A Tank (戦車 Sensha) is a heavily armored vehicle used in combat. Tanks are capable of massive destruction, employing rockets and missiles to destroy targets. Due to their heavy armor, they are nearly impenetrable by regular bullets and weaker missiles.

Red Ribbon Army Tanks

Tanks were first seen during the Red Ribbon Army Saga, as the Red Ribbon Army have tanks at their disposal. In the anime, Colonel Silver's squadron is seen using tanks to attack cities during their search for the Dragon Balls; they used them notably to attack Pilaf's Flying Fortress and Ox-King's village on Fire Mountain. General Blue also considered using one tank to conquer Penguin Village within a single day when noting its backward nature. Red Ribbon Army Tanks also appear in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, but they only serve a decorative purpose.

Tanks are also commonly used by Earth's Military in order to combat enemies. Tanks were seen in use against King Piccolo, and years later most notably against Cell. The Tanks used by Earth's Military bore a resemblance to the M60 Patton.

In the movie Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn, The Dictator and his army use tanks to battle Goten and Trunks. The tanks they use by are similar to the real life Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer tanks from the Second World War, and a tank similar to the Tiger Ausf. E can be seen among theirs in background at one point.

Mr. Satan is shown arriving in a tank while Gohan is facing Super Buu in the Barren Wasteland on the cover of Dragon Ball chapter 501, "Enter a Savior?!"
