Lol, fair enough. Ikr? The one from the BoG movie was even weirder with Vegeta dancing on stage. Still, like it or not, it is a sign that Vegeta is developing.
gt better imo atleast its original, reasons why don't like Super 1 overpowered characters make the villains not seem like a threat anymore 2 characters are out off character 3 each planet has there own hell is stupid imo 4 no blood or rude humor 5 not alot of action
The only time I can enjoy gt is when goku is a ss4. Gt kid Goku I absolutely can not stand. Hate is probably the word that sums up how I felt about gt Goku. (Being a kid) and pretty much everyone else also. Except Vegeta after he shaved. Those two characters alone where the only hero's I liked in gt. So therefore super is better. Blood or not.

How is GT original? They kept rehashing old plots like; use the radar to hunt for the Dragon Balls again, bring back every villain to ever appear in the series and upgrading a villain, and that "using Dragon Balls outside Namek is bad" plot that Elder Kai started.
The pacing for GT is horrible, where they just jumped from one disaster to another, with barely any time to breathe and recover.
The character handling was terrible. With no one outside of Goku and Pan being relevant. Especially that horrible GT Kid Goku, trying to imitate DB Kid Goku's humor and failing so badly.
GT had the same problem with overpoweredness. Goku's base form was illogically overpowered, and it was like he was unable to lose a battle in that state. In fact when he goes SSJ, SSJ3, or SSJ4 he starts losing. There's that meme that GT base Kid Goku is Goku's strongest form period.
Super does way better at keeping the character in-character. Everyone is either so aged that their personalities are dull and unrecognizable, or they're Goku. The only character who is true to his former self is Piccolo.
About the only thing GT did right was the Baby Saga. Everything else was so underwhelming.
You know now that I think about it supers villians might be better than GTs. Because baby is basically another buu. Super 17 (even though he's one of my favorites in the entire series) has been done before. With super 13, plus 17 himself if you count that. All the Shadow dragons were awful to me. Two of them looked exactly the same. Even if they are icey hott. Lol omega I was never a fan of tbh he was really dull and boring as a character. And everyone of these characters didn't really have a very good back story. They created an android in hell and all past villans run free (fusion reborn), he created a parasite thats a mixture of kid buu and cells storys and moves. These dragon balls were defunct so heres evil rats and fish that we call dragons. And through all of this nonsence we had to deal with goku being a kid where we really needed him to be an adult to take it seriously. Pan...enough said. And all the rest of the charcters? Useless. Even vegeta as a ss4 was useless (even though he was badass af) so they had to fuse. Oh and they killed omega the sameway they killed buu. But with an even biggier spirit bomb!! :D yeah! Go team! Seriously i think the writers for dragon ball are retarded. If it wasnt for their kick ass voices and bruce's legandary music. The show wouldnt be nowhere.
And don't even get me started on the Black Star Dragon Ball Saga, with the most cringeworthy villains since Garlic Jr. Speaking of which, Baby was also a rehash of Garlic, with his mind control a cut-paste of the Black Water Mist. But, at least at that point the writers pretended they were trying with the Tuffle backstory.
Exactly, Super 17 was just android fusion, which we had seen in both the Buu Saga and Super 13. As I once said, Super 17 Saga was clear indication the GT writers had no idea what the hell they were doing, not even being able to come up with an original villain. At least Fusion Reborn gave us Janemba. The only part of Super 17 Saga I liked was Goku vs. Cell and Frieza in hell, as they were only 2 GT characters with the same personality.
The Shadow Dragons are so dammed overrated, everyone always praises them as amazing. While I'm here thinking "they were boring as hell villains-of-the-day, with the stupidest designs ever". Who even came up with the crap of: a shadow dragon spawns from a "selfless" wish. The only Shadow Dragons which didn't suck was Nuova, but even he's nothing compared to any of the Z villains. When I first heard of the Shadow Dragons I thought they would at least vaguely resemble Shenron in appearance, and not these X-Men rejects.
The only reason Vegeta was there was because Goku couldn't fuse with Pan, otherwise he'd be as forgotten and useless as everyone else. Yeah, I'm glad you brought that up, the ending of GT was exactly the same as ending of Z. Goku-Vegeta Fusion Vs. villain → unfuse → Goku use Ultimate Spirit-Bomb to kill villain.
Well Dragon Ball still had a huge influence on pop culture. The internet would be a very different place if the Kamehameha and Super Saiyans didn't exist. I can still respect Dragon Ball for all the things it did right, even if it's suffered huge case of seasonal rot for years now.
Baby and the Shadow Dragons were good concepts, but they were executed horribly, especially the Shadow Dragons. The first four are flat out useless and Omega's generic. The dynamic between Nuova and Eis and Nuova's personality in general were the only things they got right.
I keep feeling like a single script editor with common sense could've saved GT and Super (especially Super). So why doesn't TOEI have one?

gt wasn't that great, but i prefer gt over Super the Another thing i didn't like about Super was Z f ighters have got the gods to bale them out because technically frieza and black and Zamasu win but the gods bale them out so villains are alonger a threat, and imo in Super the characters are more out of character especially vegeta he did ridiculous things to stop beerus from destroying earth
