"The Final Battle" (最終決戦 Saishū Kessen) is the sixteenth and final chapter of the Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Dark Demon Realm Mission! manga.
Summary[]
Xeno Trunks, Chronoa and Old Kai pulled from the dark void
After having being pulled into Mechikabura's dark void, Xeno Trunks, Chronoa and Old Kai awaken to see images of their former battles from other timelines. Chronoa explains that Mechikabura has begun to absorb time itself and soon the whole universe will be ruined. As they try to figure out how to escape, several chains appear through a tiny hole of light and latch on to the three as well as an unconscious Towa. They are yanked out of a bound Mechikabura by none other than Demigra, landing in the remains of the Time Nest.
Surprised, Chronoa asks how Demigra, a dark magic user, could manage to pull off such a thing and he explains that he used the Earth Dragon Balls to summon Dark Shenron and wished for the power to oppose Mechikabura, the power of light. However the amount of Dark Energy in his body prevents him from using the power to its full potential. Mechikabura breaks the chains binding him and launches blasts at the group. As Demigra uses his chains to deflect the attacks, he asks Chronoa on the whereabouts of the Key Sword and she explains that Mechikabura had thrown it far away.
Xeno Trunks slashes Mechikabura
Xeno Trunks however says that they still have a power that can fight back, transforming into a Super Saiyan God once more, and he charges at Mechikabura with Demigra using his chains to support him. Xeno Trunks gets in close and lands a powerful strike across Mechikabura's chest with his sword, but Mechikabura's time-absorbed body is able to instantly regenerate, and it heals the wound. Just then the Time Patrol, Robelu and Chamel appear through a rift with Xeno Goku in possession of the Key Sword. Chronoa and Demigra shout at their comrades to buy them some time while Chronoa recharges it. While Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta remove the Potara from the unconscious Old Kai, Super Saiyan Xeno Goten and Xeno Pan fire a few energy blasts at Mechikabura. He blocks them with ease but it creates an opening for Super Saiyan 4 Xeno Gohan to attempt an attack of his own. This too is blocked and Mechikabura goes to fire a counter attack but Xeno Gohan is protected by the magic of Chamel and Robelu.
Xeno Vegito
The now fused Super Saiyan 4 Xeno Vegito flies past Xeno Gohan and straight towards Mechikabura, piling pressure on him with a number of physical and energy based attacks. Though Mechikabura is impressed by his mortal strength, the attacks are still ineffective due to his regeneration. He suddenly finds himself caught by more chains belonging to Demigra and he looks down to see Xeno Trunks wielding the Key Sword, which has evolved from being filled with Chronoa's time power, but he declares that his immortality will render any of their attacks meaningless.
Mechikabura moments from being sealed away
Demigra yanks Mechikabura forward and Xeno Trunks lands another strike, which Mechikabura once again simply laughs off. Mechikabura's smile disappears however when he sees a large seal baring Chronoa's crest appear on his chest, and Xeno Trunks reveals that the power of the gods, the power of darkness, the power of light and the power of time have all been combined in order to seal him away. Xeno Trunks stabs the ground, surrounding Mechikabura with chains and halos to seal him away in the Eternal Labyrinth, Mechikabura vowing to find a way to escape as he is sealed. The Time Patrol begin celebrating their hard earned victory, but Chamel points out that with the history absorbed by Mechikabura now sealed away with him, the world no longer exists. Just as Xeno Pan breaks down crying, Tokitoki appears and transforms into his God Bird form as he flies over a suddenly restored Time Nest. As Old Kai finally comes to, he explains that this is Tokitoki's true form and his true power as one who rules over time.
With the Time Nest's barrier returning, cracks begin to form on Chamel and Robelu's body and Demigra has them retreat. As he begins to leave himself, he tells Chronoa that next time he will claim the Supreme Kai of Time position for himself as the Time Patrol vow to stop him, performing their pose.
Mira arrives on a small asteroid, fearing that he has arrived too late to save Towa, but Towa reassures him that she survived. Fearing pursuit from the Time Patrol, Towa and Mira release their child, Fu, into a portal so that he may grow up in a safe place until his time comes.

Anime, Game and Manga differences[]
- Demigra only has the power of light in the manga.
- In the manga, Demigra, Robelu and Chamel assisted the Time Patrol in their final battle with Mechikabura. In the anime they were not present, and Chamel does not appear in the game.
- In the manga, none of the Demon Gods appear due to previously being absorbed by Mechikabura, except for Towa in her base form who is unconscious during the battle against Mechikabura. In the game, Mira and Fin help them escape from Mechikabura's dark void, and they later help the Time Patrol hold him off during the charging of the Key Sword.
- The manga doesn't adapt a battle between Xeno Bardock and Xeno King Vegeta, Salsa and Shroom, and Dark Broly which happened in the game, taking place concurrently to the Time Patrol trying to find a way out of Mechikabura's dark void.
- In the manga, the final battle takes place in the former location of the Time Nest. In the game and anime, it takes place at Mechikabura's Tower in the Demon Realm.
- Chronoa alone charges the Key Sword in the manga, while Demigra and Tokitoki both helped her in the game.
- In the manga and anime, Mechikabura is sealed away in his Time Power Unleashed form, while Xeno Trunks needed to first seal his transformations and youth away in the game.
Trivia[]
- This chapter and its events are loosely based on the Dark Decisive Battle Saga added in Universe Mission 12 of the game.
- The final two pages, showing Mira and Towa releasing Fu, were added in the volume.
