SSJ4 is not a super saiyan stage!

I read the article about the ssj4,and i saw that a ssj4 isn't a super saiyan stage.When the saiyan wants to go like let's say ssj2 he must surpass a normal ssj,but when the saiyans want to turn ssj4 they are not turning to ssj3...therefore a ssj4 is only a controlled golden great ape form.SSJ4 SUCKS!!!If i am wrong then correct by commenting.These states sucks.
