The Universe Creation Saga ( 宇宙創成編 Uchū Sōsei Hen, lit. "Creation of the Universe Arc") is the sixth original saga in Dragon Ball Heroes.
It continues on from where the Universal Conflict Saga of Super Dragon Ball Heroes left off.
Plot
God of Destruction Invasion
At the Time Nest, Chronoa tells Xeno Trunks and Xeno Pan that Tokitoki has gone missing. Thinking that something could have happened, Xeno Trunks and Xeno Pan head off to search for him. Chronoa wonders if the disappearance is tied to Dogidogi being released.
Goku and co wonder what the mysterious bird is
In another era, at Capsule Corporation, Goku examines, nearby Gohan and Piccolo as well as Krillin and Android 17 spar with each other. They join Goku's side as they wonder where the bird came from, with even Android 17 never having seen that species of bird before. After a blinding light appears above, revealing Xeno Trunks and Xeno Pan having successfully found Tokitoki. When Goku asks if that is Trunks, Vegeta explains that he is a version of Trunks from another world. Xeno Trunks and Xeno Pan explain that they are from the Time Patrol and that Tokitoki's existence is very important to all dimensions.
All twelve Gods of Destruction
Suddenly, all twelve Gods of Destruction appear. Beerus powers up a Energy of Destruction Ki Blast, but Tokitoki flies upwards and flapping his wings, wipes out the energy blast. Goku asks Beerus what he is doing and he explains that according to his prediction, a strange bird will appear in Universe 7 and will destroy all of the universes. Xeno Trunks refuses to believe it, citing how Tokitoki had previously saved all dimensions. Xeno Pan then returns herself and Tokitoki back to the Time Nest.
The Dragon Team prepare to face Beerus
The Gods of Destruction fire up their own blast but Beerus tells them that he will take responsibility for his universe. Preparing for a fight, Goku and Vegeta head upwards with the others joining them. Transforming into Super Saiyan Blue, Goku charges forward at Beerus as the battle begins. Meanwhile, Fu watches events unfold from his lab. Behind him a large tree with a glowing center throbs as Dogidogi lands besides Fu, the bird that the Gods of Destruction were truly seeking.
Beerus stops Xeno Trunks' attack with ease
Goku, Vegeta and Xeno Trunks take on Beerus but are unable to land a single blow amongst them. The battle is put to an end with the arrival of Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta who tell that them now is not the time to be fighting as they point out the roots belonging to the Universe Tree. The Gods of Destruction visualise as the tree's oots wrap around planets before absorbing them of their energy, leaving them to crumble to dust. Realizing that the matter with the bird is now trivial, the Gods of Destruction return to their own universes.
Fu and Dogidogi
Xeno Vegeta explains that they were sent by Chronoa and Beerus realizes that they are from another dimension. Suddenly, Fu arrives along with Dogidogi and explains that the Universe Seed is now growing into the Universe Tree with Hearts just being part of his plan all along. Beerus deduces that Fu is using the universe as nourishment for the tree's growth and angrily asks what he plans to do with it. Fu tells him that he will create a brand new universe by attaching the energy of all the other universes into it before disappearing through a rift.
The group watch as the Universe Seed saps energy
As the tree continues to sap more energy, Krillin is the first to feel its effects followed by Piccolo. A danger to all living things, Beerus unleashes his own power to counter the tree, halting it from being able to absorb energy for the time being. Telling the others that he can only keep it up for so long, he orders the others to do something about Fu and the Universe Tree. Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta; Gohan, Krillin, Piccolo and Android 17; Goku, Vegeta and Xeno Trunks then split into teams to do their own searching and investigating.
Dogidogi Tracking
Bojack, Super 17 and Dr. W
At the base of the Universe Tree, Fu, with Towa at his side, greet Bojack, Turles, Super 17, Meta-Cooler and Dr. W and ask if they want to fulfill their dreams in his new upcoming Universe. As Bojack looks around, he becomes enraged upon seeing the Saiyan Turles, charging at him as the two fight in the air. Fu intervenes and stops the two, explaining that their target is Goku and his allies who will attempt to stop their plan while also giving them the chance to exact their revenge.
