversation. I will be sure to put up another conversation on this "User talk" if I have anything else to discuss. Farewell for now.--BrolyTheGod 21:49, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

While looking over the Wikipedia page on Dragon Ball, I couldn't help but think that linking to this Dragon Ball Wikia site would be a great way, probably the best way, for users looking for more information on Dragon Ball to find it. I went ahead and added the link, but a frequenter of the Wikpedia page quickly reverted it. Upon discussing the matter with that user on his talk page, I found only short answers with no valid reasoning. Since the policies on Wikipedia favor keeping a page the same, I was wondering, if you agree that this site is a worthy source of information, if you would take a look at the user's talk page, and put in a few words. If the user is incorrect, but will not change his/her mind, we can always alternate adding the change to avoid 3RR breaches, or even get more users of this page to help.

Either way, thanks for checking this out. -- 21:11, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Collectonian has always generally had a problem with authority, and I'm not saying that to be mean. Quite a few members on wikipedia have a problem with control. Off the top of my head, TTN is another. They seem to dislike having proper and trivial information, in both instances and have a certain stigma for "main" information only. They are both very cordial and proper users, but they don't seem to want any information that doesn't pass their grade of "notability." While this wikia does concentrate solely on factual material and is officially NOT fancruft, due to me and my comrades daily protection and avid screening of the pages, it has maintained this reputation quite well. But, we do allow all the factual information here, whereas wikipedia is highly limited and doesn't allow all the same amount of information, it is very "summarized", so to speak. Of course I would be willing to speak my mind in terms of factual and concise evidence here, and all in the similar format to that of wikipedia, but to be honest, I really don't think Collectonian specifically would agree to it, due to the articles in a constant flux and change. I can't promise that he'd agree to allow this as the accurate resource I know and you know it has become. He'd most likely shun the encyclopedic resource as fancruft, although we all know it's purely fact. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 00:59, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Ay mate! I added my say on the matter, though I really don't think it'll do any good. They already are of the mindset that it's an inaccurate resource, yadda yadda, and I don't think they will ever think otherwise even though me and my comrades have seriously struggled to make it a highly accurate resource. Collectonian goes by the mentality that the wikia is still the way it was before (when it was first created), and these people aren't open to the overwhelming positive change that has taken place here, the influx of articles itself is an accomplishment in and of itself. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 03:10, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
I saw your comment, and it's quite well-worded. I agree that Collectonian won't see it our way, but hey, what can you do. He won't even agree that most people that edit Wikipedia pages are fans of those pages' content. I mean, who wants to maintain information on a topic that they are uninterested in? -- 03:13, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

New infobox and it's usage

I created a new infobox that can be used for conflicts and wars such as the Saiyan-Tuffle war etc. Just thought you might like to see it and offer your opinion on it. One of the projects I'm going to be working on soon is trying to create articles for all of the major conflicts/wars that took place in the DB universe, and figured that template would make it look more professional and easier to understand. It looks very nice, although I'm not sure how many places it would be used. Seems a bit limited in context. I mean, where else could we use it other than the Saiyan-Tuffle war... the Saiyan Genocide by Frieza... or the onslaught of Kid Buu across the galaxy. There aren't too many instances this could be used. But personally, I really like the format. I wish there were more wars in the series so we could add it more frequently and in more instances. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 01:02, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
Other than the ones you named, the Kanassan war, Tritek war and the Invasion of Planet Meat to name a few. I also plan on creating one for the King Piccolo wars, and possibly even one about the whole conflict on Namek, as that technically could be considered a war I suppose. If I think of any others I'll be sure to include them too, let me know if you think of any as well.

Come to think of it, Akira Toriyama's titling of my favorite saga is in fact: "Battlefield Namek" and "War on Namek", so technically, the battles against Zarbon, Dodoria, Cui, Appule, the Ginyu Force, and Frieza can be considered a war, a war against the Frieza empire. And nice spotting those mate. I'd also include the Shikk invasion if only I knew what the casualties were, oh and I guess Arlia also. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 01:27, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
Definitely, Namek pretty much fits the bill. I had even considered Earth's Special Forces vs. Vegeta and Nappa a battle/conflict as well, what do you think about that one. Shikk sounds familiar but what was it again, I can't seem to remember and yes Arlia would work as well.

Shikk is the name of the planet that Nappa, Raditz, and Vegeta conquered in three days. They return, and Zarbon teases them, saying he could have done it in just one (which is true). He then proceeds to tell Frieza "what more can you expect... from a monkey!". My favorite quote. There's also another planet mission/assignment that Zarbon gives Vegeta when Vegeta's very young, and Vegeta manages to obliterate all them by himself, the same time that planet Vegeta was obliterated and he was kept alive. I think it was planet Plant, but not sure. But Shikk is a definite operation ordered by Frieza, Zarbon, and Dodoria and carried out by Nappa, Raditz, and Vegeta in a three-day radius. Bardock's team was wiped out on planet meat after the meat operation by Dodoria and his elites. I suppose that would be a part of the Meat operation as well. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 01:38, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
Ah now I remember the Skikk part, we should definitely make one about that, it may be very limited but does indeed count. In regards to Bardock and his team, I included that in the Invasion of Planet Meat.

Yes, but there's also the mission/assignment that Zarbon gave to Vegeta at his young age. I think it was planet Plant. He destroyed all the inhabitants, it was observed in the end of the Bardock movie. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 02:39, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
It couldn't be Plant, Planet Plant was the name of the Tuffle planet before it became Planet Vegeta. I'll check to see if the name of the planet he was on was mentioned.

Ay, but I'm sure it was another escapade in and of itself mate. We just need to get the accurate name of it. I just thought of another in the meantime, it was the Arkosians who traded with the Saiyans, as described by King Kai. Though that would be a Saiyan campaign, it allowed them to secure spaceships for other-worldly travel. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 03:04, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi Again

After rewatching some DBZ, it seems that Frieza kills Goku, and then Goku is immediately brought back to life by a wish from the Dragon Balls. I noted this in the 2 related articles, but Silver Sinspawn deleted them, yelled at me, and has not given a reason why Goku may not have been killed. Gohan and Frieza both agree that he was, and I don't see why he may not have been. :-/

