Super God Shock Flash (超神閃撃 Chōjin Sengeki, lit. Super God Flash Attack) is a Rush Attack used by Goku in his Super Saiyan Blue form in Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’.

Overview[]

After enduring an attack from his opponent, Goku places his hand with his index and middle fingers out near his opponent's chest, then makes a fist to deliver a hard punch to the opponent's gut that blasts them away with a powerful shockwave.

Usage[]

In Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’, Super Saiyan Blue Goku uses this against a highly weakened Golden Frieza. Having outpaced the tyrant's rapidly diminishing stamina and infuriated him further, Goku tanks a punch to the face with ease, shocking Frieza, before responding with Super God Shock Flash to cripple him. Frieza is left open to a hard kick to the ground, allowing Goku to follow up with God Kamehameha.

Goku's Super God Shock Flash in Xenoverse

In Xenoverse, it is named Super God Shock Flash and is one of Super Saiyan Blue Goku's Super Skills as part of the Resurrection ‘F’ Pack DLC. It can be obtained by the Future Warrior as a reward in Resurrection ‘F’ Pack DLC Parallel Quest Event: "First Training". Alternatively, it can also be obtained in Resurrection ‘F’ Pack DLC Parallel Quest Event: "Eternal Rival".

In Extreme Butōden, it is named One-Inch Punch and is one of Super Saiyan Blue Goku's special attacks.

In Xenoverse 2, it returns as one of SSGSS Goku's Super Skills in his Whis Symbol Gi 1 Skillset. It can be obtained by the Future Warrior by purchasing it from the skill shop. After the 1.09.00 Update DLC, it can be equipped to Goku's custom skillset via partner customization. After the 1.15.00 Update DLC, it can be added to the custom skillsets of Goku (Super Saiyan 4), SSGSS Vegito, & SSGSS Gogeta after purchase it in partner customization.

In Dragon Ball Heroes, it is one of Xeno Goku's super attacks in his normal, Super Saiyan, and Super Saiyan 3 forms, with Xeno Goku using Instant Transmission to appear in front of the opponent before initiating the attack. In Heroes the attack is called Super Dragon Shock Flash (超龍閃撃 Chōryu Sengeki, lit. Super Dragon Flash Attack), the same name as the Super Dragon Fist from the Xenoverse series, which may potentially be a mistake.

In World Mission, the attack is localized in English as Super Dragon Flash, which is similar to the literal translation of its Japanese name 超龍閃撃 (Chōryu Sengeki lit. Super Dragon Flash Attack). It can be used by Xeno Goku as a Super Attack in his normal, Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 3, and Super Saiyan 4 forms. It can also be learned by all Berserker type Hero Avatars.

In FighterZ, it appears in the game as one of Super Saiyan Blue Goku's special moves. It is a teleporting command grab that comes in three variants: light, medium, and heavy. The light variant causes the least amount of stun but comes out quicker. The medium variant causes more stun but comes out slower. The heavy variant is much like the medium, except it does more damage. The light and heavy variant perform the punch regardless of if the actual command grabs lands or not.

Trivia[]

  • This attack is based on the One-inch punch, a Chinese punching exercise popularized by Bruce Lee and is even called One-Inch Punch in Extreme Butōden.
