Immortal?

Wait, if an angel ceases to function after a god of desruction has died, does that mean the same angel would be attending the next god of destruction appointed by Zeno?  Or would a new angel be appointed by Zeno?  But if it is the same angel, that would mean that the angels are immortal?  Right?  TNTDiscoCisco (talk) 00:15, October 25, 2016 (UTC)

Same angel. They're not immortal, just long-lived. Yakon RenderSandubadearPui Pui Render 00:37, October 25, 2016 (UTC)

"Angels are angelic beings"...I mean...yeah? Angels do tend to be angelic from what I'm told. I think this description needs to be improved upon a tad.RuneTide (talk) 04:45, December 23, 2016 (UTC)

Separation, or removal

Gatchan and the Angels of hell don't appear to be the same species as Whis and company, why are they on this page as angels?Hadomaru (talk) 22:29, January 22, 2017 (UTC)

You're right so they were removed

Same Angel

This[1] and this[2] are the same angel. --Sharingan91 (talk) 10:47, January 23, 2017 (UTC)

More female angels?

I've noticed that the Angels from Universes 10, 11, and 12 are female. Does this mean that the Angels from Universes 13-18, before they were destroyed, had female Angels as well? Think about it: The Angels of the first 9 universes are male and there were 18 universes originally. 9+9=18, so that must mean that there were an equal amount of male and female angels. Do you guys agree with this? I just thought of this before I went to sleep last night.Rogeta234 (talk) 13:58, April 15, 2017 (UTC)

What about Vados then? ylc0304 (talk) 08:04, July 17, 2017 (UTC)

Angels are Deities

Angels, possesing Godly Ki and being personal attendants to thier respective Gods of Destruction, are in fact, deities. The information that says otherwise in the first paragrapgh of this article is inorrect Faiquan (talk) 05:37, July 18, 2017 (UTC)

Angels

The term Angel is not used in the way of a race. Eveytime the term is used, it's in reference to their association with a universe just like the Destroyers and Supreme Kai

Here's the source Whis is stated to be the 7th Universe's Angel (Dai-Nana Uchuu Tenshi) just like Beerus is the 7th Universe's God of Destruction (Dai-Nana Uchuu Hakaishin) or Zamasu is the 10th Universe's Kaioh (Dai-Juu Uchuu Kaiou)

You're taking it way too literally. The reason why they are referred in association with their universe, is because it's where they come from. For example, before we knew about Cus' name, we referred to her as "Universe 10's Angel" because we knew she's from Universe 10. ~ Yon ~Want to join my army?Visit my talk page! 05:37, July 29, 2017 (UTC)

Angels of Hell

In this and other pages, angels of Hell are said to be angels, and also appear in the gallery. Actually in Japanese they are 妖精たち (Yosei-Tachi), not 天使 (Tenshi), so they are "a different kind of angels". I believe the page should be more clear about this. Pepesale (talk) 16:49, June 4, 2018 (UTC)

If a GoD (God of Destruction) asked their Angel to fight, will they be erased? We learn from the example with Merus, Whis, and the Grand Priest in the chapter that was released in December 2019, that Angels cannot directly interfere in mortal affairs. However, Whis has done this at the behest of Beerus many times, such as training Goku and Vegeta to become Beerus' rivals, using Temporal Do-Over to save Earth by allowing Goku to kill Frieza, and also exposing Zamasu's evil nature.

Whis has also trained mortals, and according to the Grand Priest, because of the food of Earth. And yet, he hasn't been "eradicated."

Full Name

The manga revealed the full name for these beings and they're known as "Guide Angels" ガイドてん使. Would it be better to rename this page in favor of not having every single "angelic"-type being on this page and keep exclusively these beings? Meshack (talk) 17:23, April 23, 2020 (UTC)

Where in the manga are they referred to as such? ~ Yon ~Want to join my army?Visit my talk page! 18:07, April 23, 2020 (UTC)

When the Guide Angels were revealed in Chapter 28 Meshack (talk) 18:28, April 23, 2020 (UTC)

Moving the image Meshack provided to this thread for visibility. I unfortunately don't have a Shonen Jump membership so I can't check the official Viz version of the chapter, but a Mangastream scan (which as far as I know is literally the Viz version with a Mangastream logo plastered on it) has it translated as "Guide Angel" as well. I agree with renaming the page. — FinalTalk 17:39, May 1, 2020 (UTC)

As I stated earlier on Meshack's talk page, I agree with renaming the page as well. ~ Yon ~Want to join my army?Visit my talk page! 02:42, May 2, 2020 (UTC)

Viz has it the same as the Japanese Meshack (talk) 02:59, May 2, 2020 (UTC)
