Okay, this is somewhat of a rant because DB was a big part of my childhood that introduced me to anime. Although unlike a vast majority of consumers I can't just accept all of this "God" stuff with open arms, I have principles.

Let's be honest, although the Buu saga is my fav. it was a stretch and Toriyama damn sure depicted that stretch. He gave us a mediocre ending that left people unsatisfied, which is why now (with the Buu saga being my favorite) I chose to stop at the Cell saga and move on to the next show. I say all of this to say, these new concepts of beings of destructions, God's and Frieza returning shows a lack of creativity.

Instead of answering questions, Akira's creating new timelines, ideas and power ups that don't do anything but give us more things to ponder and debate about. This doesn't mean that I won't watch or like certain things, like Vegeta supposedly getting his shine in the new movie is cool.

But, I strongly feel like instead of creating new things, why not answer some of the questions and think outside of the box? Why not have a whole hour and a half movie about the original SSJ? That way we can finally put that mystery to rest and we'll get to see more Saiyans, not to mention the origin of the Vegeta family. Then follow up with a movie about the Namekians and tell Gurus story or the Nameless Namek (which we all know was Piccolo and Kames original body) and tell his story. How Namek almost became extinct, the first set of dragon balls, etc.

All of that and then some would be wayyyy more exciting and informative to millions of DBZ heads like myself. But instead, we're subject to pudding eating cats and a homosexual is the toughest next to the cat. Not to mention, Pans born but apparently Vegetas daughter never existed. Smh, Akira just wants a check.
