Tsumisumbri Mountains

The Tsumisumbri Mountains

Tsumisumbri Mountains, or Tsurumai-Tsuburi Mountains, are a mountain range located in the north on Earth. It is so cold the ice cannot be melted, even Piccolo's energy waves are incapable of even damaging the ice.

Dr. Kochin and Dr. Wheelo had a base on these mountains which was frozen over, caused by an avalanche which some believe was a punishment from the Heavens. These mountains appear in the movie Dragon Ball Z: The World's Strongest. Gohan and Oolong arrived here after Oolong looked at the Dragon Radar and noticed an odd sight: the Dragon Balls were apparently moving towards the mountains. There, Gohan and Oolong find that the seven Dragon Balls have been gathered before they could reach them. Shenron was summoned by Dr. Kochin to wish that his mentor, Dr. Wheelo, would be released from the unmeltable ice.

In the video game Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, the battle against Dr. Wheelo takes place in an area called Glacier.
