Namaste, Dragon Ball Wikians! Another month, another Featured Wikian. Recenty, Ibbe Posey, our Featured Wikian for the month of August in the year of 2014, took time out of his busy (I don't know if he's actually busy; I'm just makin' him sound more interesting) schedule to sit down and have a chat with me. Here are the words we exchanged.
ME: Tell us a little bit about yourself.
- IBBE: I'm an eleventh grade student, who is almost seventeen years old. I live in Kulhudhuffushi, Maldives. I like watching movies, TV series/anime and listening to music. I also like to play football (soccer) and basketball.
ME: How did you discover Dragon Ball Wiki?
- IBBE: I loved Dragon Ball and never got to finish it. I was new to internet back then. I used to search up information about it on google, which led me to here.
ME: Although you're not much of an editor (you've uploaded quite the amount of pictures, though!), do you have any tips for making a positive contribution to the wiki?
- IBBE: Be sure to follow the Manual of Style, since it contains the proper way articles should be written. Also use the article talk pages to discuss if you have a problem about formatting or any other issue.
ME: It's going on three years since you first joined the wiki, so you must've seen quite a bit come and go here. What is the most memorable thing to happen during your stay?
- IBBE: The most memorable thing that happened was on 15 November, 2012, when I became a chat moderator. Though I have to thank my friends here for that; without them, I might not be where I am today.
ME: Kind of stole my next question's thunder, but that's okay! What has been your greatest achievement while on the wiki?
- IBBE: Hm, being acknowledged by a lot of users here, that makes me happy. Never thought it'd happen when I first joined. I've to say that's my greatest achievement.
ME: Last question. What would you like to see implemented on Dragon Ball Wiki that isn't already?
- IBBE: I'd say some kind of multi-image uploader, if it isn't already there. Could be real helpful when uploading tons of image files. EDIT: There is a multi-uploader, which you can find here.
