The Ultimate Battle Begins! (超決戦の火ブタ切る!!, Chōkessen no Hibuta Kiru!!; lit. "Kick-Starting the Super Decisive Battle!!") is the three hundred seventh chapter of the Dragon Ball manga. In the Viz release, it is the one hundred thirteenth chapter of Dragon Ball Z. This chapter's anime counterpart is the first half of the episode "The End of Vegeta."

Summary
Frieza brutally beats Vegeta
Standing on top of Frieza's spaceship, Goku has detected that the battle is occurring close by. At the battle site, Frieza continues to mercilessly beat Vegeta. He throws the Saiyan into a rock formation with his tail, then complains that Vegeta is a boring opponent. Just as he is about to finish Vegeta off, Goku arrives, catching everyone's attention.
Frieza remembers Bardock
