Hello, I was looking through blogs, and I saw this blog by this user, and I thought it would be fun to give it a go myself! This blog will be all my thoughts on where Dragon Ball was a little below average for me. Feel free to comment your thoughts below! ;D (NOTE: These are just my thoughts, no need to be upset/annoyed by them. n_n)

"The Mightiest Form in the Universe"? The Super Saiyans~[]

I believe the Super Saiyan transformation lost its magic after a while, or at least became much less cool with time. One thing that severely annoyed me was how easily some Saiyans had achieved this miraculous form. I did love Super Saiyan when Goku had achieved it in the Frieza Saga, it was understandable. He was different, he had a pure heart, he was incredibly strong, and Frieza topped it off by killing his best friend, now that was all great! Some other characters I give credit to for achieving Super Saiyan would be Vegeta & Broly. Vegeta for his sheer determination, and training nearly his whole life for the form, and Broly because.....well, that was his thing. He was the Legendary Super Saiyan, and he did a fine job (In his first movie....and a little in the second) Though, I do despise Broly and his fan base, I didn't mind him achieving these forms. Another character that may have "earned the right" to become Super Saiyan is Future Gohan, though we can't say for sure, because it isn't exactly know how and when this happened. (Dragon Ball Z:History of Gohan, please? :3) ....Then there are characters who just totally do not deserve the title of Super Saiyan. The main offenders being Goten and Trunks. I hated that they achieved this for so easily at such a young age (Then completely stopped training and ruined their mind-blowing potential -.-'). I believe Goku told Gohan sometime in the Imperfect Cell Saga that becoming a Super Saiyan comes from a need, not a want. This was just completely contradictory to that, and another thing is, there was no need for either of them to become Super Saiyans, they did little to nothing to help out the Z Fighters. Well, they did have Gotenks, but he was one obnoxious little bugger. Also, I felt Future Trunks had achieved this form way too fast for my taste, but that just might be me. My final problem with the Super Saiyan form is its transformations. Well, not the transformations themselves, but how they're achieved. It kind of gave a whole "If a stronger guy comes, I'll just unlock a new Super Saiyan form!" feel to it, which was bothersome to me (Though, to Toriyama's credit, he did originally plan on ending thins in the Frieza Saga.

Human's Respect Gone in DBZ & DBGT[]

(NOTE: I can already here you power hungry fanboys shouting at your computer about how much Krillin & Yamcha suck, but please don't comment to this issue, if you haven't seen the original Dragon Ball (anime) or manga.)

This is an issue I feel I'm definitely not alone in. To those who thought

Dragon Ball

was the best series, or just highly enjoyed the human characters there, this was just aggravating. It seems since the very beginning of Dragon Ball Z, humans have just been shoved aside by all these new alien characters. The Daiyans became so much stronger, the wonderful human characters almost seemed to be insignificant bothers that showed up to attempt to help every once in a while.

I hate how often these characters are overlooked, they had awesome techniques, awesome fights, awesome rivalries, and their characters were just awesome. I just hate how fast their ability to keep up with the group dropped, it was almost sad. :/ I will admit, every once in a while, Tien Shinhan would pull off an amazing feat, but it still was never enough, he just stalled in the coolest ways possible. Surprisingly, this problem manages to get even worst in GT, to the point where even characters as amazing as Piccolo are almost starting to become insignificant compared to these damn Saiyans.

Well, these are just the first couple problems I could list off the top off my head, I'll be adding more a bit later. :)

Side Note: Who do you think would be a fun character to base my first custom signature on?
