Summary[]

The Dragon Team realize that the androids must be somewhere inside Papaya Town. Piccolo says that they will have to find them by sight if they cannot feel their ki. Goku instructs the group to spread out and search for them, but to let the others know as soon as they find anything. He also tells Gohan to tend to Yajirobe, who is still alive. The group splits up, and Goku wishes that Future Trunks had brought them a picture, while Krillin's ability to fly is noticed by a shocked citizen. Krillin asks the man if he had seen anyone suspicious, but the young man only pointed out Krillin. As Piccolo and Tien look around throughout the city, Gohan reaches Yajirobe, who asks what the things were that shot down his hovercar. Yamcha runs through an alleyway, wondering if the Androids really exist, since he is having trouble finding them.

Meanwhile, the androids walk through Papaya Town. A nearby pedestrian asks his friend if he saw the hovercar that exploded in the sky. Upon hearing this, Android 19 walks up to the man, who asks if he saw the explosion and is confused as to what 19 is doing, and headbutts him. His friend is shocked as to what had happened, then 19 punches him into a wall. Android 20, standing in the middle of the road, is nearly hit by a car, the driver of which yells and honks at him to get out of the road. Android 20 responds by shoving his hand through the car's hood, then pulling the driver out through the roof of the car and squeeze his neck, ripping his head from his body. A nearby woman screams as she witnessed 20 kill the man, and Yamcha hears her and begins to run towards the sound. As the woman runs away screaming for help, 20 detects Yamcha's ki, which is abnormally high, and wonders of it is a sensor malfunction. 19 determines that it is not a sensor malfunction as he also detects it, with 20 noting it exceeds known human parameters. 19 believes that they have already found Goku.

Upon arriving at the scene, Yamcha finds the deceased men, but the androids are nowhere in sight. He asks a couple of nearby citizens through a window if they saw who killed the two men, and one of the men responds that it was two strange-looking people, the other man then stating that they suddenly disappeared. As Yamcha wonders if he should bring the others to his location, the androids float in the air above him, monitoring him. Android 19 says that the person they are looking at is not Goku, as the data does not match. He then surmises that there is a 96% chance, based on their data, that they have found Yamcha. 20 says that regardless, he will be a good source of power. As Yamcha debates whether to alert the others or not if the androids are not here, they land behind him. Hearing them land, Yamcha is alerted to their presence and turns around. He asks if they saw where the murderers went before realizing that they are the androids and backing away, as 20 responds to his question. As Yamcha begins to yell out, 20 puts his hand over his mouth, as Yamcha struggles to remove his hand in futility. He lifts Yamcha into the air, and Yamcha feels his energy being drained away. He then drives his hand through Yamcha's chest.