Can you explain this? -- 23:25, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Goku never died on Namek mate. The translation in the dub leaves people wondering about Goku's fate. He never died on Namek. He merely escaped on one of the Ginyu Force's pods. Silver Sinspawn has a tendency to get angry rather easily, but he's still correct in this minor instance. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 23:28, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
I didn't mean after the planet explodes, I mean during the fight, right before the wish to restore everyone killed by Frieza. Gohan and Frieza agree that Goku is dead, and Goku is not seen again until he rises from the water after the wish. I've got a link to the English version I watched here: -- 23:33, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
Yes mate. That too. It's a dubbing inaccuracy. Anyone who knows the original Japanese version and manga reference, they'd know Goku never died, although he was taken down on several instances by Frieza. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 23:35, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
So should I make a note that he dies in the English anime version? -- 23:37, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
No, he doesn't die in that version either. It's just an inaccuracy in dubbing. What that means is that they make it sound like he perished, but he comes up again and he's fine. He never died, so making a note would be inconsequential as most people know he didn't die. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 23:38, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
I wish they had tried a little harder when they dubbed Dragon Ball. I think 90% of American fans probably believe that Goku died at that point, due to its Toonami airing. That's pretty disappointing if he wasn't supposed to have, oh well. -- 23:42, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
That's why toonami version is now considered defunct in terms of accuracy, hence people's choice of the funi version, not just for its original japanese music, but because it remained true to the actual speech. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 23:43, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

I'm making a note on the dub page. This way, if anyone else gets confused in the same way I was, we can send them there. -- 23:48, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

No idea what happened on that page. The only change I made was fixing a dead link to "anime". This is the second time the format stuff happened though, very strange. -- 22:40, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Yes, it's happened before. I don't know why it happens. There's another thing that's become annoying. Many members have been adding useless line breaks to the articles themselves. I wouldn't mention it, but I have to keep reverting that as well. You've done it a few times yourself (it's basically empty spaces in between the beginning and end of the articles)... please don't do it as I will be forced to undo it and it grows rather annoying having to revert all that. There's a proper formatting for all the articles, there's no need for spaces in between. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 22:46, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

I never actually put spaces in articles, and I think most other users probably just have it happen by accident, too. The articles sometimes move lines around near the bottom of the pages when (even small) changes are made higher on the page. It's impossible to see when this happens until after a change is made, and only by comparing the versions. If I were you, I would just forget about and focus on content changes. -- 00:37, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

I see what you mean about some of the other articles I've edited. It's entirely unpredictable when this will happen, and it's more important to me to take out untrue trivia or fix broken links than to worry about spacing at the bottom of the page. I hope you understand. -- 00:58, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

Removal of image in World Trade Organization

Hi, PrinceZarbon. As I've seen, you removed the image I added in World Trade Organization saying it was "unnecessary" but I have some reasons for what it should be left:

  1. It is a more or less extense article and has just two pictures having the possibility to expand the number of them.
  2. To source the information in the article with an actual picture.

Benitoperezgaldos 23:28, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

It's useless in that specific article to the extent that a tertiary character be displayed. The deaths of the rest of the members are more crucial and would convey a more suitable message instead of a scene (which was filler to the anime) that didn't portray anything but to build Vegeta's own story arc. Vegeta strays from the organization itself as he's a loose cannon and doesn't follow orders. In fact, we want to try and avoid images of defunct members on the article to avoid confusion. That image is already being used in Vegeta's article itself, so it would be unnecessary in the WTO article, as it depicts neither a high-ranking member of the organization, nor a participant. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 23:49, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
Ok, so tertiary characters pictures should be avoided in that kind of articles. Benitoperezgaldos 00:16, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

Re:Unnecessary Line Breaks

User:SSJ2AJB Your welcome, PrinceZarbon. I'm pretty annoyed too that people keep adding useless line breaks for no apparent reason. Sure, I'm okay with people using one line break when starting and finishing a paragraph, but a lot like six, seven, or eight is unacceptable. When I was visiting Gogeta's article the other day, this is the version I was not pleased with. There were many line breaks, there was a large picture of Gogeta firing the Big Bang Kamehameha at Omega Shenron, and the pictures were scattered around in the wrong places. Luckily I corrected the problem and edited the page so that its format was much better and the pictures were in the appropriate places. Whoever did this needs to be blocked because this is just major vandalism.

Anyway, I'm just glad I could help out with this useless line breaking problem. If I see any more big line breaks on other articles, I'll cut them down to one line break. Alright, now take care and drop by my talk page any time you want. Thanks!

Well, we wouldn't want that would we? Ha ha. But seriously, I'm glad could help you with all of these unnecessary edits by some users. In my opinion, if these users are going to edit something, it should be something positive to improve the article, not something negative that will worsen it. Those types of users need to be blocked if they do negative things like that.

Moving a Page

Didn't Vegeta survive a spirit bomb? -- 03:09, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Vegeta is neither a villain nor a primary villain. He was an antagonist and ended up joining with the Z fighters (why I hate him so much, for example). Also, the magnitude of the spirit bomb for which Frieza was hit and managed to survive is notable as trivia, considering it was the device/instrument of destruction in the case of both Kid Buu and Omega Shenron. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 03:11, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

I see why you would think that Vegeta is not a villain, and he is, in fact, only categorized on this site as a "former villain." However, since Vegeta is a villain when he is hit by the spirit bomb (note the present tense use for fiction), Vegeta is a villain who is hit by a spirit bomb, despite not being a villain during other Dragon Ball events. I agree with you that Vegeta is not a primary villain, so I think that "primary" should go into the bit of trivia about the spirit bomb, for it to remain valid. -- 03:24, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

I'm glad you recognize that I've thoroughly removed all the "villain" category from those who are not villains but serve as antagonists and anti-heroes, or are only former villains. In the end, I only like villains, not people who switch sides, so therefore, yes Vegeta doesn't qualify with the villains. And yes, I will add the word "primary" so as to avoid confusion. However, Vegeta was never a villain really, he was however an antagonist and I may end up altering the category title to "former antagonists" to avoid even more confusion, as what makes a villain is staying a villain, flat out. (hence all my favorite characters are villains who don't ever switch sides as that would be traitorous; also why I dislike Vegeta, Android 17, Fat Buu, and Nuova Shenron for being traitors) - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 03:28, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Sorry to be such a knit picker, I'm just a stickler for grammar issues. -- 03:36, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

That's alright. I appreciate you bringing up these things as they help clarify the articles themselves. There's something else that's been bothering me. In the case of people adding useless gibberish to the articles, it's become more and more common. Most recently, the two most annoying things I'm being faced with daily is having to remove these useless line breaks in the articles; people keep adding spaces between the beginning, end, and mid-sections of the articles, that's pretty much a form of vandalism as it serves no purpose but to make the article look all-out pointless. You've done it before, maybe inadvertently, check it mate: If you can help me reduce this problem that has been growing, I'd appreciate it. The only line breaks should be in between certain sections, not a hooplah all in the beginning and end. The format of an article is the same for all of them, regardless of how much information there is in an article, there's no reason to add line breaks, they are useless. The other annoying facet is having to deal with images and maintaining them in the correct format. People have added images at random and in the middle of paragraphs. I'm forced to not only resize them and bring them into proper orderly formatting, but also shift them into the same format, such as right, left, right, left, etc. for the entire article. Images aren't supposed to be piled up on top of each other. They are to be in that same format. These two things, the formatting, and line breaks, have become the two methods of vandalism I face daily at random. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 03:52, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

I see what you mean, and I'll try to help in the future. As I stated in our last discussion of my own involvement, it is not actually me adding the lines, but rather it is most likely the page formats adjusting to the addition or subtraction of text within the articles. Since then, I have been looking back at the articles after editing them in an attempt to remove any unwanted blank lines that the site creates. I will continue to do so, and I will fix any pages in which I find evident spacing issues.

