Why didn't they bring him back to life with the dragon balls?--Bluestripe the Wild ^{For Salamandastron!} 21:30, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Likely because he doesn't want to be wished back, as he states on two occasions. The first time to Roshi, whom he admits to that he has many brunette "friends" in other world, meaning he's also obsessed with females; a similar trait he shares with Roshi. I know grandpa Gohan said a few times he likes it in the other world, but I don't think they could revive him anyway even if he wanted to come back to life. Isn't it that the Earth's Dragon balls cannot revive those who are dead for over a year? --°oO ~ Shen_ron ~ Oo° 19:25, October 6, 2009 (UTC)

His Mask

No, you can only use the dragon balls one year after it's use. Like when Goku dead from Raditz. It was over a year he spend training with King Kai"It's just says 'Dear Freeza' and has a picture of a butt on it." 15:05, March 17, 2011 (UTC)

One possibility...

...that Granpa Gohan decided to become reincarnated as Goku's son, his namesake and great-grandson. Hence why we never saw him in any DBZ Afterlife sequences. Gojirob (talk) 06:10, June 29, 2014 (UTC)
