"The Three-Star Dragon" (太陽の次は極寒！炎と氷の兄弟龍 Taiyō no Tsugi wa Gokkan! Honō to Kōri no Kyōdai Ryū, lit. "After the Sun, Comes Extreme Cold! The Sibling Dragons of Fire and Ice") is the ninth episode of the Shadow Dragon Saga and the fifty-sixth overall episode of Dragon Ball GT. This episode first aired in Japan on August 20, 1997. Its original American airdate was December 4, 2004.

Nuova charges a fire ball
As Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Nuova Shenron continue their fight, with Nuova firing a fiery energy wave that clashes with Goku's Kamehameha creating a huge explosion that sends nearby vehicles flying into surrounding buildings. As the explosion fades, Nuova & Goku trade blows until Nuova resorts to firing a fiery energy wave from his right hand, which Goku dodges and tries to counterattack with a punch but it fails as Nuova ends up putting Goku in a headlock before firing a Ki Blast in his face which sends Goku flying into a nearby building. Nuova Shenron then flies to Goku waiting as he recovers and opens his eyes before firing his Flaming Shot, though Goku manages to escape from the impact crater before the blast hits producing a spherical fiery explosion.
Nuova manages to outrun Goku as he charges a Kamehameha grabbing him and forcing the Saiyan to fire the attack at a nearby building, with Goku commenting that the Shadow Dragon has greater speed than himself but that he has more power. While within Nuova Shenron's grasp, Goku charges up 10x Kamehameha though mixes in Afterimage Strike to avoid getting grabbed again by the Shadow Dragon. As his afterimages surround Nuova Shenron, the Shadow Dragon stops chasing him and closes his eyes. Using Ki Sense, Nuova Shenron figures out which one is the real Goku when he stops to fire the X10 Kamehameha he'd been charging, with Nuova Shenron blasting Super Saiyan 4 Goku before he can finish his attack, sending him flying into some nearby buildings. When the two take their fight into an abandoned building below Goku manages to trick Nuova Shenron using a mirror and corners the Shadow Dragon. With Goku winning his battle against Nuova Shenron, the Dragon asks Goku to kill him, but he spares the Dragon's life in exchange for not killing Pan when he had the chance.
Now even, Goku says that they can fight as hard as they want. Nuova and Goku prepare to exchange ki attacks, but a third, icy energy wave appears alongside Nuova's, catching Goku off guard and freezing his right arm. Atop a nearby building, Eis Shenron arrives, revealing himself as the Three-Star Dragon and Nuova's brother. When Eis holds up Pan's backpack, Goku realized that during his battle with Nuova, Eis stole the Dragon Balls and brutally attacked Pan. Seeing her staggering in the streets below, he flew down to comfort his injured granddaughter, who apologized for losing the Dragon Balls before losing consciousness.
Goku struggles to move with ice encasing his arms
Eis Shenron uses his Ice Rays to freeze Goku's limbs one by one, starting with his arms while berating Nuova Shenron for being soft however he claims that it is his code and tells Eis Shenron not to interfere and that he can win alone.
After Goku shows he can still fight well with just his legs, Eis Shenron freezes those too, eventually freezing up his entire body. When Eis is finished, he orders his brother Nuova to finally finish off Goku. Nuova, however, only melts the ice off of Goku's body with his Nova Star, much to his brother's frustration, and thus Goku continues to battle the meddling Ice Dragon once again claiming that he will defeat the Dragon in only ten seconds. However, after falling on the ice, Goku changes his mind and claims that he will defeat Eis in only five seconds.

- Eis Shenron was born after the wish made to make most of the general population of Earth to forget the horrors of Majin Buu's rampage as was shown in "Celebrations with Majin Buu".[1]
- Eis himself never comments in the series itself which wish created him and Goku never attempts to ask.
