Hello guys, it's Epratt today with another Dragon Ball Z theory segment. Today, we will be talking about: What would happen if Piccolo hadn't of saved Gohan in the Saiyan Saga? Let's begin...
Nappa would have fired the Impact Bomb, and maybe Piccolo didn't have enough time to react, or maybe he'd be thinking about a better future for the Earth, since if he were to die, the Dragon Balls would die with him. Piccolo would not save Gohan, but only with the thought of being able to revive him later. So, Gohan would be tragically killed by Nappa, and Piccolo might get angry, and release a furious attack on Nappa, whether it be a melee attack, or a Special Beam Cannon, Nappa would probably tank it either way. For the remainder of the time, Krillin and Piccolo would get beaten up by Nappa, until Goku arrived. Goku would give Piccolo and Krillin half a Senzu Bean each, and tell them to leave, which they most likely would.
Goku would be enraged, run on an immense anger, due to Gohan's death by Nappa's hands. I think Goku would transform into a Giji Super Saiyan (False Super Saiyan; What he transformed into against Lord Slug in the Lord Slug movie), and he'd begin mercilessly beating on Nappa and Vegeta. Goku would most likely paralyze Nappa as he had done in the original timeline, and he would probably beat Vegeta to the point of making him need to transform into an Oozaru. Goku would be shocked at the Oozaru transformation, and this would snap him out of Giji Super Saiyan. Nappa, who is now mostly paralyzed, would probably be scared that even Vegeta was being beaten, and he would probably leave the planet due to his inability to continue the battle.
Vegeta would begin to beat Goku around. Goku would use the Solar Flare, and attempt to use a Spirit Bomb, which would fail when Vegeta regained his sight, and Goku would be knocked into his unconscious state. Krillin and Piccolo would arrive, and like in the original timeline, Krillin would try to cut off Vegeta's tail from behind with a Kienzan as Piccolo distracted him (in the original timeline, it was Gohan), and they would fail. Yadjirobe would then proceed to cut off Vegeta's tail, making him revert. Vegeta would be immensely weakened from being kicked around by a Giji Super Saiyan, and most of Goku's bones would be broken. Goku would tell Krillin to try and distract Vegeta, and Krillin would, as Goku would give Piccolo the Spirit Bomb. Piccolo would have difficulty controlling it, but because of his high ki usage, he would be the best choice out of the two, and the Spirit Bomb would be thrown. Vegeta would dodge, and Krillin would deflect it, and it would hit Vegeta. Vegeta would be downed, but he wouldn't be out for the count.
Piccolo, tired with Vegeta's games, and angry at everybody he had killed, would transform into the Giant Namek as he did in Dragon Ball, and he would begin to beat Vegeta to a pulp, until he'd be cut in half by a Kienzan. Piccolo's two halves would fall, and the lower half would crush Vegeta. Piccolo's upper half would shrink down, and he would regenerate his body. Vegeta would crawl out from under the lower half, and call his Space Pod. Piccolo would take Yadjirobe's sword, and go to Vegeta.
(Goku (Telepathically): Piccolo wait!
Piccolo: Goku? What do you want? I'm about to end it.
Goku (Telepathically): Piccolo... Please, spare Vegeta... I want to be able to fight him again someday... To prove that I alone can beat him...
Piccolo: Goku, you're a fool if you think I'm going to let him go after this.)
Goku would plead to Piccolo to spare Vegeta, but Piccolo would not listen, and he would stab the sword through Vegeta's throat, killing him. Bulma, Master Roshi, and Chi-Chi would arrive, and bring Goku, Piccolo, and Krillin to the Earth hospital. They would request that Kami and Mr. Popo revive all that had been killed by the Saiyans, and they would. Gohan, Yamcha, and Tien would be revived, and they, along with Krillin, Piccolo, and Goku, would plot about how to revive Chiaotzu. They learned about Planet Namek, and in several days, with Bulma's help, they would begin towards Namek.
Nappa would arrive on Planet Frieza, and he would be rejuvinated back to perfect health, with a Zenkai boost as well. He would hear from everybody that Vegeta had not returned, and that Frieza went to Namek to gather the Dragon Balls. Afraid of Frieza attempting immortality, Nappa went to Planet Namek in search of the Dragon Balls, as well. He would arrive shortly after Krillin, Gohan, Yamcha, Tien, and Piccolo. The Z Fighters would go off in search of the Dragon Balls. Nappa would threaten a Namekian Village, and he would steal their Dragon Ball without killing them. He would hide the Dragon Ball in the ocean, and go look for more of them.
The Z Fighters would see Frieza and his men attacking Namekians, and Gohan would attack Dodoria, and save Dende. All of them would split up, and go in seperate directions. Gohan, Krillin, and Piccolo would all go in the same direction. Just when Dodoria was about to blow up the area they were in, Nappa would come, and challenge him to a fight. Dodoria would try and take Nappa's Scouter, but Nappa would destroy it, and he would fight Dodoria, eventually beating him. Nappa would later encounter Zarbon, and lose to his Monster Form, then being brought to the rejuvination tank in Frieza's Ship.
