"You want to know what your big mistake was, Black? It's that stolen body! Every muscle, every cell! His body was built from a life time of intense battles! But you took it! It's all second hand! You feel the power of those Saiyan cells but you don't truly understand it, because you didn't build it! AND YOU'LL NEVER LEARN TO THINK LIKE THAT CLOWN!!!" |
Pride of Our Warrior Race (戦闘民族の誇り )[2] is a Rush Attack used by Vegeta in his Super Saiyan Blue form.
Overview[]
First, Vegeta punches the opponent in the stomach and once more in their face. Then, he grabs the opponent by the head and throws them to the ground. Finally, Vegeta slams down onto the defenseless opponent, assaults them with a barrage of punches and finishes them off with one mighty blow.
Usage[]
Vegeta uses this attack during his rematch against Super Saiyan Rosé Goku Black. After blocking Black's Violent Fierce God Slicer with only his arm, Vegeta powers up and assaults Black with the Warrior's Pride rush, leaving him in confusion as to how there can be such a great difference in their powers.[3]
During his fight against Jiren in the Tournament of Power, Vegeta uses the technique after reading the Pride Trooper's movements to catch him off-guard with a heavy blow, pressuring him with a rapid assault before landing a hard kick to his stomach, forcing Jiren to release more of his power to overpower Vegeta.[4]
Video Game Appearances[]
In Dokkan Battle, it is named Pride of Our Warrior Race where it appears as one of Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta's Super Attacks. The version used against Jiren appears as a Super Attack for Super Saiyan God SS Evolved Vegeta. The name reappears to represent a Super Attack for a Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ version of Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta, who uses Niagara Pummel during the rush attack.
In Legends, it is named God Burst Rush (ゴッドバーストラッシュ ) where it appears as Legends Limited Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta's God Burst Rush Ultimate Move Arts Legendary Finish.
