Gohan in the Southwest Forest after being beaten by Majin Buu

Southwest Forest[1] is an area located north of Fortuneteller Baba's Palace. It is where Babidi hid his spaceship when he arrived on Earth.

The top of Babidi's ship

Supreme Kai and the Z Fighters find this location following Yamu and Spopovich from the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament. The two henchmen are killed by Babidi and Pui Pui after delivering the Energy Absorber, and then Dabura kills Kibito and transforms Krillin and Piccolo into stones.

The remaining Z Fighters and Supreme Kai then enter the spaceship, and after several battles, Majin Buu is finally resurrected. Gohan and Supreme Kai are easily defeated by the Majin, and Krillin and Piccolo are turned back to normal when Majin Buu kills Dabura. After this, Majin Vegeta confronts Buu and sacrifices himself in an attempt to kill the pink monster, but Buu was able to regenerate.

After the battles, the surviving Z Fighters go to Kami's Lookout, and the revived Kibito brings the wounded Supreme Kai and Gohan to the Sacred World of the Kais. After training in the Sacred World of the Kais, Kibito brings Gohan back into the forest for the battle against Super Buu.

The Southwest Forest was named in Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury. Enemies encountered in here are Majin Fighters, Majin Soldiers, and Red Destroyers, as well as Ghouls later in the game. A man in this forest tells a secret about Yajirobe; walking anti-clockwise around Yajirobe three times makes appear the Z-Fighter Exhibit #12, Yajirobe's Sword, near this man. Later, Kibito brings Gohan back into this forest after his training in the Sacred World of the Kais.

It is a battle stage called Grasslands in Dragon Ball Z: Super Butōden 3.
