Dragon Ball Keshi Shu figurine

In the 80's, a series of miniature quarter-priced rubber machine toys was released, much like the Ultimate Muscle series and coming in randomized colors. They are known as Dorakeshi Keshi-Gomu and are rather hard to come by. All characters in this set came in a random color and all of them were very tiny and immobile. Shu appears once in this miniature set, although the same mold appears in numerous colors, such as tan, yellow, green, or red. The figurine comes in a basic stance with a baffled expression as his hands are kept to his sides and his sword is kept in its scabbard and strapped behind him.

They are known as Dorakeshi Keshi-Gomu and are rather hard to come by. All characters in this set were originally released in a random mono-color base. Shu appears once in this miniature set, although the same mold had previously been released in multiple colors. This re-release set features 12 unique colored pieces, including Goku with purple gi and power pole, Goku standing with top off, Oolong with underwear on head, Oolong with uniform, Puar, Master Roshi, Bulma, Yamcha, Monster Carrot, Shu, Emperor Pilaf, and Great Ape (Goku). These miniatures are very intricately colored and detailed versions of the Keshi series releases.

This Keshi set also collected many of the previously released single-pack Keshi pieces in one tan base set. Those included in this set are Puar, Emperor Pilaf, Bulma, Shu, Monster Carrot, Yamcha, 2 variants of Kid Goku, a Shenron with clothing, Master Roshi, 2 variants of Oolong, Mai, Rabbit One, Rabbit Two, Chi-Chi, Ox-King, and a Great Ape Goku. This Keshi 12-pack set features some of the first-appearing characters in the Dragon Ball series as a base Keshi set. The pieces are re-releases of the previous KeshiGomu packs in one nice package. This package features a unique fold-out cardboard background that creates a tournament ring. Figurines in this Keshi pack hold a tan base. Characters included in the set are Yamcha, Monster Carrot, Bulma, Master Roshi, Oolong, Emperor Pilaf, Puar, 2 variants of Kid Goku, Mai, Shu, and a chibi anthropomorphic Shenron.

Similar to the AB Groupe Super Guerriers mini pieces and Irwin's Saga Continues miniatures, this Bandai "Dragon Ball & Dragon Ball Z Collectible Figurines" series includes 12 pieces from the Dragon Ball era. The Shu figurine portrays him with his hands kept to his sides as he stares to his side, his sword kept behind him in its scabbard. This set features a full-color paint job for all the miniatures as opposed to a one-color mono style. Other pieces included in this same set are Krillin, Emperor Pilaf, Goku, Oolong, Master Roshi, Kid Trunks, Bulma, Majin Vegeta, Yamcha, and Mai. This set was released overseas as the Dragon Ball franchise spread across the Japanese market to include other continents in its production run.

Part 30 Keshi Mai with Emperor Pilaf and Shu figurines

These miniature gashapon figurines were released in capsule toys and incorporated 3-packs and 2-packs of characters from both DBZ and DBGT. Each capsule had 3 or 2 characters attached to a plastic base, which could be snapped off and kept separate from each other. All figurines in each capsule came in a single color, so in Shu's case, multiple coloring schemes were used. The Shu mold portrayed him as he appears in the DBGT Black Star Dragon Ball Saga, with both hands dangling to his sides as his ears are seen hanging downward. He is attached to Emperor Pilaf and Mai, each with their own unique posture. Pieces included in this series are Gohan with Videl, Emperor Pilaf with Shu and Mai, Yamcha with Bulma, Krillin with Mr. Satan and Vegeta, Dende with Goku, Super Saiyan 3 Goku, Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks, Vegito with Super Buu (Gotenks-absorbed), Super Buu (Piccolo-absorbed), Kid Buu, Uub with Bulla and Goten, and Trunks with Pan and Goku for a total of 10 pieces and 24 characters in the part 30 set.

The Mini Figure Selection series volume has included a repertoire of characters from the Dragon Ball series in a nice bronze color highlight. Included in this set is a miniature diorama piece featuring Emperor Pilaf, Shu, and Mai, who are seen standing with confident positions. Emperor Pilaf stands in front holding a Dragon Ball and wearing a sinister smirk as Shu and Mai hold determined and angered expressions and stand behind him as his loyal guards. This miniature piece is well-crafted and has a distinct bronze coloring scheme, matching the rest of the Mini Figure Selection series set.