Though I understand your frustration over this recurring issue, I urge you not to block any users who appear to have added extra lines, as long as a constructive edit was made at the same time. They are most likely also victims of a formatting glitch, and probably meant no harm. -- 04:15, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

I agree. I can't block anyone as long as constructive edits are made. The only time I block is when someone flat out vandalizes articles with curses or foul language, and that is also rather common. Some random ip's feel the need to put in various curse words... or blank articles and insert gibberish or foul language. Things like that are inexcusable. But in the case of line breaks, it's just annoying and I don't know the major cause for it happening so frequently. Although not a block offense, it still takes a lot of patience to re-format everything. Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 04:38, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Flashing Kamehameha

The Flashing Kamehameha.

Hey PrinceZarbon, I need your help. About a month ago back in July, I've opened up a new article called the Flashing Kamehameha (you may have visisted this page before). It's a golden light flashing version of the Kamehameha used by Gohan in his Super Saiyan 2 form. It was seen and performed in the DBZ Episode 217. He used the attack a few times to try and destroy Majin Buu's egg, but it wasn't powerful enough. The last attack sent Majin Buu's egg into the air. I then saw Gohan firing a larger and more powerful Flashing Kamehameha up at the egg, to no effect again. I thought I would call that move the "Super Flashing Kamehameha" and tried to find a screenshot for it at a website called, "", but they didn't have it.

I've seen that you have been uploading images of characters for the daily quotes. However, this time, can you upload the image of Gohan firing the Super Flashing Kamehameha against Majin Buu's egg? Here's a link to Youtube showing Gohan firing the Super Flashing Kamehameha up at Majin Buu's cacoon. The attack will be shown at 5:04 so you'll have a good idea what the Super Flashing Kamehameha looks like. Come talk to me when you get a chnace about the subject. Thanks!

Gohan charges the Super Flashing Kamehameha.

SSJ2AJB Well, I do appreciate the image you uploaded. For real I do. But to be honest, it kind of wasn't the image I was talking about. But I do appreciate what you did.

The image I was talking about was the one after this image of Gohan charging the attack. After Gohan charges the attack, the screen will then zoom out, where Gohan will be at the lower right-hand corner still charging the attack. He's saying, "Ka, me, ha, me" Then he shouts, HA! as he fires a huge white energy blast to the left of the screen. You see that white aura from the right of the technique? Well, that will be Gohan firing the attack.

The full visible version of the Super Flashing Kamehameha will be shown for about a second, so you've got pause the screen immediately as soon as Gohan fires the attack. Once you capture the screen showing the full visible version of Gohan firing the Super Flashing Kamehameha, you can take that screenshot and upload it here.

Well that's all I have to say because I have to go to bed now, so I'll talk to you tomorrow to see if there any concerns or questions you want to ask me. Goodnight, PrinceZarbon. (Sorry if I was putting a bit of pressure on you.)

Man, you are so close, you are so very close, but I think I was being a little too specific. The image I was talking about was the one in the upper right hand corner of this image here. That image in the upper right hand corner is the Super Flashing Kamehameha that I was talking about. You can take that image of the Super Flashing Kamehameha in the right hand corner and make its own image and then upload it here.

Yes!!! Thank you!!! Thanks a lot for uploading this picture, man! I’ve been trying to look for this image for weeks, but now you’ve uploaded the image I was talking about! Now I can finally start on the Super Flashing Kamehameha page! Thanks a lot for doing this man! You’re the best!

You're welcome. Though you should use all the images to convey the attack better on its actual article page, the release of the blast and impact are just as important as the blast itself. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 21:56, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

Before i get to fixing that, let's clarify a bit. On Garlic, Garlic Jr and his minions, and all other exterrestrials you want me to remove the Monsters catagory? You told me in the message Yakon can be considered a monster though, so was that a mistake? I'm pretty sure Yakon would be an exterrestrial aswell. Yetti's also counted as a monster. What about the Demons catagory? I thought King Piccolo and his spawn were originally demons. Let me know what all you want me to fix. SuperTron500 05:52, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Alright. The only ones who are monsters are Yakon, Buyon, and Yetti, unless you can think of others. I don't remember Garlic Junior's men being "demons" either. The accurate category for all of them would be "extraterrestrials" and in some cases like Dabura, "demons". The monster category needs to be removed altogether from most of those characters except for Yakon, Buyon, and Yetti. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 05:56, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Let me set this up for you so you can fixate those I missed:

Mustard, Salt, Vinegar, Ginger, Spice, Nicky, Sansho - Makyan, Extraterrestrial
Dabura, Lucifer - demon
Yakon, Buy, Yetti, - Extraterrestrial, Monster
Angira, Wings, Medamatcha, Commander Zeeun, Kakuja - Extraterrestrial

Okay. What about the demons catagory for Garlic, Garlic Jr, King Piccolo and his sons? Do you want me to remove that aswell when i remove the monsters thing from their catagories? SuperTron500 06:09, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
I listed above for the ones specifically who are not demons or monsters. Let me clarify who the only demons are so they aren't taken out:

Demons - Garlic, Garlic Jr., King Piccolo and his sons, Dabura, Lucifer

The demon category needs to be removed just as the monster from the Spice Boys and Lord Slugs men. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 06:12, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

For the Saibamen and Bio-Men pages do you want me to remove the monsters catagory? Is Buyon an actual Extraterrestrial like Yetti or Yakon, because i don't think that's even listed on his page to begin with. Thanks. SuperTron500 06:27, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
buyon is not an extraterrestrial. saibamen are technically monsters. it can be left for them. bio-men i'm not so sure as they are biomechanical dna constructs. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 06:31, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Moving Pages

Hi again. Recently, I've been going through pages fixing titles, mostly just correcting case issues. However, there is apparently some anti-spam filter that stops me from doing this more than a few times in a period of time. Any advice? -- 02:21, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

I believe this is due to anti-spam filter. I believe it's due to member moving privileges themselves. Members aren't allowed to move more than a certain amount in order to avoid vandalism of a heightened scale. However, this construct is cross-wiki, it's not something that's limited to the DB wiki alone, so we don't have control over it to the extent that the wiki follows this same filter all over. But I agree, it is a frustrating and annoying setback, even though it can prevent real vandalizers from spamming. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 00:39, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Re:Quad-shot Images

User:SSJ2AJB Hmm, I don’t think I agree with that. I think it’d be a bit pointless if we put up quad-shots for how the techniques develop up to the point they are fired. I upload images of techniques whether they are being charged or fired and when I see their pictures, I write down captions to specify what is happening in the picture. But if we use quad-shot images for techniques, it would be hard to use captions to specify the quad-shots in the four corners of the images altogether.

