Gohan[]

I think it should be noted that Gohan used a technique very similar to this in Bojack Unbound when his hair got spiky and he gained a golden aura to deflect one of Bojack's minions attack. Legendary Super Saiya-Jin 4 (talk) 15:09, June 25, 2014 (UTC)

His "use" of the form in GT and Fusion Reborn.[]

It should be noted however, that he has not used this power up in those two pieces of media.Rogeta234 (talk) 03:24, February 4, 2017 (UTC)

Page should be removed[]

This form doesn't exist, it was an editor mistake Subpulse (talk) 00:30, February 15, 2017 (UTC)Subpulse

It is considered a form in Dragon Ball Heroes. ~ Yon ~Want to join my army?Visit my talk page! 00:39, February 15, 2017 (UTC)

The preview for dbz episode 195 shows goku fighting the ginyu force as a super saiyan, this was bizarrely changed before the episode itself aired for reasons unclear. Knowing this, even if the form does exist in Dragon Ball Heroes, it would be innacurate to suggest that the form shown in the episode is in any way related to the form displayed in Dragon Ball Heroes. So as to not be misleading, the page shouldn't state the forms alleged uses as fact when they are not confirmed and likely false. I suppose the page shouldn't be removed in that case but comletely changed. Subpulse (talk) 15:57, February 16, 2017 (UTC)Subpulse

I believe the reason why it was changed was because Akira wanted to keep Goku's Super Saiyan form a secret to Pikkon until the tournament. Unfortunately, it was too late to reanimate the scene so they changed Goku's hair instead.Rogeta234 (talk) 16:28, February 16, 2017 (UTC)

Incorrect Name[]

The ability "Super Saiyan Power!" in Dragon Ball Heroes has nothing to do with the form described on the page, it's just a standard transformation ability that gives a better result if the player aces the transformation. The fact that the artwork for one of Goku's cards with the ability happens to depict him with black SS hair, something which he doesn't have in the game itself, is pure coincidence. Partial manifestations[]

Anytime a character gets spikier hair, a golden aura, electricity, green eyes, etc before transforming is a partial manifestation by definition. Honestly, this doesn't even need to be its own article. Strawberries1 (talk) 22:50, 3 March 2022 (UTC)

  • I think its redundant to add all of those occasions, they're part of the full transformation and are just part of the powering up sequence - not distinctly for any sort of purpose. This page was made as a result of DBH referencing the "Warriors of the Dead" occasion (where this was used as a combat ability) through a few cards, and was intended to refer to those sorts of incidents, where a Saiyan uses some Super Saiyan power in a stable state without transforming, as Goku did in that episode. "Partial manifestation" not used here in official capacity, and is simply a descriptor used for this "ability". Neffyarious (talk) 23:04, 3 March 2022 (UTC)

Dragon Ball Heroes doesn't reference it, lol. Dominodalek explains that it's separate on this talk page.Strawberries1 (talk) 23:33, 3 March 2022 (UTC)

The cards that visually acknowledge it are at the bottom of the gallery. Neffyarious (talk) 23:42, 3 March 2022 (UTC)

they're not. As Domino said, it's coincidence that they have Goku with black SS1 hair Strawberries1 (talk) 23:55, 3 March 2022 (UTC)

Last one has a halo, definitely not a coincidence. The "Super Saiyan Power!" ability was a coincidence though. Neffyarious (talk) 23:59, 3 March 2022 (UTC)

It is a coincidence, because that's not how Goku appears in the game. The cards only affect regular transformations.

Official name or not, this article is about "partial manifestations"; you say that's just the descriptor for the ability, but any transformation is a partial manifestation until completion, so they fit that descriptor. Strawberries1 (talk) 04:25, 4 March 2022 (UTC)

Its not how he appears in-game yes, but the card's art is a reference. The page is intended for the power up displayed in "Warriors of the Dead" - and similar occurrences - but if you think the name is too confusing it could be altered. Neffyarious (talk) 11:11, 4 March 2022 (UTC)

In any case, a mention in the trivia section is fine. Strawberries1 (talk) 21:41, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
