"The Seal is Released? Gohan's Kamehame-Ha of Resistance" (解けた封印！？ 悟飯抵抗のかめはめ波 Toketa Fūin!? Gohan Teikō no Kamehameha, lit. "The Seal is Broken?! Gohan's Kamehameha of Resistance") is the one hundred sixteenth episode in Japan and the one hundred twenty-third episode internationally of Dragon Ball Z Kai. This episode first aired in Japan on August 10, 2014. Its original American airdate was July 8, 2017.
Summary[]
Goten and Trunks sense a huge ki all throughout the world, and with an uneasy feeling, they head for the biggest ki of all. Smoke then gushes from Majin Buu's egg with amazing force. As Buu is on the verge of reviving, Gohan fires a Kamehameha at his egg. As he continues to fire, Buu’s egg finally splits in half, but it turns out to be empty. While Shin is happy, Gohan senses an enormous ki. The smoke that came pouring out from the egg then gathers, and from out of the smoke appears, Majin Buu! Buu is finally revived!

- The broadcast version of the next episode preview was cut down from 30 seconds to 15 seconds, as the beginning featured a 15 second promotion for a special present giveaway from Fuji TV. Ten lucky fans who submitted a postcard to the lottery giveaway by 01 September 2014 would win a “Dragon Ball Heroes Official 4 Pocket Binder Set” for their Dragon Ball Heroes cards and a copy of Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2 for the Nintendo 3DS. A full 30 second next episode preview was produced, as posted on Fuji TV’s official series website after the episode aired, and is included on the home video release.[1]