An example of this is the Punishing Blaster image you’ve uploaded recently. I went to that page yesterday, and its image caption said, “Frieza unleashes his Punishing Blaster.” However, when I saw the image, all I saw in the image was Frieza forming the Punishing Blaster, charging it, and extending it forward, but he didn’t really fire it. It’s not like we can put in the image captions, “In the upper left hand corner, Frieza forms the energy in his hand for the Punishing Blaster. In the upper right hand corner, Frieza forms an energy sphere. In the lower left hand corner, Frieza increases the size of the Punishing Blaster. In the lower right hand corner, Frieza raises his hand forward to fire the Punishing Blaster.”

If we use the quad-shot images for techniques like the Punishing Blaster, it would leave the image for the technique in an awkward position. I think it’s best if we just stick to the singular images of techniques so the viewer can have a better idea of what the technique looks like and so that its captions can make much more sense.

We were thinking

Hey Prince zarbon, me and FinalFlash15 were Talkin the other day and we got a great idea! we were wondering if we made a tournament on Kame House and the and the users will answer who they think will win, we got the thing set up, we got 64 DB,DBZ,DBGT characters in a tournement already and we were just checking if this is okay with you. hope you like it LSSJTrunks and Final Flash15 4:47 Augest 21 2009

Dont worry Zarbon is already in, me and Finalflash15 will start it in a day or so , Thanks a lot and see how far Zarbon can go hehe LSSJTrunks 4:56 Augest 21 2009

Here's an idea: why not turn this into the front page poll for a few weeks? Daily character battle polls have done wonders for sites like Gamefaqs. -- 00:04, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

I don't think it would work as poll since 64 characters on a poll would seriously take up way too much space. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 00:08, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

I meant like 2 characters get voted for every day in a bracket, representing the fights, similarly to the show. It'd take 63 days to do, but it would be a lot of fun! -- 00:11, 22 August 2009 (UTC

me and LSSJTrunks are guessing its okay but he doesnt sign in everyday and i dont have a computer because it broke. it would take more than 63 days more like over 100, at first we thought of that but then i remembered Kame house. by the way Prince Zarbon Android 19, Cui, Dodoria, Frieza, the Whole ginyu force, Pui pui, and many other villains will enter. also Zarbon has some advantage because there are some Dragon ball characters like commander blue or Tao who dont stand a chance against Zarbon. so me and LSSJTrunks will decide on the poll but still, the other other users like the weekly poll to have whats currently posted like who is your favorite super saiyan, well its also of course up too prince zarbon if he wants it on the wwekly poll Final Flash 15 5:19 Augest 21 2009

Personally, I'd rather we kept it in the forum. Seems like a bit of a hassle to me to have a poll with that many names on it. I recommend you ask my comrade SSJGoku93 if you're that enthusiastic about it, 10x Kamehameha. Though I personally feel this would be a hassle. I like the idea of keeping it in a forum myself and not turning the weekly polls into a "best character" vote-fest since, let's be serious, the main page isn't a forum... it's meant for more informative reasons. I can see why it'd be fun though, although fun may not be the priority here. We really don't want to clump the main page with a very long list of 64 names. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 00:23, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Trust me, a 64 person tournament with a 1 vs. 1 daily format would take 63 days : ) Also, it'd only need 2 names on the page at a time, the 2 fighters who's turn it is. But, if PrinceZarbon doesn't want to put it in his poll, that's his call I suppose : ( -- 00:27, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

It's not my call alone mate. Like I said, my comrade SSJGoku93 makes much of the decisions in terms of the polls. I request to him many suggestions and we work things out this way. However, if he agrees to it, I won't stand in the way as long as it's not 64 characters on one poll. That would look really long. I'm currently handling other operations on the site, such as the daily quotes, forum submissions, as always, and random news updates. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 00:33, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

I never said 1 VS 1 or LSSJTRunks, also prince zarbon i was wondering if we could use like gohan kid , gohan teen, and gohan adult on it because we checked it and we put a few characters on twice and we need to fill in some spaces Final Flash15

Personally, I don't think that's a good idea as Gohan is one character, whether he's kid, teen, or adult. I can help give you some ideas for people missing though. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 00:41, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Dont worry we forget the movies and Bardock so were set with 64 characters again from DB,DBZ,and DBGT but mainly DBZ so its fair since its the longest of the 3. Final Flash15 hey Prince zarbon its me LSSJTrunks , im just wondering if we have to draw out the tournament because neither me or my cousin are good at computer drawings or we can make it like just writing it down like this

Haha, I think it's really funny that someone is asking you this. -- 03:34, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

I no longer see humor in this as I'm finding it rather odd how after all this time, people still talk about something so inconsequential and fictitious like AF as if it really exists. It's amazing how mankind finds a way to stimulate itself, especially when there are no boundaries left to cross. In the case of fake fan-fiction, why in the name of history would someone want to have an encyclopedia for something that doesn't exist...? There are stranger things in this life, I'm sure, but I'd rank this right up there on the weird-ometer, ay mate, I would. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 03:50, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

The wikia is about a doujinshi that indeed exists, I also thougth that af didn't existed because all the images are done with photoshop but it is a good doujinshi, the best one in my opinion, visit my userpage and read it by yourself, and don't think I am stupid, I know that toriyama will NEVER continue the series, but the two dojinshis are very good and the administrator of that wikia is some retarded that don´t knows anything about a wikia, you are the boss here and you hasn´t even read the dragonball AF article in this wikia, it says something about one of those dojinshis.

