So as we all know Garlic Jr is immortal and can't die no matter what (read more), so what happens if they have a new movie in which Garlic Jr escapes once more because plot, and then Mr. Buu helps by transforming him into candies and then eating him, what would happen?

Nope because Buu can choose whether he absorbs or not. when Super Buu ate everyone at Kami's Lookout they just died and no-one was absorbed. For the sake of debate, Mr. Buu doesn't absorb him in this case.
