Goku and Freeza by shadsonic2

Hiya! n_n I thought I'd try making one of these blogs explaining why my favorite villain is the best! Feel free to leave lots of comments! Alright here it goes, the case for Freeza being the greatest villain in the the Dragon Ball series!

To Begin[]

Shouldn't this be enough to show you he's the best? ;P

Attitude[]

"Now learn, learn what happens when you mess with the most powerful being in the universe!"
Freeza

Freeza had one of the perfect villain attitudes. He is a creepily polite gentleman when the odds are in his favor, but as he begins to loose fights, he also begins to loose his sanity (even if he knows he can transform another time). Frieza was always most fun for me to watch in his first form. Politely offering his enemies to take their turns to fight, then mercilessly demolishing them. Always injuring the opponent just so he can get back up so Freeza can bash him again (Example). Freeza also wasted any and every soldier who delivered bad news or failed to complete a task in the most perfect manner. He was just so delightfully scary, which was something I think we all enjoyed. But first form is not the only form with an extremely evil attitude, it's just the most unique, in my opinion. As Frieza transforms, he becomes quite angered at the opponent for making him transform, dropping his confidence just a tad. And when he reaches his Final Form, you know you're screwed. It becomes a no holding back, all out massacre, and nobody is safe. Final Form Frieza probably had my favorite fighting style (50% power, that is). He was incredibly brutal, and some of his new techniques were just plain awesome. Plus, without Freeza's intense brutality, we may not have ever seen the amazing form today known as Super Saiyan. So all in all, I love Frieza's personality, one of my all time favorites ( but some are just a little bit better. ;D).

Power[]

I think we all know, Freeza has some incredible power. Besides Goku, nobody in the universe even stood a chance against Freeza in his time. He ran an organization filed with warriors who could easily demolish entire planets, and they all cowered in fear at the sight of Freeza. He could blow up mountains with a scary stare, and even demolish all of the strongest Z-Fighters at the time. With just this, and everything he demonstrated in his saga, it's easy to see he is not one to underestimate. One blast, charged on your finger enough to dissolve Bardock's ultimate blast and destroy Planet Vegeta? Yeah, I'd say that's pretty powerful.

Design[]

A design for a villain should be something pretty evil, yeah? How about a combination of all your worst fears? Evil enough? I always loved that, the fact Akira designed him straight off of a mixture of all of his worst fears combined. Even if you don't find Freeza scary, I'm sure you could at least admit his design is unique, cool, or interesting (Even though some of us grew up thinking he was a woman...). To begin, he's some very bright/girly colors for such and evil male villain, but it leaves you to underestimate him.....which leads to your painful death.

FIRST FORM:

Probably not my favorite design, but it was incredibly cool. I guess good things do come in small packages (or evil overlords...). Yeah, but this form is interesting, I love the way he looks, but some of the other forms definitely look much cooler to me.

SECOND FORM:

An interesting look, probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite form. I love the size increase. The form is pretty much first form, just things are a tad larger now. I do think it's cool how his body grows to look like his armor, however, I always liked the way it seems his body becomes armor. Another thing to like is the voice change, finally assuring the unsure watchers, that he is, indeed, a male.

THIRD FORM:

<insert Ridley Scott joke here> This is form is crazy, if nothing else. I liked the fact that such a big form as this is when he was fast. But besides alien, I've never seen a monster close to this. Once again, I like the body armor. The only huge problem I had with this form was that Freeza looks....well, incredibly stupid. It's that face, man.

FINAL FORM / FULL POWER FORM

I thought I'd just put these in the same category, I mean, the only difference is muscle. Not sure why Freeza dropped his body armor, or perhaps his entire body is covered in the armor like substance? Any who, this design is probably my favorite. It's so plain, yet so amazing. I like the way he looks more towards the skinny / 50% power side, I just think he looks better that way....no real reason. ^.^'

Techniques[]

This villain easily surpasses all others when it comes to techniques lists, in my opinion. Absolutely no contest here. To begin, Nearly all of his techniques are original, and he's not just an annoying copy cat. , though there was some slight copying....but I believe he learned his lesson for it. Frieza had so many legendary techniques, I don't even know where to begin, I'll just start with a couple of my favorites. Crazy Finger Beam being one of the favorites, just outright blasting an opponent at point blank range at incredible speed. Simply evil. Another one that amazed me was probably the Imprisonment Ball. Though this technique wasn't as special in the manga, the anime really made it something awesome. Trapping the opponent in pretty much a Ki bomb, then kicking them around, finishing it off by kicking them to the ground causing a huge explosion. You just can't hate it. The final technique I'll mention will be HAIL Frieza. Hooooooly crud, was this awesome. This technique is much cooler in video games, but it's also pretty dayum cool in the anime. Stabbing an opponent with your horn, then shaking your head on the impaled opponent, amazing <3. Finally (In the video games) we toss the trash aside and Punish Blast the fool away. Not only is the technique amazing, but the name "HAIL Frieza" is really great also. Like I said, There are many more awesome Freeza techniques.

Conclusion[]

Well, if you read that entire thing, many brownie points for you! I appreciate it! n_n So, to conclude....Frieza is a ruthless, evil, destructive villain, with many unique and incredible techniques. Freeza will always be my favorite villain. That's all, thanks for reading. :)