The Z Fighters would all stay in a group, as to be able to team-attack any enemies that came. They would escort Dende to Grand Elder Guru, and Guru would use his powers to unlock everybody's power. Guru would struggle to unlock Piccolo's power, but he would do it, since Frieza had wiped out most of the Namekians. Guru would give the 1-star Dragon Ball to the Z Fighters, and they would stash it in a cave Bulma was staying in. Nappa would break out of the rejuvination tank, and use a Guerilla Warfar tactic. He'd do what Vegeta did, and throw the Dragon Balls into the distance for himself. He'd then fly away. Frieza would angrily send Zarbon after him. Gohan and Piccolo would go out towards the Dragon Ball Nappa had hidden.
Nappa would go towards the Z Fighters, and Zarbon would follow him, and they would fight, Nappa eventually killing him. Nappa would take the Dragon Ball from Yamcha, Krillin, and Tien, and fly off. He'd meet Piccolo and Gohan along the way, but keep going. Frieza, annoyed, would call the Ginyu Force to round up the Dragon Balls. Gohan and Piccolo would return with the Dragon Ball, and they would go get the other 5 that Nappa threw. Nappa would shortly go to them as soon as he sensed the Ginyu Force arriving, and even though they now had all 7 Dragon Balls, Nappa would be afraid of the Ginyu Force...
The Ginyu Force would arrive, and quickly scope out the Z Fighter's location. The Z Fighters would all challenge Guldo first, and they would quickly kill him. Ginyu would secure the Dragon Balls, and bring them to Frieza. Frieza would go out to Guru's to find the password. Then, the Z Fighters and Nappa would challenge Recoome, and, even though they'd be a difficult challenge for him, they'd lose, and Goku would arrive, giving everybody Senzu Beans. Goku would then take care of Burter and Recoome, and Nappa would most likely wipe out Jeice when he had the chance. Everybody would charge towards Ginyu, and they would all fight him. With Goku's help, they would defeat him, and either Nappa or Piccolo would kill him. Dende would help them summon Porunga. Tien would ask Dende to tell Porunga to revive Chiaotzu.
Then, Dende would revive his Namekian brother, and at this point, Frieza would be rushing back to get his wish for immortality. Nappa would then try to force Dende to make him immortal, but just as Dende was about to say the wish, Frieza intervenes, and accidently shoots, and kills Porunga. The Dragon Balls would turn to stone, and Frieza would be enraged. Nappa would begin his fight with Frieza, and they both would power up, being equal to each other. Dende would reunite with his brother, and the two would serve as healers. Frieza would eventually be fed up with the fight with Nappa, and he would transform into his second form, and he would easily be knocked down. Goku would ask Dende to heal him. Nappa would be healed, and Goku would now try to fight Frieza. He would be able to stand somewhat of a chance with his Kaioken x10, they would be on par, but Goku would eventually have to revert, and Frieza would knock him down.
Tien, Yamcha, Krillin, Gohan, and Piccolo would all try charge Frieza, but Frieza would knock them all down, as well. Nail would arrive, and try to fight Frieza, which Frieza responds to mercilessly beat him. Everybody would be healed as Nail is getting kicked around, and Nappa would then challenge Frieza again. They would be close in power, and Frieza would transform again. Nail would be healed, and he ask Piccolo if he could fuse into him to try and beat Frieza. Piccolo would agree, and they would fuse. The now fused Piccolo would challenge third form Frieza, and get dominated. Frieza would then show off his final form. Goku and Nappa would charge Frieza, but both lose. Frieza would try and knock down Goku quickly, and then he'd toy with Nappa as fast as possible. Goku would be healed once more, then both Namekians would be killed by Frieza. The Z Fighters would all rush Frieza, and Frieza would defeat all of them. Nappa would be close to death...
Frieza would finish Nappa off, and Goku would try fighting him... The fight would go much like it did in the original timeline. Frieza would kick Goku around to the point of him needing to use the Spirit Bomb. Since there were more Z Fighters, Goku would be able to charge the Spirit Bomb a bit longer. Gohan and Krillin would give their energies to Piccolo, who would try and rush Frieza, and stall him. Then, Yamcha and Krillin would give their energies to Tien, would join Piccolo, and try to stall Frieza. Goku would yell at everybody to get down, and he would throw the Spirit Bomb. Frieza would go to try and use a Death Ball, and then he'd see the Spirit Bomb coming down on him. He would try to deflect it, but would fail, and he would be killed by it.
Goku, Piccolo, Tien, Krillin, Gohan, and Yamcha would return home, and use their Dragon Balls to wish everybody who was killed by Frieza and his men back to life. Nappa would take his Spacepod back to Earth, and he would join the Z Fighters, and try to fight alongside them...
Eventually, in three years, Androids 17 and 18 would be released, and they would kill everybody. Sadly, without Super Saiyan or Super Namekian, nobody would stand a chance, and nobody would be able to return from the future, because nobody would be strong enough to survive that long... And thus, the Z Fighters would be brought to an end.
