"Here it comes! Jiren, don't regret giving me the time to make this. This is Universe 7's ultimate attack, the Spirit Bomb."
— Goku using this attack against Jiren.

The Universe 7's Spirit Bomb (第7宇宙の元気玉 Dai Nana Uchuu no Genki Dama, lit. Seventh Universe Energy Ball) is a powerful version of the Spirit Bomb, used by Goku in the Tournament of Power. It is a Super Spirit Bomb powered by every member of Team Universe 7 (except Vegeta), to be used as a final attack against Jiren.

Overview

Realizing that even Super Saiyan Blue Kaio-ken was no match for Jiren, Goku decides to use his trump card: the Spirit Bomb. With help from all of Team Universe 7 (including Frieza, surprisingly), except for Vegeta, Goku prepares a giant Spirit Bomb using the donation of energy. Though remarkably powerful, this attack was also near useless against Jiren, who effortlessly forced the energy ball back at Goku, striking him instead.

Though his attack was unsuccessful, being struck by the Universe 7's Spirit Bomb enabled Goku to break through into his deeper potential, achieving the Ultra Instinct -Sign- state.

Master Roshi commented that, even though Jiren overpowered the attack, the Universe 7's Spirit Bomb would have defeated Jiren, had he been hit by it.

This is supported by Belmod stating that the energy of the Spirit Bomb had him worried (although he remained confident in Jiren). Arack also implied the energy ball possessed a good amount of energy, with Champa concerned that it seemed dangerous.

Whis later states that Kefla's energy as a Super Saiyan rivaled that of the Spirit Bomb, which allowed Goku to break his "self-limiting shell" and achieve Ultra Instinct -Sign- once again.
