Scorpulon finds and attacks Pan, who ran away from Goku and Trunks because of the threat of going back to Earth to bring Goten and to drop her off. Pan almost dies of heat exhaustion until Giru saves her by giving her water to drink and fending off Scorpulon.
Techniques and Special Abilities[]
- Sand Blast – Scorpulon and the other Sandipedes have the ability to shoot jets of sand out of their mouths. Named in the Dragon Ball Z Collectible Card Game.
- Tail Attack – Scorpulon can attack with his large tail. Used against Giru.
- Flight - The ability to fly by using ki. Used in Dokkan Battle.
Video Game Appearances[]
In GT: Transformation, this creature is the boss on Rudeeze. It attacks using its claws and stringer. What is unique about this boss, is that its tail/stringer has its own separate health bar. This creature's tail appears to be floating rather than attached to its body, which is due to the way the game was created.
Additionally, in Dokkan Battle, it appears as a non-playable boss character in the Story Event "Desert Rescue! Giru Saves the Day!". Like the Vampa Beetles, Scorpulon can utilizing ki-based Flight in Dokkan Battle.
Trivia[]
- The creature's Japanese name, arijigoku modoki, literally translates to something akin to "antlion-like" or "similar to an antlion".