That's why I asked you what exactly you need help with... because as you can see, I can barely manage to check frequently here... so I'd rather not occupy myself with something that isn't a work of Toriyama. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 23:35, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

The Demon King

Is it King Piccolo? Is it Dabura? Is it Shula? Was there some dubbing error(s)? Unless I'm missing something, it looks like 3 characters hold the same title! -- 06:52, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

I'll try to clear this up for you. King Piccolo (and many nomadic Namekians) call themselves "demon" kings although none are truly demons. They are extraterrestrials/aliens. Shula is a demon but not the king of demons. He's merely an underworld ruler. Dabura is the true king of demons. That should clear things up for you mate. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 07:04, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Failed Fusion

Would it be a good idea to make a failed fusion article? This would be a descriptive page about Fat/Skinny Gotenks, Fat/Skinny Tiencha, Veku, Skinny gogeta, etc. Good idea,or no? --Team Midgars Silver Sinspawn 07:12, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

The failed fusions should all be on Gotenks' article, for the fat/skinny. Same goes for Tiencha and Gogeta. Unless, of course, they are separate characters. Hmm... are they separate characters or are they incarnations of the existing fusions... kinda hard to tell really. But decipher that and we'll know. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 07:18, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

I mean, Veku has his own name, but that's also a movie example, so who knows...-- 07:20, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

It's actually crucial that we know, it's the deciding factor as to whether or not the "character" should have a separate article or be listed in one article with all failed fusions. Right now, I think it would be a good idea to just have one article encompassing all the failed fusions. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 07:29, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Done.svg Done -- 01:24, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Just between us

Do you think Baby Vegeta's last transformation (3rd form) before going Golden Great Ape is the equivalent of super saiyan 3? Of course it's only speculation, not for the articles, but I was just wondering if you had an opinion. I'm kind of torn, as he has the no-eye-brow-ridge things, but his hair never gets as long as Goku's or Gotenks'. -- 01:20, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Personally, I feel that Baby is more powerful than any other pl before him. I feel that GT villains are intended to be more powerful than the Z villains, even though it may not appear so in some cases. Rilldo was stated to be more powerful than Buu, so yes, I feel Baby is more powerful than SS3 as SS3 failed to take out Buu. And Super 17 is intended to be more powerful than him... and Omega is intended to be the most powerful, flat out. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 01:24, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Oh I agree that he was at least as strong as Goku SS3, I meant specifically do you think Baby pushed Vegeta's body into a Super Saiyan 3 trnasformation, much like Babidi's (attempted) control pushed it into Super Saiyan 2. -- 01:28, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

I don't think that happens... Veggie's body never progresses to the SS3 form, even in Baby's body. Eyes, etc. are not a deciding factor (Broly has lunatic eyes but he isn't a SS3) it has more to do with their own control and mind in combat. Vegeta progressed to SS4 (with Bulma's help) but not SS3. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 01:31, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

I agree that Broly never goes SS3 (except maybe in a certain soon-to-be-released game), but then again, he doesn't have the trademark eyebrow ridges. -- 01:35, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

I have a strong hatred for all SS forms in general (they look normal to me, nothing special) so I don't really contemplate the "what-if" scenarios attached to the fanboyism related to them. I also don't have any feeling for the eyebrow ridges either, I find that rather boring and lame in appearance. And their overall primate look pisses me off too (the two groups of animals I actually dislike are primates and rodents). I like the alien characters [non-human-oids because they are designed generally very exquisite and non-human skinned, or lame regular folk. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 01:40, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Haha, I guess I should have guessed. Maybe I'll try my luck in a forum. -- 01:43, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Actually, most people on the DBZ wikia are greatly fond of the Saiyan characters. It's just that I'm not. The only Saiyans I actually like/love are Nappa... and Raditz and Paragus (a little). - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 01:46, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

In Regards To Nappa

I Believe Nappa Has Shown a kinder side, suggesting vegeta Not destroy arlia,as they said they were their heroes, and when he suggested to revive Raditz, but it is possible to just be these two instances --Team Midgars Silver Sinspawn 06:39, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Seconded. -- 06:40, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Wrong on both instances. Nappa doesn't have a kinder side. His brain capacity limits him to think further. It's merely the translation in dubbing, makes it seem like he does. However, Nappa does suggest that Raditz be revived but once Vegeta mentions their real motive, Nappa easily agrees with Vegeta, calling his fallen comrade a weakling and a waste. This is useless to discuss, the best evaluation here is that Nappa is easily swayed by Vegeta's decisions. He doesn't think for himself more than half the time, and when he does, he merely thinks to destroy entire navies or cities/towns at random. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 16:37, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Is there a name

For the technique where Goku fires a Kamehameha, but then stops it just before it reaches the opponent, only to burst out from behind it and hit them with a surprise attack? I couldn't find it here, but Goku's used it a few times in Dragon Ball. -- 08:31, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Here you go mate... Instant Transmission Super Kamehameha - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 16:41, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

No not that, I know the instant transmission kamehameha, I'm talking about one that is fired in place, the beam is released, the beam just about reached the opponent but then stops, and goku flies up through the length of the beam and punches his surprised opponent. A couple instances are in "Goku Goes to Demon Land" and "Goku vs. Krillin." -- 20:17, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

It may be listed in the techniques category. Although I don't think it's a separate maneuver, just a combination attack. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 21:54, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Why do you..?

Hate heroes so much? Just wondering..

For a few reasons.
  1. Their design is the first. They all look alike (and very humanoid) non-alien and non-colorful (without magnificent hue). And their design is boring, yellow hair doesn't add depth to them... they're still regular looking folk. Basically, they don't look as awesome as the villains in design.
  2. Their initial characteristics, mannerism, and attitude can be annoying. Whilst the villains have a very perplex attitude and have actual, worthwhile desires: vengeance, immortality, devastation, control, power, etc. The heroes play no purpose in their attitude but to go against these very true mental psychologies.
  3. They never die and stay dead; I only like characters who get killed and stay dead. It's this victim complexity I have, where I only like those who get killed and dislike those who live. Villains fit this category well. And the heroes who do die, keep returning, which adds to my hate.
  4. There's also the fact that they always win. Within my love for victims and villains in general, I don't like people who constantly win. They don't have enough depth as characters to speak of loss. Their intentions are very much the same. They are bland to an extent that they comprehend only to stop the "villain" and because they wouldn't exist if it were not for the antagonists doing what they do. It's the villains that even give them a purpose.

I have other reasons but this should be enough. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 22:02, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Ah ok then. Well which Hero do you like most/Hate least?

In specific order, these would be my top picks for heroes in terms of designs (although I don't like any, I'd choose these over the rest):
  1. Piccolo
  2. Nail
  3. Mister Popo
  4. Supreme Kai
  5. King Kai
  6. Tien
  7. Chiaotzu
  8. Yamcha
  9. Krillin
  10. Dende
  11. Elder Kai, Bardock, Tora, Shugesh, Borgos, Master Roshi, Kami, Moori, Nam, Bora, etc.

