Roundworms (回虫親子, Kaichū Oyako) are a race of worm creatures that live inside Buu.

Overview

Roundworms are seen in filler of Dragon Ball Z, first appearing in the episode "The Innards of Buu". A roundworm family live inside Super Buu's body. They are able to communicate with the enzymes and victims inside Buu. The roundworms try to eat Goku and Vegeta after the two were attacked by Buu's enzymes.

Worm Tail, Worm Body and Worm Head

Roundworms appear as three enemies inside Super Buu's body in Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury, the three parts of the Roundworms are classed as individual enemies: Worm Head, Worm Body and Worm Tail. If a non-head segment is attacked, they will split into a new Worm head where they will move independently of their parent. However, if the player only attacks the head, then all the other segments will be destroyed.

They appear in the wild in Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans, where three types of roundworm exist: the Roundworm, the Dark Firefly, and the Poison Sandbug.

Roundworm

The common roundworm is the weakest form of roundworm. In the anime, they are white, and live inside Super Buu. However, in Attack of the Saiyans, they are blue, and appear in some caves in Spinach Wastes. The scouter gives them the following stats:

• EXP Given: 600
• AP Given: 36
• Zeni Given: 150
• They have no major weaknesses

They can also spit out two Roundworm Larva.

Roundworm Larva

Roundworm larva are the small weaker children of the Roundworm. They always come in twos. The scouter gives them the following stats:

• Power level: 88
• HP: 200
• EXP Given: 120
• AP Given: 6
• Zeni Given: 30
• They have no major weaknesses

Dark Firefly

The Dark Firefly is the strongest form of roundworm. They appear in Mutaito's Training Grounds, inside caves. The scouter gives them the following stats:

• Power Level: 1800
• HP: 2400
• EXP Given: 2400
• AP Given: 66
• Zeni Given: 420
• They have no major weaknesses

They can also spit out two Firefly Larva.

Firefly Larva

Firefly larva are the small weaker children of the Dark Firefly. They always come in twos. The scouter gives them the following stats:

• Power level: 443
• HP: 650
• EXP Given: 300
• AP Given:24
• Zeni Given: 120
• They have no major weaknesses

Poison Sandbug

The Poison Sandbug are a type of roundworm appearing in deserts. The scouter gives them the following stats:

• Power Level: 476
• HP: 1400
• EXP given: 1320
• AP Given: 66
• Zeni Given: 220
• They have no major weaknesses.

They can spit out two Sandbug Larva.

Sandbug Larva

Sandbug larva are the small weaker children of the Poison Sandbug. They always come in twos. The scouter gives them the following stats:

• Power level: 252
• HP: 450
• EXP Given: 180
• AP Given: 6
• Zeni Given: 35
• They have no major weaknesses
