Beyond Super Saiyan Blue is a state achievable by a Super Saiyan Blue user who has broken through their limits.

Overview

Appearance

Being a form beyond the original Super Saiyan Blue, the form looks quite similar to that, however, with some differences. The hair, the eyes and the aura display a more intense blue color compared to the standard Super Saiyan Blue. The eyes sport now visible pupils (similar to Super Saiyan 3, Super Saiyan God and Ultra Instinct -Sign-). The light particles of the aura now display a stronger glint, being bigger and taking the form of four-pointed stars, as well as the subtle yellow glow of the Super Saiyan Blue disappearing completely.

In addition, the body of the Saiyan gains an increase in its muscle mass, similar to the Super Saiyan 2nd Grade.

Usage and Power

Vegeta achieved this form by remembering his promise to revive Cabba and Universe 6, and desperately needing more power to battle Jiren breaking through his limits.

Vegeta and Goku (who is using Super Saiyan Blue Kaio-ken beyond its limits) attack Jiren and begin to gain an advantage. In this state, Vegeta's performance appears to be equivalent to Goku's.

Apparently, this form is Vegeta's equivalent for Goku's Ultra Instinct -Sign-, as Whis and the Great Priest stated that Vegeta was able to access this form by breaking his "self-limit shells", just like Goku did.
