Majin Buu Saga

Main article: Other World Saga In the Other World Tournament, he makes it to the quarterfinals, where he fights against Torbie from the South Area.

Tapkar demonstrates his superior speed by running around the arena right before the match begins which concerns his opponent. When the fight starts, Tapkar runs around some more and was about to attack Torbie, when he becomes tired from running around so much and gives up. This causes virtually everyone else in the Other World Stadium to fall down in shock. West Kai is a sore loser and complains that Tapkar only lost because the ring was too big, saying it was biased against little people (himself being the shortest Kai).

Techniques and Special Abilities

Tapkar at high speed

  • Super Speed Dash (Chō Supīdo Dasshu)[1] – Technique focused on speed, used by Tapkar during Martial Arts Tournaments. He moves so fast that nobody can tell where he is. However, doing nothing more that running in circle on the ring, Tapkar, exhausted, eventually gives up the tournament. This suggests that the technique requires a lot of energy and stamina.

  • Tapkar's name is based on "Tapioca," a starch extracted from Manioc.
  • Despite being one of the most minor characters in the series, Tapkar's card in the Dragon Ball Z Collectible Card Game was notoriously regarded as one of the most overpowered in the game, to the point that he even received a redemption promo named after him.
