Taro (タロ Taro)[3][4] is a Saiyan and old comrade of Bardock's.

Appearance
Like all Saiyans from Universe 7, Taro possesses a tail and also wears clothing of Saiyans who worked under the Frieza Force. He also possesses a mustache and has a well built physique. Like all Saiyans, Taro also possesses jet black hair and his hair is also short and flat at the top. He is also light in skin complexion and appears to be medium in height.
Personality
Not much is known about his overall personality other than he seems to care about his teammates, Bardock and Leek’s well being as he thought they wouldn’t make it back alive during their mission.
Biography
Dragon Ball Minus and Dragon Ball Super Broly
Main articles: Dragon Ball Minus: The Departure of the Fated Child and Dragon Ball Super: Broly After Bardock and Leek return from a mission due to Frieza's order and heads to his village, Taro is seen calling out to Bardock that Frieza has spotted a planet which requires all the Saiyans to conquer, leaving Leek not to be suspicious of Frieza anymore. But then, Taro mentions that Frieza has been asking about the legendary Super Saiyan, which increases Bardock's suspicion even more. Taro then dies with the rest of the Saiyans when Frieza destroys Planet Vegeta.
Power
As a member of Bardock's Planet Elite Force, Taro is a low class Saiyan like his comrades.

Great Ape
Main article: Great Ape A giant, anthropomorphic, monkey-like creature that Saiyans can transform into at the full moon or when exposed to any source of Blutz Waves to increase their already formidable strength tremendously.

- Taro is named after the taro plant, which continues the veggie-themed naming puns of the Saiyans.