Hey mate, the reason why a perm block may be necessary is because some members keep adding links to other wikis, which likely aren't working or are broken redirects in and of themselves. In order to avoid altering, it may be better to keep it locked. But if a desire to edit the main page arises, and is that overwhelming, then maybe we can bring it back down to members only, because most of the vandalism itself is done by random ip's anyways. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 22:42, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

My plan is to use what you just saw to create so called "sub sections", listing wars that involved specific races etc. (ex. Saiyans, Humans, WTO). Yeah, I feel it would be best to keep all of the wars, etc. on one template rather than having it limited to Saiyans or Humans. Manga Articles

I like the idea of each chapter getting its own article instead because the episodes have there own articles. I have made articles a while ago for the first two chapters (Bloomers and the Monkey King and No Balls!) they are incomplete but I even made infoboxes for them already. Things do happen a little differently in the manga and I don't see what is wrong with having seperate articles for each chapter because all of the other wiki's for animes do it also. - Slayer25769

Hi. I am new here and a huge fan of Dragonball.

I can help you guys by providing you with screenshots for all articles on the Dragonball wikia. You would only need to tell what scene and which episode/movie from either Dragonball/Dragonball Z/Dragonball GT to take them from.

I am also setting up a youtube page with many scenes from Dragonball which could be linked from Dragonball wikia articles. For eg: Goku's SSJ3 Transformation.

I have a suggestion too. Can you make the homepage a bit more neat an tidy. It's not very easy to find all the information you need.

Short Dragon Ball Evolution opinion

I'm hoping they don't decide to destroy any of the anime/manga. I personally love a few others (One Piece, Shaman King, Cowboy Bebop, etc.) and I'd prefer they didn't shame them. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 00:23, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

I enjoy Cowboy Bebop, and hope for that as well. Good lord....think of the terrible possibilites. Shaman King is one manga that I have yet to read, and though I don't exactly have anything against One Piece, I do not like it. I'm wondering what would happen if they created an American Death Note film. Since it is not an extremely complicated story, and likely would only require some computer animation for Ryuk and other Shinigami, perhaps it would at least be decent.--BrolyTheGod 00:37, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

I don't hate any manga/anime except for Naruto. I really hate Naruto. So I don't care if they decide to destroy it. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 00:38, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

lol So your one of the diehard DBZ fans who hates Naruto huh? Well, no complaints here. I don't hate it but I do dislike it. By the way, questions have arose in my mind that have to do with DBZ. I know you may not know the answers to them, but I think I might as well ask:

Would Broly have been defeated in the first movie if he had not been stabbed in the chest as an infant, which is likely close to, if not the exact some spot which Goku punched him? Do you think he would have been?

I have read that the only Saiyans that you like are Raditz and Nappa. I can see Nappa as likeable for his short temper and ruthless fighting style. I especially liked to watch his reactions to Vegeta speaking to him, showing that even though Vegeta appears smaller and weaker, he is the superior to Nappa. And Raditz, because not only does he have an unloving personality to even his younger brother, cruel attitude and jokes towards his opponents (His comment to Piccolo after removing his arm), but he is also the first Saiyan that Goku and Piccolo ever face, and is mockingly a more skilled warrior to them during there encounter. My question about this is: Which Saiyan do you think would have had a larger potential as a character? Meaning which one do you think would have been more entertaing, likeable, etc. if they had a longer part in the story, since Raditz IS Goku's older brother, and Nappa is what I see as a clear definition of a Saiyan warrior? Between the two, do you think one of them should have had a bigger or longer part?

Since I have read that you basically like henchman/small part villains more than the main ones: Why do you think you like those characters more than main villains like Frieza or Majin Buu?--BrolyTheGod 01:07, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

Here's the ideological fundamental I follow: I like villains who get killed brutally and ruthlessly. I don't like characters who linger on and on in the series. I like characters who are limited to a certain saga for a few reasons, one being that they are designed much better (I hate most humanoids as they are all regular looking people; skin color, attitude, etc. There's nothing special in their construct and design). If you would understand the victim complexity I follow, then you'd like villains I like because they are truly sadistic and brutal but end up getting killed themselves and that's why I love them. About Nappa and Raditz, I wouldn't have liked them if they lived longer. I don't like characters who live long throughout entire series. I like characters who get killed and therefore, it's a core reason why I actually love Nappa. Out of the Saiyans, Nappa is ultimately my most favorite, followed by Raditz due to his demise, and Paragus, due to his role and demise. I loved how he manipulated Broly for all those years before being a victim of patricide in the web he had sewn, it was ironic and powerful and emotionally challenging. Nappa too was emotionally powerful because he was betrayed by Vegeta after all his loyalty and struggles. In the long run, I like villains who are ultimately true villains and start out villains and die as villains. I hate people like Vegeta who switch sides and become heroes and are traitors. People like that: Vegeta, Android 17, Majin Buu, Nuova Shenron, etc. are the ones I hate the most for the character and role they display, I have strong hatred for the aforementioned for being traitors. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 03:36, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
I wonder if you and Kreia/Darth Traya would get along, seeing how you guys seem to have a similar viewpoint (Sorry, Star Wars reference). So anyways, I was wondering. Seeing how you seem to view characters who were initially bad turn good as "traitors" and have a strong hate for them, I'm wondering if you share the same opinion/viewpoint in regards to a similar but opposite scenario (like someone initially good turning bad)?

To who ever typed that question, it would be a good idea to put your signature, so that its easier to tell who is saying what, and so that people can go to your talk page, etc. for any reason. Thanks for the answers PrinceZarbon. I can understand why you like the villains so much more than the heroes, and thats why I think Frieza is truly the best villain. Even when being offered a chance at living when Goku "quit" during the battle on Namek, he had an endless desire to be the victor of the battle and would not allow himself to be defeated by a Saiyan, and because of this, he still attempted to attack Goku while he had his back turned. As far as I can see, if your offered a chance to live from your opponent, and you still attack your opponent(especially when there back is turned), that is pure undying evil. Even though Frieza is the best villain in my opinion, my favorite remains as Broly for his insane love of destruction, and the emotional trauma caused by events that were not of his own accord, which caused a good amount of his furious insanity and of course his relentless hate towards Goku. Also, I believe Paragus's death could not have fit better. It is the perfect punishment for controlling his son for so many years and an ironic one. And though it is a small factor, I think the fact that he was thrown into Comet Kumori which was headed towards "New Vegeta" was also ironic, since he was planning to use the comet to get revenge against Vegeta's father by killing his son Vegeta. I would dislike Broly for the two unneeded and error filled sequals to the original movie, but I do not think of Broly from those two movies when I think of the actual character. If any other questions pop into my head or there is some other thing to discuss for whatever reason, I'll come to you.--BrolyTheGod 18:10, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Raging Blast characters

OK we all know they had some characters left.

