I feel like the Poazusaurus deserves a separate page. It (or a multitude of them) have more appearances in the series than any other animal (Or at least, I think so?). Obviously, there should be a link, but I feel like the character/creature should be treated differently. --Silver Sinspawn (talk) 05:23, April 14, 2014 (UTC)

Tyrannosaurus is a genus, rex the species. Both should be in italics, but only the generic name should be capitalised. You can reduce this to T.rex but the capitalisation and italics should remain the same.

By convention, the name of any [dinosaur] species is a compound of two words, always found together. These names are always italicized in print.

Note that the genus and species names are given in italics and the family name is not.

Every dinosaur has a scientific name, usually made up from Latin or Greek, and written in italics.

While there is good reason to italicize their names (as demonstrated above), there is absolutely no justification for removing the italics whatsoever. -SkekSam (talk) 12:15, August 1, 2015 (UTC)

I was doing a bit of digging on DBZ: Kakarot's Japanese names, and has "Paozusaurus" ever actually been used to refer to the big dinosaur with the spikes around its neck? I know people thought that was the name because "Paozusaurus Tail" is an item in Budokai 3 and the dinosaur actually appears in that game as well, but I found out the name "Paozusaurus" actually comes from an episode of GT where Chi-Chi's talking about food. Several of the other foods mentioned, like centipede soup, are also items in Budokai 3, so unless there's something that's specifically used to mention that the dinosaur Gohan fought is the Paozusaurus, I might change the page accordingly, if no one has any objections. Seems like a bit of erroneous info that just got accepted as being official since people kept calling it "Paozusaurus" for so long. BubbleRevolution (talk) 10:54, February 3, 2020 (UTC)
