Z-Saber[]
I know it's minor, but from the picture, the sword is much closer to Zero's Z-Saber than a lightsaber. I feel that might be worth mentioning, even if it's just due to sheer coincedence

Frieza Force Laser Swords in DBO[]
While doing some research into the subject, it dawned on me that the use of Laser Swords by Frieza Force remnants in Dragon Ball Online may have been inspired by the Earthling Swordsman class that came about through the teachings of Goten and Trunks' Kikoukenjutsu Sword School as historically the members of the school played a key role in defeating the Frieza Force remnants invasion of Earth in Age 820. It would fit with other attempts by the Frieza Force to deploy countermeasures against the martial artists of Earth such as their use of Jiggers to counter basic attacks, though incidentally their first deployment of Jigglers was ultimately defeated by Goten and Trunks using swords which again (additionally it would have also demonstrated the value of trained swordsmen to the Frieza Force). Also the use of Laser Sword technology could also have been devised by the Frieza Force as a way to counter traditional swords and Energy Blade techniques.
However I figured that while it is a perfectly logical conclusion based upon the known facts, it's a little to speculative (unless there official material or in-game reference that proves it's not just mere speculation, though I haven't found any thing beyond circumstantial evidence & logical conclusions based upon known facts, however my logic could be faulty with the end result being speculation).
