Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Tutorial description

Sudden Storm (サドンストーム) is a one-handed Energy Barrage technique used by Turles in Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might.

Overview

Turles releases a rapid barrage of homing purple ki blasts from his right hand at his opponent, causing a massive accumulation of damage.

Variations

  • I'll Dig Your Grave! - Turles punches the opponent, followed by a knee strike to the air. Then, he knocks the opponent to the ground, followed by a Sudden Storm. Turles used this attack against Goku towards the end of the film.

  • Sudden Storm-like Energy Wave - In Xenoverse 2, Turles in his unfinished Supervillain form uses an unnamed Sudden Storm-like Energy Wave to attack the Future Warrior and Future Trunks alongside Lord Slug's Darkness Blaster. However Future Trunks and the Warrior are able to counter both techniques using a combined Burning Attack and Energy Wave.

Game Appearances

In Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and its sequel this technique appeared as a generic energy barrage technique called Full Power Energy Barrage Wave, though Turles performs it one-handed like he does in the film.

"Fire a series of evil Ki Blasts!"
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Skill description

It was finally named Sudden Storm in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 where it appears as one of Turles' Super Skills. It can be learned by the Future Warrior (Xenoverse 2) by completing Turles' Initiation Test to train under him. Sudden Storm has great homing capabilities and rate of fire, but costs two ki bars to fire (most Super Skills usually on require one ki bar).
