  • This is probably a topic some have been wanting to know. Is it possible for Kid Buu to possibly return in Dragon Ball Super? Well I believe there are some ways for Kid Buu to make a big return in either in manga or anime.

    1. Cloning: This one is quite obvious. As shown in FighterZ, making a clone of Good Buu just turns into another incarnation of Kid Buu with a similar personality. However this really isn’t a REAL way to revive Kid Buu, however it could be considered due to how similar the Clone Buus and Kid Buu act.

    2. A Majin loses their Heart: Similar to the last one, this is quite obvious and is not a real way to truly revive Kid Buu. But as stated by Good Buu, if a Majin loses their heart in the process of Purification, then they will turn into another Kid Buu.

    3. Someone angers Good Buu: It is implied that if Good Buu were to lose his temper again, then he could possibly unleash Evil Buu, Super Buu or possibly even Kid Buu on Universe 7 again, this will probaly be easily done by another idiot (cough cough Van Zant cough cough) who shoots either Bee or Mr. Satan.

Now that these ways of reviving Kid Buu are stated, now comes the tricky part. How will we calculate a revived Kid Buu’s power, as he will need to be considerably more powerful than before if he is going to match up to the likes of Goku, Vegeta and Beerus. Well in the manga it is quite easy as Good Buu can now use his latent power that was stolen by Evil Buu. Since Purification makes a Majin more powerful, Kid Buu will be even more powerful than Good Buu and thus could probably kill or absorb Planet-Eater Moro, who was able to absorb the energy of Goku and Vegeta, thus Kid Buu should be far superior to Planet-Eater Moro.

In the anime, Good Buu could easily match up to Basil and can easily defeat base Goku. As stated as before, Kid Buu should be superior to that due to Purification.

Does anyone have any objections to the idea of Kid Buu returning to Dragon Ball, flaws in Kid Buu possibly returning or another possible way for Kid Buu or at least an incarnation of Kid Buu to appear in Super?

    • I think bringing back old villains, especially here when it's the exact same way Kid Boo was released in the Boo saga is a bad idea and I think it's unlikely. Then again, Dragon Ball Super is Fanservice: the Anime so who knows for sure

    • Well, I'm not as cynical and aggressive as Creeper, but I too think it wouldn't be a good idea to give Kid Buu the Golden Frieza treatment.

    • Kid Buu isn't needed anymore, Fat Buu has all Kid Buu's power, along with the Grand Kaioshin's power now.

      Which also makes Uub irrelevant.

That’s right, and it also makes Super Saiyan 3 irrelevant.

    • No, it doesn’t. SS3 is a form. If somebody on Jirens level of power for example was to use it, that would be basically Jiren x400. So even without Blue and God Goku and Vegeta are so strong in base form now that adding their SS3 and prince of rage SS2 power should still put them ahead of Buu even if not by much.

    • I noticed something that might also be contributing to Kid Buu's or at least Super Buu's return.

Notice how Dragon Ball is always pushing Good Buu from all the events?

Merely a catalyst to Beerus' reason to blow up Earth and fought the GoD before never appearing again as a important character in the God of Destruction Beerus Saga.

Was asleep during the Frieza Invasion in the Golden Frieza Saga

Went to sleep during the exam for the Tournament of Destroyers in the Universe 6 Saga.

Went to fight in the Zeno Expo to join the Tournament of Power and for the first time we see Buu in an actual fight besides a one-sided one like when he faced off against Beerus and even trimmed down to a form similar to Super Buu, however he then once again falls asleep and forces Goku to revive and recruit Frieza.

Notice how whenever Buu shows up he is always pushed to the side, they have to be planning something for him, Super Buu or Kid Buu.