Keshi Dragon Ball Package including Shu

This large package of a repertoire of Dragon Ball characters includes a total of 18 pieces. Shu is included in this elongated rectangular package. It is a new keshi piece exclusive to this packaging, featuring Shu standing with his sword placed behind his back and kept in its scabbard. There are many others included in this same set as well as a few vehicle Keshi pieces and accessories.

This Keshi Bagging Series has a randomized Keshi piece included in each bag. The mini bagging front features an image of Kid Goku atop Shenron and Master Roshi on the back holding the Bansho Fan. There are 18 different Keshi pieces to collect in this set albeit being randomized in the packs. Shu is included in this set and is the same mold from the Keshi package set released by Banpresto. This Keshi piece holds a yellow hue as opposed to the blue version of the full set included in the Keshi package set also released by Banpresto.

Released in 2007, Banpresto's Historical Figure series was a great tribute to some of the characters in Dragon Ball as a bust format. In each volume of this 4-part set, a certain saga was emphasized through the featured characters. Shu is included in the volume 4 set amongst a few others, including Mai, King Piccolo, Emperor Pilaf, Kid Goku, Yajirobe, and Shenron. Each set connects to the other volumes to create an astonishing combination of characters as a complete diorama piece.

This Banpresto Dragon Ball keychain series features a few unique pieces in the set. Emperor Pilaf, Mai, and Shu come attached to a one-star Dragon Ball. This is the only piece that features three characters in one as a part of this set. Other pieces included im this same keychain set are Bulma wearing a bunny outfit, Kid Goku, Master Roshi with Turtle, and 3 variants of Shenron (one basic green version, one bronze chrome highlight variant, and one golden transparent see-through variant) for a total of 7 pieces to collect in this set.

The Banpresto DWC series includes Shu as collectible number DB021 in the miniature Volume 3 series and was released in May, 2009. The figure comes in a basic stance with a smile on his face and his sword behind his back. These figurines come boxed and in their own authentic case with the character image in front, as do all the other figurines in this set. The Shu figurine stands at approximately 70mm (2.73 inches). Others included in this same set are a combined Pilaf Machine, Emperor Pilaf, Mai, Monster Carrot, Kid Goku with Shu’s clothing, Krillin, and the Muscular Lady.

Ichiban Kuji Select Machines Pilaf Machine with Emperor Pilaf, Shu, and Mai

In July 2013, a very nice Dragon Ball Ichiban Kuji Select Machines series was released and incorporated the Pilaf Machine in the set. This set has a very detailed appearance and comes with three parts, including the segments that are commandeered by Emperor Pilaf, Shu, and Mai. The packaging for this set is also quite unique as it features a box package and a bubble showcasing the figure inside. This is one of Banpresto's unique pieces released as a part of the Ichiban Kuji Select Machines set and is designated as "Prize B" of the set. Each portion of the Pilaf Machine features transparent see-through figures of Pilaf, Shu, and Mai inside of the cockpits. The full Pilaf Machine set stands at 180mm (7 inches, 18 cm). The Select Machines set has also incorporated Pirate Robot as "Prize C" and Goku with Gohan riding a mechanized walking bike as "Prize A." Additionally, there were some other prizes included in the Select Machines set. "Prize F" was a variant of a towel featuring different artworks, including Goku with Oolong, Goku riding a Motorcycle, Kid Goku with headgear equipped and riding a plane, Launch on her motorbike, and Master Roshi on a mini bicycle. "Prize G" is a set of 7 different pin sets which feature various characters, and "Prize D" is a pillow cushion which features artwork of Goku with Bulma on a bike and the capsule corporation capsules as a design around the other side. "Prize H" and "Prize I" are a series of land and air vehicles featuring glowing clear see-through variants of each character riding them. "Prize H" features 3 different vehicle sets with clear riders, a plane including the World Tournament Announcer, a hover vehicle with Bulma, Goku, and Oolong, and a Red Ribbon Army officer riding a one-man helicopter. "Prize I" features Oolong's moving House-Wagon, Yamcha with Puar in their vehicle, and Monster Carrot's rabbit car.