What happens to all movie characters besides Broly and Hirudegarn (since he's giant)?

And What happens to all Dragonball GT characters such as SSJ4 Gogeta and Omega Shenron.

We all know about there has been no news of any exclusively Dragon Ball or Dragon Ball GT characters. and This is the only Tenkaichi game that has no giant characters confirmed thus far?But what happen to them.[[[James-50]]] 12:23, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

These are very random questions and you ask them as if I designed the game myself. I cannot answer as to why the developers decided not to include giant characters. well I wouldn't mind about giant characters, that goodbye for Golden ape Baby and other saiyn apes. we just make sure if there was news in Raging blast from either SSJGOKU93 and Wolfclawstudios in youtube.

I don't mind either way, in the case of giant characters or GT people. I'm just happy enough to see this game maintain my two favorite characters, that keeps me satisfied. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 14:10, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

Let's don't other fan and other members in youtube thinks vegeta in his SS3 will be in Raging blast. I don't believe that, I don't care what other thinls about vegeta. But this Raging blast had too much alot of saiyans already, they could at least have a additional stronger tranformations for nor Cell or buu (wouldn't about frieza.

also I think should give another fusion character for evil people like Super 17. What If happens if Super Perfect Cell absorbs Super Android 17 and Super Android 13.( which a good question.

I'm personally not interested in what if scenarios for any characters, I'd much rather they just kept the story intact and added all the characters from the previous games without adding any fake characters. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 16:36, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

I see , I know now he was vandalizing the character roaster about SSJ3 Majin Vegata and You, SSJGoku93 and Saimaroimaru tryed to stop him from editing false material inserting false information onto the Dragon Ball: Raging Blast page.

The reason why I don't like fan-made characters is that it's Going to make other people angrier and Jealous about who stronger than who (example SS5 Goku is arguably stronger than SS4 Gogeta).

Another admin

How's it going Zarbon. I recently in just the past few days was pondering if we could possibly use another administrator around here. I'll of course have to talk to Nonoitall as he is the Bureaucrat, but some more help wouldn't hurt. What do you think of this? Of course a very reputable, honest, fair and informational user must be chosen, one who has good editing skills and other knowledge's that are required obviously. The first two that come to mind are either 10XKamehameha or SSJ2AJB. 10XKamehameha is rather new to the site it seems, but thus far he has been doing an excellent job and does already seem to check many of the edits made. SSJ2AJB is a veteran and definitely knows what he is doing, however he may not be up for it, as when I had a conversation with him awhile back, he didn't even want the responsibility of choosing an "Image of the day" (anther of my crazy ideas XD). So, what do you think about possibly adding another admin, as the site continues to grow and grow just 3 active admins may not be enough. Any others users you'd think could be good candidates? Talk to you soon bro.

Honestly, I don't think we need another admin as I don't think we need it yet. If the need truly arises, I would recommend the likes of Doc Lithius before anyone. However, personally I think we are handling the situation well. 10xkamehameha and ssj2ajb are actually constructive and well-formulated, but even they don't know some of the proper events (i've explained to them in the past a certain inaccuracies in the dubbing, etc.) But they are levels better than most other contributors in terms of knowledge. I also recognized how very inexperienced users have been asking for admin positions, I'd ignore these requests as I've found them adding to the problem rather than helping solve it, whether it be vandalism, inaccurate information, or just completely invalid formatting. On another note, I'm not fond of the idea of having an image of the day... it serves little purpose. Notify me if you have any other ideas though, as I may find them great, as most of them really are. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 02:06, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
I understand completely where your coming from. I suppose we are doing just fine at the moment, but like you said, if the need for another does rise, those three (including Doc Lithius) would make excellent candidates (however I recently talked to Lithius on YouTube, asking him where he'd been in the past month or so, and he told me he loses interest in things and sort of moves away from them for awhile, which is why he hasn't been on the Wiki in awhile, so evidently he may not be the best of choices). Nevertheless, I suppose only the future will tell. As for the inexperienced users asking, all I simply do is re-direct them to the Administrators page so that they can read about it etc. (possibly give them something to shoot for eh?). Lastly, that is exactly why I dropped the "Image of the "Day" thing haha.

Out of the aforementioned, in the case that we can't recruit comrade Lithius, then SSJ2AJB seems to follow the anime as well as manga well enough and is primarily educated on both ends as I've had him help me revert numerous saga articles to proper formatting in the past. He'd be a good candidate, not only due to his history on the wiki itself, but also due to his knowledge and experience in dealing with less experienced users. But, this is again an evasive measure if we really need it. At the time though, I feel it's still unnecessary. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 02:26, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi guys. Not that its any of my concern, but instead of getting another admin, why not get a couple of Moderators instead? - Lloydssj4 05:31, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

I've proposed that in the past, but it's of the same caliber in terms of duties. We'll see how things go, and if the need arises, either one of those positions may become needed. It's still unnecessary at the time from what I can tell. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 05:54, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Hey Zarbon. Look do you think SSJ4 Goku is stronger than SSJ4 Vegeta? I mean, Goku's power level was severely diminished against fighting Omega Shenron, and Vegeta had become a fresh SSJ4 without fighting him. Later, they do the Fusion dance, which requires the SAME power level. So do you think Exhausted SSJ4 Goku's power level = Fresh SSJ4 Vegeta's power level? If so, I think we need to make an edit to the trivia in the Vegeta article --SaiyanZ 02:03, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

I'm not interested in which is stronger. Also, trivia is not power speculation. Speculation is systematically removed from the articles as it isn't proper material for a factual encyclopedic article. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 02:21, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Then what is your opinion on who is stronger? In trivia, there is a certain piece of trivia that says Vegeta becomes as strong as Goku in GT. The reason I'm asking you is whether we should remove that certain piece of trivia or not. --SaiyanZ 03:52, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Alert me to the exact statement and which article it's in. It's likely that neither of the articles should have anything like that, but if any do, I'd be glad to remove it. I normally check up on the villain articles as I keep track of them, but I'd be glad to remove false information from any article. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 03:59, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

"Vegeta and Goku are equally matched at the end of Dragon Ball GT, since they are both able to reach Super Saiyan 4 and perform the fusion dance (meaning that they have exactly the same power level). ". This is in the Vegeta article. --SaiyanZ 04:10, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

