The Red Ribbon Army Headquarters (RR軍本部 ) is the main base of the Red Ribbon Army. It is located in a deep forest southwest of the Sacred Land of Korin.
Overview
Goku attacked the base to avenge Bora, as well as to get the remaining Dragon Balls. The base's overall length is larger than a small town, and it is divided up into several sections. It is protected by turrets, jets, helicopters, soldiers driving hovercars, and many footsoldiers. Every part of the headquarters is equipped with machine guns and cannons. It also contains various traps, such as a trick ceiling that, when activated, will crush anyone within the vicinity, as well as various booby-trapped explosive safes that were presumably designed to keep people from gaining any information about their researchers. Commander Red has his own apartments inside the Red Ribbon Army Headquarters. There is a control room with a Global Dragon Radar. The base also apparently contains a golf course.
The Red Ribbon Army Headquarters was redesigned in Dragon Ball: The Path to Power: it is now located on a cliff overlooking a sea, and it contains several busts of Commander Red, a jail which is used to hold Bulma, Oolong, Master Roshi, Turtle, Yamcha and Puar captive, a tower which serves as a garage for Commander Red's hovercar, and a higher tower which serves as Staff Officer Black's Battle Jacket garage.
After Goku took down the Red Ribbon Army, the base became ruins.
Video Game Appearances
The Red Ribbon Army Headquarters is a stage in Famicom Jump: Hero Retsuden, Dragon Ball 3: Gokuden, Dragon Ball: Advanced Adventure, Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo, and Dragon Ball: Origins 2.
It is a battle stage in Dragon Ball Z 2: Super Battle.
Named Red Ribbon Army Base, it is also a battle stage in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3, Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai, and Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World.
