Super Saiyan Rosé vs. Ultra Instinct! A Great Planet-Shaking Battle! (スーパーサイヤじんロゼVSがっごくわくせいげきしんだいけっとう Sūpā Saiya-jin Roze Bāsasu Migatte no Gokui! Wakusei Gekishin no Dai Kettō!) is the thirty-sixth episode of Super Dragon Ball Heroes.

Summary

Vegeta powers up his Galick Gun

The Crimson-Masked Saiyan, having previously defeated Goku and Hearts, continues to hold Goku by his throat until Vegeta shouts at him, grabbing his attention. Vegeta begins to charge up a Galick Gun and the Crimson-Masked Saiyan promptly tosses Goku aside. Staring at Vegeta, he recalls what Fu had told him about his future, and that the limitations of his body would eventually catch up to him and become his undoing. Vegeta realizes that the mystery Saiyan is from an alternate timeline, and the Crimson-Masked Saiyan explains that as he crossed various timelines, he encountered and battled Goku in every one, defeating and killing them all, regardless of their use of Super Saiyan 3, Super Saiyan God, or Super Saiyan Blue. His current fight with Goku on Planet Vegeta marks his 100th encounter with Goku.

As Vegeta is about to fire off his attack, he suddenly falls to his knees and drops out of the Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (Controlled Berserk) state, to which the Crimson-Masked Saiyan notes that he has not yet mastered that power. The Crimson-Masked Saiyan then powers up a blast of his own, as he prepares to eradicate both Vegeta and his home planet, but Goku unexpectedly returns and appears behind him in his Ultra Instinct Sign state.

Goku appears behind the Crimson-Masked Saiyan

The Crimson-Masked Saiyan turns quickly and blasts Goku at point-blank range, though it causes no damage to him. Goku proceeds to avoid every one of his opponent's attacks and appears to have the advantage in battle. Though the Crimson-Masked Saiyan nearly catches Goku off-guard at one point, he is still overpowered. The Crimson-Masked Saiyan notes that if Goku can continue to grow stronger, then so can he, since he is also Goku. He takes to the skies and fires a couple of energy blasts to leave Planet Vegeta on the verge of destruction, taunting Goku to survive the coming disaster. Meanwhile, Hearts recovers his comrade Cumber, before spotting a Dragon Ball hidden beneath some rubble.

Cell appears

Goku lands near Vegeta and Hearts and attempts to use Instant Transmission to escape, but is unable to as he cannot sense any other ki signatures. However, Cell appears, much to everyone's surprise. An enraged Crimson-Masked Saiyan tries to dispose of him, only to be hit by a blast from Turles, distracting him. Turles is vaporized by the Crimson-Masked Saiyan in retaliation, but the time he bought allows Cell to teleport away along with the others. The Crimson-Masked Saiyan curses Cell's interference before he teleports himself away, just as Planet Vegeta explodes.

Later, Goku asks Cell how he was able to come back, though Cell simply says it is just the same way how Cumber was able to. Vegeta asks why he decided to save them, but Cell tells them to be patient and hear what he has to say. Two other figures then appear behind the group, with Goku and Vegeta surprised by their identity.
