Summary[]

An image from an episode of Clean God
At Capsule Corporation, Goten and Trunks watch an episode of Clean God where Dirty Mad and his army invade Earth to pollute it but are confronted by Clean God who defeats them and are forced to clean up the mess they made. The show's episode ends and proceeds to advertise the upcoming live action Clean God movie. Goten is excited by the show and upcoming movie while Trunks is disinterested by it. The next day, Goten meets up with Trunks at school, asking if his class has a field trip at a museum to which Trunks disinterestedly replies to.
Trunks' class arrive at the museum where there is a statue of Olibu at its entrance and the guide lady welcomes them. The guide explains that all the statues on display are Earth's heroes from different eras. Rulah stops in front of Master Mutaito's statue and questions on just how rich and famous the heroes must've been after saving the Earth. The guide explains that isn't the case as most of them lost their lives in battle or never revealed their identities, choosing to forgo fame and fortune as Goku's statue lacks a face with only a question mark in its place. While his class looks at Mr. Satan's statue, Trunks notices Great Saiyaman's statue and they have lunch break on Quad. Trunks and his friends have a discussion on why some heroes conceal their identities before a student interrupts them to inform that the Clean God Movie is being shot by the museum much to their delight.

Clean God stops Trunks from getting involved
As the shooting continues of Clean God fighting Dirty Mad, a group of people begin stealing other people's cosplay wears to conceal their identities. Suddenly the local police arrive and halt production. The audience and production staff then expose the perpetrators which turn out to be thieves on the run and left disappointed on how they couldn't blend in. Out of desperation, one of them takes Trunks as hostage but is knocked out causing the rest to flee. As Trunks prepares to chase after them, Clean God stops him from using his powers with his identity being exposed and instead proceeds to defeats the goons himself. Trunks is left stunned at the fact that Clean God may just be a real superhero but before he could continue one of the thieves takes the Guide hostage at gunpoint. However, Clean God knocks the gun out of his hand with a flick and knock him down with Spinning Clean Chop. Clean God then tells Trunks that heroes wear masks to protect those important them, causing Trunks who remember are important to him. The thief tries to flee whilst promising to hunt down Clean God's loved ones but is sent flying by Clean God's Leaping Clean Upper Cut and suspended in the air by fire hydrant Clean God ripped open. He sarcastically asks if the thief had enough before announcing that he will finish him off with his final ultimate attack. Trunks notices his Golden Deck Brush and throws it at Clean God. Clean God thanks Trunks before unleashing his Ultimate Aqua Wash which causes the thief's clothes to disintegrate and defeat him. Trunks smiles in amazement at Clean God's remarkable strength and heroism. As everyone cheers, the movie's director is left extremely confused and asks his crew if they knew the actor was so strong with them saying no, catching Trunks in surprise as he was praising the hero.
After school, Goten flies to Capsule Corp to ask Trunks if he wants to hangout but instead catches him playing the new Clean God game. As they both play, Goten asks Trunks if they should become superheroes, to which Trunks replies with an instant yes before pulling out a notebook to discuss design ideas for their costumes. As they discuss their ideas, Bulma sends off Vegeta and gives Whis a basket of delectables. Trunks finishes his sketches after agreeing to keeping the design classic but his having a scarf instead of a cape. They then begin discussing a potential name before agreeing on being called Saiyamen, but Trunks interjects, stating the name needs an air of mystery to it before landing on X and calls himself X-1 and Goten X-2 because Trunks states he is older than him and that the X makes it nonchalant and cool.

Clean God is revealed to be Gohan
At the Satan House, Mr. Satan is sleeping whilst his students practice martial arts. He wakes when Clean God walks into the dojo and is happy to see him back. Clean God then removes his face mask and helmet to reveal it was Gohan who expresses his annoyance on being asked to play Clean God with Mr. Satan revealing that his student was too ill to play the hero for the movie. Videl walks in with a tray of rice bowls for the Dojo's students before talking about the big incident that transpired earlier at the museum with Gohan smirking it off at them being just some petty thieves. Videl, however, states she was talking about Trunks being present with Gohan stating how he stopped Trunks from fighting in front of his classmates, fearing it would've ruined his social life. Videl remarks that Gohan did the same thing back in the day but understands why he would stop Trunks. Gohan laughs in relief that he wasn't recognized through his superhero monologues before striking a pose and activating his voice changer to enact Clean God, much to Videl's embarrassment and calling out the wrong pose gesture before ending it on keeping all of this a secret. Mr. Satan interrupts by reminding Videl about picking up Pan from School, causing Videl and Gohan to quickly take off.
A few days later, a police chase is going on with officers chasing a biker gang who are about to hit a bunch of kindergarten students crossing the road but before they could a giant Clean God billboard comes crashing down and stopping them on their tracks. A mysterious hero takes the child safely to their mother before revealing it to be two heroes as they jump out from the back of the billboard announcing that they will protect the city in the name of Clean God before announcing themselves officially as Saiyaman X-1 and Saiyaman X-2.

Trivia[]
- Goku's statue being unfinished due to being a forgotten hero ties into Master Roshi's teachings about not using martial arts for fame and fortune but to self-improve. This is why Goku remains unknown to the world as he continues to follow to those teachings and never cared about self-recognition.
- Similarly to Olibu, three other students of King Kai have statues in the hero museum.
- Idasa and Ikose make cameo appearances as students of Mr. Satan's dojo. Surprisingly they don't seem to have aged despite the amount of time that has passed since their last appearance.