Banpresto released a series with Shu on April 4, 2013 as a tribute to the Battle of Gods movie. This figure, standing at 55mm (2.15 inches) comes packaged in a mini-box and displays the featured character in front of the box and others in the same set on the side panel of the box. It is listed as collectible number DB007 and is from vol. 1. This Shu comes with a somewhat angered expression as he is seen standing in a basic stance. The figure also comes with a black base to stand on. These pieces were first showcased during the 30th Prize Fair, which took place in Tokyo on November 7, 2012. The eight pieces included in this DWC set are Super Saiyan 3 Goku, Super Saiyan God Goku, Vegeta, Bills, Whis, Emperor Pilaf, Mai, and Shu.

This Unifive Mecha & Figure series was released in November 2003 and has included 4 different sets designated as A-D. Each set features a vehicle or mechanized object with characters included in the packaging. The packs are box A which includes Goku with Korin and a hoverboard vehicle, box B which includes Oolong and Bulma with a speeder, box C which includes Yamcha and Puar with their car, and box D which includes Emperor Pilaf with Shu and Mai and their Pilaf Machine. Mai is seen in her original coat and Shu comes wearing his original ninja outfit. Emperor Pilaf can easily be placed inside the Pilaf Machine cockpit. The figurines in this box also come packaged with miniature accessories.

IF Labs Dragon Ball Emperor Pilaf and Shu figure pack

Originally released by Irwin Toy's IF Labs division, this Dragon Ball series 2 set has featured Emperor Pilaf with Shu in one of their memorable appearances in Dragon Ball. They are detailed as they appeared in Dragon Ball. Additional details include the ground base and great texture on their overall models. The background diorama included with the piece features some scenery with the packaging and ground base itself. This figure was later re-released in a similar boxed packaging by Jakks Pacific in conjunction with Giant Ape. This version of the Pilaf and Shu 2-pack figure set features a basic polished paint job. Other pieces included in this same Series 1 set are Master Roshi, and Monster Carrot with Kid Goku. Series 2 would include Kid Goku in the World Tournament, Launch with her weapons, chase sequence, and accessories, and Yamcha with Puar.

In conjunction with Giant Ape, Jakks Pacific has released a larger-sized 2-pack of Emperor Pilaf and Shu figures pertaining to the original Dragon Ball series. This is a re-release of the previous IF Labs figure. The packaging is very similar to the previous version, but this set also features Monster Carrot with Kid Goku, Bulma with her bike, and Master Roshi with his beach chair. This variant of Shu and Pilaf has a glossy and shiny paint job in comparison to the previous version although both the figure mold and models remain the same as prior. Aside from the initial construct of the boxart being slightly different and having the Giant Ape logo, the actual items remain very similar with all the same contents, including Shu's sword, and the basic background with the ground base itself.

Released in May, 2007 by Taki Corporation as a part of Combined Form series, the Pilaf Machine stands as a very powerfully realistic mechanized diorama piece. Each portion of the bot can be detached and reattached to form the complete piece. Each piece stands at its own height and is modeled to look exactly as it does in the anime. Emperor Pilaf, Shu, and Mai are each seen in their respective bots. Pilaf's machine is approximately 5 cm tall, Mai's machine is approximately 18 cm tall and Shu's machine is approximately 20 cm tall. Each separate bot is nicely articulated with unique ball-joints and limbs that provide a wide range of motion, and all three characters (Pilaf, Mai, and Shu) are included in the cockpit of each of their own machines. Both Pilaf's bot and Shu's bot can be combined to form a the "Ostrich" machine which stands at approximately 22 cm tall, and all three bots combined as the "Pilaf Machine" stand at 25 cm tall.

Sonokong Co, Ltd. (손오공주식회사) is a Korean toy, game, and general entertainment company which was originally established in 1974. As a publisher of some of the world's popular anime and productions, the corporate headquarters are located in Sugung-dong Guro-gu Seoul, Korea. The technical license for the company is also owned by Takara and Hasbro. The Super Battle Collection Korean Series Sonokong Ver. are a very unique set of figures dedicated to Dragon Ball characters. This Diorama Keshi pack has included a few Keshi pieces which were previously released by Bandai. Shu as he is seen standing with his sword kept behind him appears in this set along with randomized Keshi pieces of Korin, Master Roshi, and Goku (which is a slightly larger piece). Additionally, the set comes with a set of cardboard screen-cap pieces and a Shenron figurine reminiscent of a snake-like position. Other contents include two different colored balls and a round pog featuring an image of Kid Goku.