Goku and the others trying to find Fu
Elsewhere, Goku, Vegeta, Xeno Trunks, Xeno Pan and Tokitoki continue to track down Fu. As they sense an enemy approaching, Goku and Vegeta head upwards where, much to their surprise, they come face to face with Turles and Bojack who they recognise as having attacked Earth years ago. Turles fires a ki blast at Goku and when he deflects it, Turles appears to grab him from behind. Bojack rushes in, still angry at Goku for having helped him allow Gohan to win their battle, only for Vegeta to interfere, demanding how and why they have returned.

Telling them that they aren't the same as before, Bojack and Turles power up and Goku and Vegeta respond in kind becoming Super Saiyan Blue. Vegeta takes on Bojack while Goku takes on Turles. On the ground below Tokitoki begins to go wild due to the appearance of Fu and Dogidogi. Goku and Vegeta attempt to go face him but Turles and Bojack refuse to let them go, declaring that only they are their opponents. Fu continues to be overjoyed as events continue to unfold to his liking, with the battles helping his Universe Tree to grow.
Super Saiyan 3 Xeno Vegeta
Meanwhile in Hell, Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta come across the mysterious Dr. W who claims to have been waiting for them. The Saiyans ask where he came from and what he is planning but Dr. W decides to confront them instead. Beginning his analysis, Dr. W throws out an energy blast from his double energy blade which vanishes before it reaches its target and re-appears again, striking Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta in the back. Annoyed, Xeno Vegeta transforms into Super Saiyan 3 and makes a beeline straight for Dr. W but misses with a punch. With another attack, Dr. W sends Xeno Vegeta into the lava below.
Super Saiyan 4 Xeno Goku
Xeno Goku also transforms into a Super Saiyan 3 and fires a series of Ki blasts at Dr. W along with Xeno Vegeta but Dr. W analyses the blasts and quickly cancels them out with his own blast. As Dr. W continues to give them trouble, the two transform into Super Saiyan 4 with Xeno Goku firing his Kamehameha and Xeno Vegeta his Galick Gun. However Dr. W happily receives the blasts without resistance and emerges entirely unharmed, declaring that his analysis is complete. Laughing, he then disappears through a space time distortion.
Fu captures Tokitoki
Meanwhile, having become bored, Fu sends out Dogidogi who upon flapping his wings causes Goku, Vegeta, Xeno Trunks and Xeno Pan to be unable to move. Fu takes the opportunity to then capture Tokitoki and send him off somewhere through another space time distortion. With their mission successful, Fu and Dogidogi along with Turles and Bojack leave causing the others to wonder what they plan to do with Tokitoki.
Elsewhere, Dr. W makes his way to a cave where the the Soul Cleansing Machine is situated, stating that Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta's data now belongs to Janemba.
Epic Showdown in Hell

Later on in a separate part of Hell, Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta take on the newly empowered Janemba though he easily fends off the two attacking Saiyans. Standing nearby, Dr. W watches the battle, claiming that they should not be able to defeat him due to him being given the two Saiyans abilities. As Janemba attempts to attack again, a time distortion unexpectedly opens above and Goku, Vegeta, Xeno Trunks and Xeno Pan fall through. While everyone is confused on the current circumstances, Janemba attacks the group.
Salsa and Putine appear
Goku and Vegeta head into battle as Super Saiyan Blue but they fair no better than their Time Patrol counterparts and the other four Saiyans soon join in. They fire a blast in unison but Janemba is unscathed, Goku and his counterpart attack together and finally land a hit on him though it deals no notable damage. Suddenly, Janemba's legs are encased in ice just as Putine and Salsa emerge through another distortion. Salsa uses his Tricky Storm technique, sending out a surge of violent waves that hurtle Janemba backwards into the cliffside.

