This article is about the energy. For the ability to become stronger, see Saiyan Power.

Saiya Power[2] is a type of energy unique to Saiyans.

Overview

Though Saiya Power is relatively unexplained, it can simply be seen as a Saiyan's ki. Dragon Ball Fusions indirectly supports this by classifying Saiya Power as one of five types of energy (Red Energy in the case of Saiyans), separating it from energy types of other races. Like other occurrences of Ki Transfer, Saiyans who pool Saiya Power into another Saiyan can augment that Saiyan into reaching a new level of strength, such as a maximum-power version of Super Saiyan 4.

Usage

Baby stole Saiya Power from the likes of Goten in order to become stronger.[3]

Goku later acquired Saiya Power from Goten, Trunks, Pan and Gohan in order to fully power his Super Saiyan 4 form. During the Shadow Dragon Saga, he once again assumed Super Full Power Saiyan 4 by gainig Goten, Trunks & Gohan's Saiya Power.

In Super Dragon Ball Heroes, Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta are able to achieve Super Full Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker with Saiya Power received from Xeno Trunks (Super Saiyan God), Xeno Pan (Base), Goku (Base in manga, Super Saiyan Blue in anime & in-game), Vegeta (Base in manga, Super Saiyan Blue in anime & in-game).

Video Game Appearances

"Saiyans drop Red Energy when defeated and let you carry more of it when recruited."
— "Saiyans equals Red Energy" Dragon Ball Fusions tip description

In Dragon Ball Fusions, Saiya Power is represented as Red Energy in the same manner that Blue Energy represents Earthlings, Purple Energy represents Offworlders, Yellow Energy represents Aliens, and Green Energy represents Namekians. The five Energy Types serve as currency within the Timespace Rift and can be collected by defeating the coresponding race (Saiyans drop Red Energy when defeated). Tekka's Team can increase the amount of energy they can carry by recruiting fighters (more Saiyans recruited the more Red Energy they can carry though only up to 999 Units for each Energy type).