"The Fusion Dance is a short series of poses that are performed by two characters of equal power levels, roughly equal size and same race" (from Fusion Dance). Doesn't this verify that piece of trivia? -- 04:45, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I read that part too. But remember how Goku was asking Kid Trunks to lower his power level so that he could be the same as Goten, when training in them in the Fusion Dance? I think the same applies here in this situation too. But on the other hand, it could be just another one of GT's plot holes, completely disregarding info said in past episodes. What do you think we should do with the piece of trivia? --SaiyanZ 05:42, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Vegeta was not exactly as powerful as Goku. And that's not trivia either, even if he was. The article is about Vegeta, not his comparison to Goku's power. I've had to remove many pieces of useless lesser-than-trivia from all the articles prior. It appears much of it has been added again, of which needs to be removed. Two types of comparisons we are trying to avoid are power level comparisons (as they are always unconfirmed) and/or power equality comparisons, where people keep saying this was a point when one character surpassed another. This isn't trivia. This is uselessness. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 14:58, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

LSSJTrunks keeps trying to change it back for some reason, i guess he doesn't agree. I thought Buyon was the first enemy Goku killed because i don't remember early DB well, and that misleading statement is what led to me putting that in the trivia part. SuperTron500 09:58, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
Funny thing is I was Watching Dragonball today and Im almost Certain he was the First. I've seen the First 120 episodes or so and I am Sure Buyon was the First to be killed by Goku User:LSSJTrunks
I can't figure out why you claim Buyon isn't the first, PrinceZarbon. If he is like LSSJTrunks claims. SuperTron500 10:09, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
If its his decision then so be it but when did he Say he wasen't the First, did he just delete the Part? User:LSSJTrunks
Buyon is not the first person killed off by Goku. He killed lots, and I mean, lots of Red Ribbon army soldiers prior. Including the ones at Suno's house, the ones outside of Muscle Tower. And the ones guarding the Tower first floor (and there was a lot of them.) He also killed others, like animals, etc. We can't add that for Buyon as it doesn't serve as trivia, first because the article is about Buyon, not Goku. I've been trying to remove all useless information from the trivia sections, such as that. If I find any other useless tie-ins to Goku and Vegeta's own ratios, then I will remove them as the articles themselves aren't about them, they're about the character in the title. In either case, that is not trivia. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 14:14, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

No they aren't okay. I brought Cui as an example. The same goes for all the characters. Kill ratios and numerical killings don't add for information nor anything integral as all that is systematically ever-changing and only belongs on one article already tallied for that reason. We need to avoid all such inclusions from all articles, whether it be Cui or the Arlians alike. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 19:46, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

Episode Infobox

Hi there: I noticed you were adding infoboxes to the DBZ episodes. In order to avoid copying the same formatting lines in every episode, I created an infobox template that has the exact same format as the one you're using, but is simpler to put on the article. For example, for "The New Threat", which I just modified, you would only have to put: {{EpisodeInfobox|The New Threat|ep1titledbz.JPG|DBZ|1|Vegeta Saga|April 26, 1989|Unknown|None|Reunions}}. Of course, you can modify the Template if you feel something's missing. But in the long run, I think it'd be better to use the template instead of a lot of copy/paste.--Sega381 17:01, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

I feel the other one's easier to maneuver as I've already been using it for all the other episodes. For one, it actually states the section titles and makes it easier for one to allocate, instead of memorize the template and add according to it. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 19:08, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
I think templates can be made that allows you to put the name and the value, so you don't have to memorize the value order. We can modify the infobox template in order to achieve that. In any even, is highly wasteful to copy/paste all the format surrounding the infobox for each page. If you want to change just the background color later, you have to change it in each and every page. Believe me, that's what templates are for. I'll try to improve the template so that it allows you to put the info next to its name, but I insist it makes no sense to copy/paste all that format stuff.--Sega381 19:29, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
Do you want to go through the hassle of re-formatting the template in accordance to all that has already been done for the prior sagas and the Namek Saga? Take a look at some of the Namek episodes I've already completed. If you still feel the urge to cut down the template, then be forewarned that you will need to replace all the info on the corresponding articles with templates with your formatting. However, it is unacceptable at its current state, without any information to entail how the template titles such as "previous", "next", etc. Don't add a new template for one or two episodes without seeing how most of the other episodes have already been formatted, you'd have to fix those up as well. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 19:37, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
Ok, I've updated the infobox template in order to allow you to name each parameter. This way, the formatting is in the template, and the rest is clearer to use in the article. Is this better?--Sega381 19:42, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
As of now, no. You'll have to fixate some things such as the previous and next episode areas. We can't have broken links show up on the parameter itself as an automated function. We need to specify the linking ourselves so that some words such as "None" don't show up as broken links. Fix that function as well. That's why I wanted to avoid this. The Manga Counterpart section also needs skips in between in some instances, as there are some episodes that are equivalent to more than one manga chapter. Another problem is that you will have to go and fix all the other episodes into that template format so that they are all running in accordance to the same format. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 19:48, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
Come on, we're all just trying to help. As of now, yes, it is better. It is ready? No, there are things to fix, like the ones you mentioned. I'm working on them right now. Come on, all of those items are fixable, it's not that big of a deal. I insist this is a way to improve the infobox, not to annoy you. Of course all the other episodes will have to be updated, but as visually they look the same, there is no rush in that.Sega381 19:55, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
I appreciate it mate. I never enjoyed toying with templates myself, except for the character templates, so I'm actually glad you're helping out. Just notify me of any of the instances so I can check on the progress itself. Thanks in advance, comrade. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 19:59, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
Ok, I've 1) made the Previous and Next lines optional, so they will only appear if you specify them when calling the template, and 2) added a Manga2, Manga3 and Manga4 parameters, that are optional, in case there is more than 1 manga counterpart; they only show up if they are specified when calling the template. Yes, templates can be a little tiresome, specially for someone who doesn't have much experience with them, such as me... but I was finally able to fix the problems. I've tested the optional Previous in The New Threat, and the optional MangaN in The Hunted. Anything else missing? --Sega381 20:57, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
Koolness. Now all that remains is to reformat all the completed episodes with the same template. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 21:04, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
Glad you like it. I do have one doubt, though: even though most of the edited and original episodes have different names, some of them have the same names, and are in the same article. I think I should probably add a parameter to the template in order to state the edited number in those cases, but I'm not sure what's the best way to show that information. Any thoughts? --Sega381 21:36, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
I'd skip the edited eps altogether as I'm working on perfecting all the uncut ones. If the need arises for the edited versions to be maxed out, we can have an entirely separate template for those. - Zarbon by raykugen-d2ygchz PrinceZarbon talk contribZarbon ava3 21:41, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