At the Time Nest, Chronoa tells Xeno Trunks and Xeno Pan that Tokitoki went missing after a tear in space-time appeared. Xeno Trunks and Xeno Pan volunteer to search for him and head out. Chronoa wonders if Dogidogi had been released.
Tokitoki appears in a city on Earth where Goku and Vegeta are sparring with the Dragon Team. Xeno Trunks and Xeno Pan arrive and Goku greets them, confusing Xeno Trunks with Future Trunks before Vegeta corrects him. Xeno Trunks explains that he and Tokitoki are with the Time Patrol, and that Toktioki's existence is very important for the sake of all dimensions.
The twelve Gods of Destruction appear, and Beerus targets Tokitoki. Goku and Xeno Trunks ask Beerus what he is doing, and Beerus explains that the Oracle Fish predicted that a strange bird would appear in Universe 7 and destroy all the universes. Xeno Trunks refuses to believe it, pointing out that Tokitoki is a divine bird, but Beerus adds that several untouched planets in Universe 7 had already been destroyed. Quitela complains that Beerus always talks unnecessarily and tells him to get on with it. Xeno Trunks tells Xeno Pan to take Toktioki and get out of there, while he and the Dragon Team hold off the Gods of Destruction.
Elsewhere, Fu speaks to Dogidogi, commenting that Tokitoki had come to Earth to search for him before exclaiming that the experiment to burst open the universes is about to begin.
Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta, who had been informed about the situation by Chronoa, arrive on Earth to help Xeno Pan. Xeno Pan tells them that the Gods of Destruction are going to overwhelm the Dragon Team, but Xeno Goku is more concerned that something bigger is brewing.
Elsewhere, Beerus and Whis see the root of a Universe Tree. Fu appears with Dogidogi, and thanks everyone for attending his experiment. Goku asks him what he is up to, and Fu explains that he raised the completed Universe Seed into a Universe Tree, which when fully grown will spread its roots across the entire universe and absorb nutrients from every universe, growing into a tree the size of the galaxy that will bear a new universe. Vegeta exclaims that he won't let Fu do what he pleases, and the Time Patrol and Dragon Team attack Fu.
Fu escapes, and Krillin asks whether anyone else feels suffocated. Whis explains that the universe's energy is being absorbed, but furthermore that the tree is prioritizing who to absorb, with Beerus left unable to move. Xeno Goku tells Xeno Trunks to pursue Fu with the aid of the Dragon Team, while he and Xeno Vegeta do something else. Xeno Trunks asks Goku and Vegeta for their help, and they agree.
Dogidogi Tracking
Fu has a conversation with his allies, explaining that he had revealed Dogidogi to the heroes to lure them into a trap. Fu asks Bojack and Turles to entertain them for a bit, and they agree on the condition that they get to beat the heroes up. Towa expresses concern, saying that they will need Goku and his friends after their plan is complete, but Fu reassures her that they will grow stronger from the fight.
Dr. W travels to Hell where he is confronted by Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta, who he recognizes as members of the Time Patrol. He asks them to help tune his body, and Goku and Vegeta attack him. Dr. W dodges all of their attacks, causing Goku to complain that he isn't fighting back. Vegeta tells Goku to keep his guard up and Dr. W continues encouraging the pair to attack him. Seemingly defeating Dr. W, Goku remarks that he didn't seem as tough as he seemed, only for Dr. W to reveal that he had learned their powers, and greatly increased his strength. Proclaiming himself the greatest scientist, he thanks them for helping his plan overcome a great hurdle before disappearing.
Meanwhile, Goku, Vegeta, Xeno Trunks, Xeno Pan and Tokitoki arrive where they detect Dogidogi to be, though Goku is unable to sense Fu's ki. Bojack arrives, holding one of Dogidogi's feathers, and Vegeta realises that they had been led into a diversion. He mocks Bojack, questioning what he could even do to them and asking if he had forgotten how he had lost before, but Bojack expresses ignorance and attacks, proving to have grown significantly stronger. Turles also arrives and greets Goku, joining the battle alongside Bojack.
