Pyramids are four-sided buildings built in the desert south of the Red Ribbon Army Headquarters, near Fortuneteller Baba's Palace. There is a telephone booth nearby.[1]
Overview[]
General Blue arrived there after being kicked out from Penguin Village by Arale Norimaki. Later, Piccolo used telekinesis to lift gigantic pyramids into the air during his training in preparation for Vegeta and Nappa's invasion, although he accidentally detonates one.[1][2]
Video Game Appearances[]
InDragon Ball Z Side Story: Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans and Dragon Ball Z Side Story: True Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans - Earth Saga, Gohan visits a pyramid in the Western Desert in order to find and destroy one of the Destron Gas machines; defeating the monster Jiku and rescuing a girl whom Jiku had tied up in the process. The pyramid is also seen in the game's first OVA adaptation, Dragon Ball: Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans, but not visited.
Another notable pyramid appears in Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury, the Kyodai Pyramid. It is where Trunks meets Dr. Challenger of the Royal Academy of Science and gets the Seven-Star Dragon Ball after defeating Pharaoh Totenhotep and his undead servants; Trunks acquiring the Pharaoh's headdress in exchange for the Dragon Ball.
