The Original Kamehameha (元祖かめはめ波 Ganso Kamehameha, lit. "Original Kamehame Wave")[1][2][3][4] is the original Kamehameha technique created over fifty years by Master Roshi.
Overview[]
The technique involves wide sweeping arm movements and cupping the hands together before bringing them forward to fire a blue wave of energy.
Usage[]
Roshi uses this attack as Jackie Chun during his match against Goku in the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament.[5]
Roshi against Master Shen when the latter threatens Chiaotzu during the finals of the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament.[6]
Film Appearances[]
In Dragon Ball Z: The World's Strongest, Master Roshi uses it against Dr. Kochin's Bio-Warriors when fighting them inside Dr. Wheelo's Fortress.

In the Budokai Tenkaichi series, it is named The Original Kamehameha where it is one of Master Roshi's Blast 2 in his base and Max Power forms.

Trivia[]
- In "The Fire-Eater", Goku prepares a Kamehameha in a manner similar to how Roshi sometimes prepares his Kamehameha, using the sweeping arm movements. Goku uses it to blow a hole in the mountain to escape through.