Fu and Towa appear, and Towa orders Bojack and Turles to retreat now that Dr. W's plan has begun to move forward. Trunks questions why Towa is there and attacks, but Towa quickly breaks off the fight. The group instead battles Fu, only to be frozen in time by Dogidogi. Fu uses the opportunity to capture Tokitoki and leaves with Towa, leaving the heroes unable to pursue them. Goku suggests that they return to Earth to bring along Gohan, Piccolo and Android 17, Trunks agreeing and preparing to send them back.
Epic Showdown in Hell
While wondering where Dr. W had disappeared to, Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta are attacked by Black Janemba. Goku and Vegeta are unable to read Janemba's moves, and their attacks have no effect on him. Dr. W appears and explains to the Saiyans that he had analyzed and input their battle data into the new Janemba. During their battle, Goku, Vegeta, Xeno Trunks and Xeno Pan land in Hell, their Instant Transmission having been redirected by a spacetime distortion. After Xeno Goku explains the situation to the group, they assist Xeno Goku and Vegeta in fighting Janemba, as well as the other inhabitants of Hell.
Suddenly, Janemba is stopped in his tracks by ice, created by the demon Putine who arrives with Salsa. They explain that they're no longer with the Demon Realm and have lost their Demon God powers, and team up with the group to fight Janemba and the villains. During the battle, Xeno Vegeta questions their motives, and Salsa explains that they intend to follow the heroes to Fu, as they share an interest in preventing his plan. Xeno Trunks tries to question them further, but is interrupted by a telepathic cry from King Kai, who informs them that the roots of the Universe Tree are encroaching over every universe, and that the Gods of Destruction and Supreme Kais have all suddenly disappeared. Xeno Trunks asks Salsa to take them to Fu, but the demon insists on taking care of the villains from Hell first.
As the fight with Black Janemba continues, Xeno Trunks transforms into a Super Saiyan God. Dr. W comments to himself that Towa had warned him of the Time Patrol wielding the power of the gods, but doesn't consider it a threat. Remembering when the Saiyans all pooled their power into Goku during the fight against Syn Shenron, Salsa suggests that they do the same for Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta. Vegeta refuses to take part, but the others agree and give their power to the Xeno Saiyans.
With the added power they start dealing damage to Janemba, but still aren't strong enough to win the battle. Vegeta finally gives in and shares his power, pushing Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta past their limits into the Super Full Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker form. The duo start overwhelming Black Janemba, and finally destroy him with a Double Ultimate Dragon Fist. Dr. W screams in rage, unable to understand how they could have become strong enough to destroy the remodelled Janemba, and flees. Xeno Trunks celebrates their victory over Janemba, and Salsa tells them that they need to hurry to Fu's location.
Elsewhere, a mysterious dead man hears the voice of Demigra, and asks what he wants. Demigra expresses disappointment that a man of such ambition would end up directionless, and asks him to come with him.[1]
Anime and Manga differences
- In the anime, Xeno Trunks and Xeno Pan are at the Time Nest when Chronoa explains to them the disappearance of Tokitoki. In the manga, they are in the Demon Realm finishing off the last of the Demon Realm Soldiers.
- Goten and Trunks discover Tokitoki in the manga whereas it is Goku who discovers him in the anime.
- Piccolo, Gohan, Android 17 and Krillin do not make an appearance in the manga unlike in the anime.
- In the manga, when Beerus fires a blast at Tokitoki it is stopped after Xeno Trunks deflects it as a Super Saiyan God. In the anime, Tokitoki stops it himself after flapping it's wings.
- In the manga, Goku fights Beerus in space and Vegeta and Xeno Trunks do not take part.
- In the manga, Beerus creates a Energy Shield to protect the Universe from its energy being sapped away. In the anime, he focuses its sapping ability purely on himself.
- In the manga, Xeno Vegeta uses Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2 against Dr. W before turning Super Saiyan 4. In the anime, he uses Super Saiyan 3 before turning Super Saiyan 4.
