In need of help on Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

On the offline battles wither its local or the other one. How do you change the time limit where you can fight longer? Its set on 3 mins and that is really not long enough. I feel rushed through the whole fight. Me and my friends have no time do anything. Side question. ( When do you get the GT characters? Cause ive already completed the main story.)
