This blog is for unpopular opinions pertaining to the Dragon Ball franchise. I saw this idea on a forum for another series, and thought it would be a good idea to make a blog for it on this wiki. When I ask for unpopular opinions, I want YOUR unpopular opinions. It can relate to anything in the franchise, something you liked or disliked, a character you liked or dislike that other people may not necessarily agree with which is why it would be an unpopular opinion because even though you hated/loved it, most people may not agree.
I'll go first.
1. Despite not liking Dragon Ball GT, I somewhat enjoyed Baby as a villain. But he is the only villain I liked from GT. Most people find his raspy voice and/or childish personality annoying, but I thought he had a great design and his abilities were original. Think about it, imagine if Baby took control of Goku instead of Vegeta. The Earth and the Z-Fighters would be doomed. Baby's ability to take control of everyone on Earth and bring out their latent potential and then highten it by a high amount as well as forcing Goku to fight his family and friends made for a somewhat compelling storyline in my opinion.
2. Super Saiyan God is better then Super Saiyan 4. I know this will get a lot of people going. And no, I am not taking about multipliers or which is stronger, I just like the design better. It fit the trend for Super Saiyan transformations being simple and standard. Yes, Super Saiyan 4 was cool looking, but it didn't make sense how Goku turned into an Oozaru hybrid Super Saiyan form when all the previous ones consisted of golden hair and teal eyes. When you start a certain trend, it's better to stick with it then to completely throw it out the window. Plus the flaming aura for Super Saiyan God was awesome.
3. I wouldn't mind if Raditz had stuck around instead of Vegeta. Don't get me wrong, Vegeta is and always will be one of my favourite characters, however you'd think that someone who's introduced as Goku's brother would have a bigger impact on the story. I'd be willing to trade Vegeta for Raditz just to see what it's like for Goku to deal with having a brother around and maybe learn about Bardock and Gine and the Saiyan race since Vegeta doesn't seem to like talking about them much.
