Red's Pet Cat-like Animal (レッドの飼かうネコみたいな動どう物ぶつ, reddo no kau neko mitai-na dōbutsu) is a cat-like animal who accompanies Commander Red in the anime.

Appearance

It is a cat-like animal with demonic features; bright gold-red eyes, a large mouth with sharp fangs in its teeth, it has long floppy ears, thick paws with long sharp nails, and has a long tail. His fur is mostly dark purple except for the inside of his ears and the tip of his tail, which are dark green, his nails are also this color.

Personality

He is a wild and aggressive cat-like animal who attacks to the Red Ribbon Army soldiers obeying his owner. He seems to enjoy being near to Commander Red. However, if Red press so strong his head, the cat-like animal gets angry and bites him.

The cat-like animal attacking Colonel Silver

The cat-like animal is introduced with his owner. When the latter one calls Colonel Silver to his office, the cat-like animal tries to attack him but Silver dodges it, immediately, the cat-like animal jumps to the ceiling and attacks him again, causing him a scratch. Later, he returns to Commander Red's legs, and he caresses the cat-like animal. The English dub claims that Red often sics the cat-like animal onto anyone who walked into his office to test their reflexes, and also implies that anyone failing to effectively dodge the cat (such as one who had the misfortune of losing his eye to the cat-like animal) ended up executed.

In the anime, he is seen being caressed by Commander Red or simply being in the same room that Red is, being happy to be near his owner.

The cat-like animal in the destroyed headquarters

After Goku destroyed the Red Ribbon Army, the cat-like animal survived the battle, and he is seen one last time meowing in the headquarters' ruins.

• The cat-like animal's role seems to be a parody of Ernst Stavro Blofeld's pet Persian cat from the James Bond movies.
